People's qi and physical strength had their limits.

After training with Vajra Opening for hours, Rain had reached that limit. His qi was completely drained, and worse, his muscles and bones screamed in pain. His body had taken on too much strain, and the sudden increase in intensity had led to varying degrees of damage in his meridians.

He sighed deeply, knowing what he had to do.

He had to stop. Any more training would only lead to further injury. At this point, rest was mandatory. His body needed time to heal, a few days at least. If he was rich, like those from powerful families, he could afford to buy healing pills or hire high-level wood and water elementalists to speed up his recovery. But for someone like Rain? Even a basic Juling Pill was out of reach.
