CHAPTER EIGHTEEN
"Dean Martin I didn't cheat. I've never cheated, so why start now?"
"Then how do you explain this video" Dean Martin said and played the video.
Desi widened her eyes as she watched the video. She had indeed underestimated them. She wondered who was behind it. The video looked so real. In the video she had brought out a chip and was really writing some stuff down her exam script, sneakily.
Just from a look one would think it was really her!
"The video aside Miss Le grande, we also have eye witnesses."
Just then, three students came forward and testified against Desiree.
'wow!' Desi thought. 'They came fully prepared.'
"Miss Le grande if you have no way of proving your innocence; Miss Le grande I think you would have to leave the school."
"I can prove that the recording from the CCTV has been tampered with. This isn't the real video. I just need three days." Desi said.
After giving it some thought, the Dean finally agreed.
Immediately Desi left the office she made a phone call.
"Hello T-Rex"
"Hello Dee, what trouble have you gotten yourself in this time around?"
Immediately Desi heard this, she squeezed her face acting all wronged.
"Rex, are you trying to say that I only call you when I'm in trouble?"
"No Dee, all I'm trying to say is that you seem to magnet trouble anywhere you go... Umm no offense" he said
Feigning tears
"Rex you are a very bad bad bad friend, I didn't get into trouble, I just called for you to help me track a video, I was accused of cheating.
Huh?
How was this not trouble!
Sob sob sob... Desi cried
"Alright Alright, which security system do I have to hack into?"
"Ummm...My school"
"OK"
"Rex I have only two days and I also need evidence to point out that the video they possesed was fake"
"Give me forty-five minutes, you'll have the real video."
"I knew I could count on you! Bye Rex"
'du du du..'
The line got disconnected.
T-Rex laughed, this was so typical of her! She calls only when she needs help.
"Dee Dee Dee" he said to himself with his eyes full of admiration.
In Kingston's corporation.
Michael sat in his desk while Humphrey gave a report on the company's stock.
"Why is her schedule so empty?" Michael asked.
"Who sir?" Humphrey asked.
"You know who." He replied sternly.
"She combines schooling and modeling sir, that's why."
"Get me her class timetable"
Humphrey's face was filled with awe. His Master was being outright shameless! He couldn't even hide the fact that he was interested in that model any more. He had completely lost his cool!
"Yes Master"
"You may leave" Michael said and focused once more on the documents in front of him.
"Have you released the video?... Brilliant!" she said and ended the call.
Humph! Let's see how she gets out of this mess! Desire Le grande, I'm going to crush you till you are nothing but dust!

The next day, Desi got up as usual with dog Daphne and off they went for the Jog.
She was putting on her headphones while jogging. She was enjoying the melody of the music so much that she forgot to focus on her path.
"Dum! She bumped into a hard surface.
"Ouch!" She touched her fore head.
"Can't you watch where you're going you moron! Fools everywhere! I really don't know what youths think these days that they can't focus on their path!" Desi screamed.

Humphrey " "
Dog daph " "
What the hell was going on there? Desiree was clearly at fault but here was she attacking the victim without battling an eye.
Soonest Desi raised her head up and gasped. She just bumped into the legendary beast.
'Oh ye beast from the pit of hell, please spare thy unrepentant slave' she pleaded in her heart. She but her lower lips not willing to show the fear in her heart.
"Well, well, well, isn't it the CEO of Kingston's Corporation, Michael Kingston." She said staring at him in the eye not willing to admit defeat.
"Who would have thought you also exercise on this lowly path made for commoners like us. This news would definitely make a headline" she said with a smirk .
"I assume it's Miss Le grande, One would surely recognize that sharp mouth of yours, anytime, anywhere." He said.
"I think you owe me an apology" he continued.
"Hahaha! She laughed. Young Master must be clearly so free that he has so much time to bother about an apology; coming from a lowlife like me." she said trying to dodge away from the apology.
"I do cherish my apologies a lot. So Miss Le grande, be the National goddess you are meant to be, and apologize to me." He said firmly.
"Alright alright, I'm sorry, can I leave now?"
He was about to say something when her phone rang.
"Hello Sweetheart...."
She answered while walking away with her dog totally ignoring him.
"Find out who she's on the phone with" he said and abandoned Humphrey.
Humphrey couldn't understand what was going on. Was his Master jealous?
