Inside the classroom, everything stood still, except for Aki and Haru.
Haru lay with his head on Aki's lap, and she gently stroked his cheeks, watching him intently.
Suddenly after a certain time, Haru's eyes trembled.
"Haru~" A smile came over her face as she saw him waking up.
However, her smile faded as she noticed the expression on his face.
It wasn't the look of someone simply confused the one she expected; it was a face that bore the weight of loss and hardship.
"You remembered everything, didn't you?" Aki's voice was heavy with emotion as she spoke.
But Haru remained silent, his gaze fixed on her.
A weak chuckle escaped Aki's lips. "There we go again... No matter how hard I try to make you forget your pain, you still remember."
"Why, Haru?" Tears welled up in her eyes. "Why can't you just be with me?"
Looking at her, multiple emotions surged within him.
