Their Struggle
Outside the Domain, a deadly battle raged on as three people faced off against thousands.
Kuga supported Aki and Orimura with his spells, aiding their fight at the front lines. But as their situation grew dire, he armed himself with a massive sword, a drop item from their enemies, and joined the desperate struggle for survival.
Despite his stats and class favoring support over melee combat, Kuga had to force himself extra hard to move to not lag behind the girls, wanting to support them with his all.
However, as time wore on, his movements grew sluggish.
"Die!" Seeing his awkward movements, a foe resembling his friend lunged at Kuga from behind seeing an opportunity, claws outstretched toward his vulnerable back.
"!?" Reacting a beat too late, Kuga sensed the imminent threat.
Luckily, someone had his back.
"Kuga! Duck!" Orimura's urgent cry got Kuga into swift action, trusting her without hesitation.
