22Chapter 19: Beach day and taking our leave

I still don't own anything but my OCS.

To Kitsune obsessed freak - I thought about that, but i'd get too annoyed with all the spacing i'd have to do and i prefer writing this way. I might try that in whatever story i try next and see if i could tolerate it then.

{Tara's POV}

Waking up, i went through my new routine. Gently waking up Kuroka, making sure Natsu was on my head safe, and heading to start the morning. Kuroka always came with me when i did, and she'd wake the girls up for me while i ordered our breakfast. The girls would go from there, and we'd have our breakfast. Koneko usually sat by me and Kuroka would be besides her. Rias and Irina would sit together, and then we'd decide what to wear together. It was always a battle with Kuroka. 'Not sexy enough Nya.' Or 'my ass could look better in that Nya.' If she couldn't make the nearest guy almost break his neck looking at her, she didn't want it. The shopping trip we had to do just to find her clothes she'd like made me get a call from my bank.

After saying i wasn't scammed or had my card stolen, we went right back to shopping. Kuroka almost convinced Rias to buy her an entire clothing store, and i had to bribe her with a fuck-ton of fish to drop it. Kuroka and Rias had the same love for risque and overly sexy clothes, and it was giving me more grief then i could take. Irina and Koneko comforted me in my time of need, and we ended up with enough clothes for Kuroka. She was also warming up to me more, and the idea that she could have her own happiness without feeling guilty over the massacre of her race... Which was a work in progress, but we were getting there. The rest of that week was good, but i had a good feeling about today. After we were all dressed, we made our way to Boss' and talked about what we'd do when we got home. Kuroka was coming with us, we all knew, the Kuoh group knew, and Sirzechs was doing what he could to help clear Kuroka's name.

We were also allowed to blow anyone who gave us trouble about her straight to hell. They even renovated the house again, and we apparently got another 2 floors and a underground area for Ophis. I gave up trying to understand how one of the strongest beings in this world could be bribed with treats, and just accepted it. We ended up getting a floor just for our anime merch and things like that, so i was happier thinking about that then the super loli in our basement. Rias, Irina and i had plans for that floor, and the other new floor was a LAN center... I didn't question it. Our talks ended up flying by us, as we ended up at the door to Leblanc before any of us knew it. I got up front, and continued my tradition. I played 'Ride of the Valkyries' and opened the door. "We have arrived to prepare for battle! Prepare our refreshments so we may go off to battle awake!" Boss just smirked at me as he usually did, and i went to the counter.

The girls had been going to the booths for a bit now since we were a few too many, and i would take a seat at my usual spot. We talked for a bit, got our orders, Akira came down at some point, and then we heard the door open. We turned to it, and Boss paused. Standing there was Futaba. She walked right in, took a seat next to me, and took my cup of coffee. That made me blink, she said she'd want to try my Mocha before, but she just went and did it. "Huh. This is pretty good. Sojiro! I want one. And curry, i'm hungry!" Boss just blinked and stared at her. We saw that, but Futaba's stomach growled and Boss still hadn't moved. "Ughhh. Taraaaa! Sojiro's broken, fix him!" I just raised a brow at that. "Don't look at me honey. You broke him, you fix him." She groaned and threw her head back.

Boss seemed to finish rebooting, and then asked how she got here. After a smartass comment about walking, Boss started to cook her curry. While he did that, i turned to Futaba. "So honey, how are you feeling? You were out of it for a week." Futaba turned to me, and i could see she was happy. Not just that i was here, just happy in general. I liked that look in her eyes. "I'm great! Better then great. Greatest of the great! Though walking sucks, i didn't think i'd pass the stamina check to get here." I laughed at that, and i heard Koneko snicker. "Small. Weak with no meat on her bones." Futaba looked like she was just slapped. "Hey! I'm not small... I'm just still growing! Besides, your smaller then me Koneko!" My daughter just smirked at Futaba. "Small but strong. And i have muscles. Therefore bigger where it counts." "Nuh uh!" "Yes." "Does not!" We all watched as the smallest and youngest girls in Leblanc just went back and fourth.

I saw the happy and proud smile on his face, and i was pretty sure i had one just like his on my own face. The girls kept going, and somehow shifted their conversation to a fighting game, and eventually Boss finished the curry. The smell made Futaba break the conversation with Koneko, and dig in. She made this happy sound, and the morning went from there. Akira reminded her about Medjed, and she took care of it. After that was done, all the thieves met upstairs, and they had their meeting about the whole thing. The girls and i had left and we were going to get some games for Futaba and Koneko. The thieves told us they were going to all go on a beach trip when Futaba was ready, and my girls and i set a day to go buy swimsuits. One shopping trip for games and another place Irina wanted to eat at, and we met back up at Leblanc. Futaba was still downstairs, hiding behind Akira for some reason, but came out when she realized it was us.

"Did you guys get it? Please say yes!" I laughed, and Koneko dug inside her bag to bring out BBXTAG. Futaba asked for it, and i had to buy an entire console since Futaba was a PC gamer but Koneko was a console gamer. I was fine with either, but they went into it when they figured out the other was a 'plebeian.' Futaba managed to get Boss and Akira to set it up in the living room, and both girls went off to beat the shit of each other. With those three out, Kuroka joined them since it was Koneko going and she wanted to cheer her on, the rest of us just talked. Then Boss started to talk with this tone that we all knew meant he wanted to be heard. "Kids... All of you. I... I need to thank you for this. Futaba... I didn't know if i'd ever see her like she was today. Out of her room. In the cafe... Eating her mothers curry. Actually talking to friends... This... This is something i can never thank you enough for. But i can try. So all of you. Thank you for helping Futaba." We all smiled at Boss and i grinned.

"Does that mean unlimited coffee?" He laughed at that. "Don't get ahead of yourself kid." I clicked my tongue, but we all laughed. We talked some more, and a while later, Futaba, Koneko and Kuroka walked back in. Futaba looked like a million bucks, but Koneko just looked defeated. Kuroka was trying to cheer her up, and we all just turned to Futaba. "There's no way you beat her THAT badly... Is there?" Futaba just gave me a victory sign and grinned. "7-3!" I blinked at that, and turned to Koneko and Kuroka. I thought about how to make my daughter feel better, and just accepted i'd be losing even more money today. "Rias... Can you go get us Koneko's favorite later? I'll pay for it." Koneko perked up on the spot. "Sure thing Tara-onee!" Koneko smiled and turned to give Futaba a smug grin. "Hey! I'm the winner here, where are my rewards?" I just sighed again. "What's your favorite kind honey?" "Cherry!" "You heard the girl Rias... You'd might as well get one for yourself while your at it." "Yes! I'll do it now, cake here i come!" She grabbed my card, then she dashed passed the other girls and ran out of the cafe.

I sighed again. Something i've been doing more on my vacation then i'd normally do in Kuoh. I looked over to see Boss and Akira's amused faces, and huffed at them. Koneko and Futaba sat by my sides, and Kuroka sat with Irina. We all just talked and relaxed, and Rias came back to join us 10 minutes later. She brought the cakes to the booth, and the girls went over to join her. We talked about the thieves plan to get Futaba beach ready, and eventually left after another hour of relaxing in Leblanc. When we left, the girls decided to hit the bath house literally right in-front of the cafe, so we did. There weren't any other women there, so it was just us soaking it in. It was nice, and we even got a surprise. A few minutes later, and Tae comes in. She took a look at the group, raised a brow, and just joined us in the water. "What's up doc?" An amused huff later, we're all talking with her, and it was going great.

Then we somehow got into the topic of relationships, which i think was anime logic at work there, and Tae dropped the bomb on us. "Hmm. Any ideas on how to get the kid to make a move? We're pretty much a thing now, but i can't be having all the fun." It took me a moment to process that, and the rest of the girls understood it when i did. "Oh? The sexy doctor seducing her patient? I see where that's going Nyahaha!" Kuroka seemed entirely TOO amused at this information. Rias and Irina started blushing like mad, and i think Irina was envisioning herself as a sexy doctor... I'll ignore her mumbling about giving Issei a 'check up' for now. Looking over to Koneko, i saw my daughter just looked out of it... Hmm... seems to be buffering. Oh well. "How'd that happen anyway?" I really did want to know. Tae looked over to me, and smirked.

"I saw my little Guinea Pig run his eyes over my legs enough times to tell he was interested, and he is a handsome man. You can just tell he'll end up a gray fox later on, and i liked the idea of making him mine. Some teasing, spent a good enough amount of time together, and deciding that i actually did want him instead of just enjoying teasing him, and i brought it up. He's cute when you catch him off guard... And seeing him without his fake glasses did make me a little horny. Even if things don't work out, i could probably convince him to keep the idea of being open for some... Benefits." Irina and Rias were sinking. just crashed. And Kuroka and i were amused. I was fine with sex talk, maybe not with Koneko in the same room, but still fine. We talked from there, some groping, done by Tae and Kuroka because why not, and we all walked out of the bath. Tae gave Kuroka her number, and the women were pleased.

That was a combo i didn't expect, but not surprised about clicking. We all went back to the suite, and chilled from there. I heard Kuroka and Tae talk over call, and i made sure Koneko wasn't within hearing distance. Irina and Rias devolved into blushing little girls when they heard some of the things the women brought up, and Rias decided to go drag Irina off to buy Doujins. So there i was, making sure to cover Koneko's ears as Kuroka and Tae talked about their 'adventures' and i was sighing a storm. {Kuroka is going to be the death of me.} {If so, then you'd be at-least thrice dead. You've said that about all your girls, get used to it.} {Ughhh!} Thankfully, the women ended the call in a few minutes, and i was able to free Koneko's ears. She stayed in my lap, and we just looked at Kuroka as she came in. She took a look at us, and raised a brow.

"What? That woman knows how to have fun Nya." I rolled my eyes at that. I covered Koneko's ears again and spoke. "I won't deny that, but the next time you're going to talk about your preferred length and the best toys, try not to do it in ear shot?" She stuck her tongue out at me, the brat! "Not my fault they can't take a grown up conversation Nya." I sighed again. "You're going to keep doing it on purpose aren't you?" "Of course Nya. They're adorable when they lose it Nya." I took my hands off of Koneko's ears, and used my spell card. "Sweetie... Give your sister THE look." Koneko nodded, and brought out her ears and tail, and drooped. I saw Kuroka take the look, and i saw the battle being waged. Keep teasing, or submit to Koneko's look and agree. It wasn't even a few seconds after that she lost. Kuroka deflated, and i saw her nod. "Evil... You're pure evil Haha Nya."

I was about to snort at that, but then i took in what she said. Both Koneko and i looked surprised at that. "Did... Did you just?" I looked at her, and i could tell my eyes were wide. Kuroka looked up at me, and after a second, she nodded. "I thought about it... And i watched you with the little Gremory, that ex church girl, the shut in, and Shirone... And when we sleep... I feel safe... Just like Shirone said. I thought about if i really wanted you to be my mother. And even if she never got the chance too, i still remember my Okaasan when she was still there. I don't want to replace those memories... Maybe i'll change my mind in some years... But i can give you a chance. I never called Okaasan Haha, but i can give it to you. As long as you'll let me... Nya." I kept looking at her, and i held out my arm. "Come on, that deserves a hug." Kuroka smiled, and came over.

Koneko moved a bit, and turned a bit so she could hug the both of us. I let my wings come out, and hugged the sisters turned daughters, and i felt how happy they were. We held the hug for a bit, and eventually broke out of it. I spent time with both of my daughters, and i took them down to eat fish from the buffet while we waited for Irina and Rias to come back. After they did, we all went back up, and relaxed. Koneko and Futaba got into a rivalry at some point, and we ended up playing uno on our phones. Rias had bullshit luck so i dropped out of it at after getting hit by a +16 and throwing my phone into the wall. I did not gamer rage. I don't know what my girls were talking about. I sent Martha a thanks for the unbreakable enchantment on my phone, and went to get some sweets from downstairs to make me feel better.

The sweet gathering was going great, and i went into the elevator happy and feeling better. I was humming a little tune, and talking with the Kuoh group. Then i saw Kuroka send the video of me throwing my phone into the wall, and the reactions from it. Issei quoted what Ddraig said, and i felt the urge to hit the old handbag with a Unison Raid. I could convince Martha to do it, she hadn't beat him yet and i know she'd love to get one over on him. Actually. {Wanna hit the old man with a dragon roar Unison Raid?} {YES!} I snorted at her enthusiasm, and we plotted Ddraig's downfall. A Unison Raid was always easy with Martha. If we had an idea, we could probably get it done the same day. We trusted the other with our lives, we could easily tell what the other felt and sync up, and could get behind the same goal whenever we need too.

We could probably have more Unison Raids then we do now, but Martha wanted Quality over Quantity. We'd probably work on some more now that she had her own dragon form and new magic, which was a thought that i liked. Blowing shit up was always fun. I zoned back in when the doors opened, and in walked Shido... "Ughhh. Again?" He and his bodyguards glared at me, but didn't say anything. I clicked my tongue at that. The bastard ignoring me soured my mood, but i held back. Though i did shift how i stood so i could look down on him. Seeing him seethe made me happier. The ride passed in silence and a tension you could feel in the air, but they left soon enough. I went back to being happy and checking the group-chat. I saw someone send a picture of Ophis sitting on Martha's lap as she ate brownies, and i just closed the group-chat.

I'd let the thoughts of the cute super loli dragon find their way out... {Is she actually a child mentally speaking?} {Hmm? Yes. It's strange. The rational part of my brain and my instincts tell me she could wipe me off the face of the earth if she wanted too. But then my motherly instincts react when she has a milk trail or some crumbs on her face and i find out i'm already wiping it away.} {... That's cute... I know it is... But then i re-hear you admit to her being that strong and i just get confused.} {You're not the only one. Though there are plus sides to this.} {Really? Are there, or are you just trying to rationalize it?} {A bit of both really.} {Uhuh. Well, lay it on me.} {Other then her being a very powerful deterrent, i get scales from one of the strongest dragons in the world for free. I also get a child i like to dress up.} {... You dress up the super loli?} {Of course i do. I managed to put her in a cute Gothic Lolita dress yesterday.}

I almost slammed my head into the wall at that. While yes, the image of Ophis in a Gothic Lolita dress different from her usual one did sound cute, it was again, this fucking super dragon loli that could sneeze us to death. {When the fuck did our lives get so weird?} {When we met a goddess after we died.} {Ah. Yeah, we never had a chance.} {Nope. But i wouldn't have it any other way.} {Damn right.} That conversation done, i walked out of the elevator, and back into my suite. I saw the girls bowing to Rias, who looked far too smug for my liking, and i just walked right passed them and sat on the bed. "So... What the fuck?" The girls looked at me, and then told me what happened. Hearing Rias draw 5 +4's back to back made me blink.

"Rias dear... You're buying us all lottery tickets tomorrow." Rias laughed at that, and we spent the rest of the night enjoying the others company. Though Natsu jumped at me at one point since he seemed to think he wasn't getting enough love. I placated him by promising to go on a run with him after the thieves did their training, and he barked happily. The night passed us by, and we all got together to sleep. Kuroka stripped me again, and i decided to just stop wearing clothes when i slept at that point. I went to sleep realizing our vacation was almost over, and decided to do something special for all of us when the time to leave came. The plan was a simple one, but it hadn't failed me yet. I drifted off to sleep after that.

The next morning played out as it usually did, and after my routine with Boss, we worked with Futaba, talked with her and helping her get used to being outside of her room. We made some ok progress, and eventually my girls and i went to Kichijoji with the thieves after training. We all had a great time, and eventually broke off from there. I took the girls to the Metaverse to blow shit up for some more fun, and Rias and i had finished working out the kinks of our Unison Raids. We only had 3, which includes the squall, but they were good ones. Irina managed to get the drop on Kuroka and drenched her in water, which made the rest of us laugh at both that and Kuroka's retaliation. We had fun the rest of the day, and it passed us by before we knew it.

The rest of the week was just like that, and then the day came. Futaba was ready to go to the beach, and to celebrate her progress, we all gathered in Boss' living room to treat them all to the rating game between Rizer and us. My girls had already seen it, but it was always awesome to see. We all gathered on his couches, Futaba sitting with me, Koneko and Kuroka. Akira sat with Yusuke, Makoto and Mona. And Ann sat with Ryuji, Irina and Rias. I gave Natsu the disk, and he ran over to the DVD player and put the disk in. Devil tech worked with anything, so it didn't matter if Boss had a DVD player or a cassette tape player. With the disk in, Natsu ran back to me, and jumped into my lap. Futaba loved him and the scarf we got him made her dote on him even more. The rest of the thieves looked curious and expectant, since Futaba sent them clips of Fairy Tail Unison Raids, and they wanted to see a real life version.

"Alright guys, we can either skip the first 15 minutes, and get right into the match, or you can all sit through me and Martha bitch at each other for that time until it starts. Whatcha wanna do?" The thieves put it to a vote, and they all agreed they wanted to skip to the start of the match. So with that settled, i skipped to the start, and we all watched as me and Martha started making our way there. "He had loli's with chainsaws? Where did they even get chainsaws from?" "I don't know honey..." She clicked her tongue at that. Wait a minute... "Futaba... Honey... You don't want a magic chainsaw... Do you?" "Of course i do! I could be awesome with a chainsaw!" We all blinked at her, and Koneko nodded. "Chainsaws are cool." Oh gods no. "Your not getting a chainsaw. EITHER of you!" Koneko turned to me, and tried to give me the look, but i turned away before i was ensnared.

I looked at Futaba, and she was trying to copy Koneko. I blinked, and just looked up to the ceiling. "Are they still doing it?" A collective 'yes' later, and i sighed. I looked back down, and i was hit by the double trouble. I had to put my foot down... I HAD too... But i couldn't. I turned to Rias. "Horrible influence." "The best influence." I clicked my tongue at that and looked back to my daughters. "For your birthdays!" "YES!/Yay." "Nyahaha! Haha's biggest weakness prevails once again Nya." I just sighed and put my head in my hands. "Just watch the damn video." A round of chuckles later, and they paid attention. They watched the storm form, and they were interested in Martha's weapon.

"Is that a bardiche? That's a very unique choice of weapon... Interesting." "It's not just a fancy axe?" "Of course it's not Ryuji." "Huh. Ok." Makoto knew what i was, because sure she would, and she turned back to the TV as we all watched. When we got to Rizer's peerage, they started to cheer as i transformed. "Even though we've seen it in person, there's something about seeing it on a screen that increases the satisfaction of your transformation." I saw everyone nod to that. Then when they saw the bolt of lightning hit Martha's bardiche, and saw us fly into the clouds, they watched with bated breath. The recording allowed them to see what was going on in the clouds, so when they saw us start the process to use Kirin, they held their breath. I saw the stars in Ann and Futaba's eyes, and then came the armor. When Martha appeared like a Queen out of a story riding her dragon steed, i saw a fire light itself in Ann's eyes...

Wait a minute, that was Carmen's fire... Huh. Anyway. Futaba looked on amazed, and the rest of the thieves were starstruck. And then it happened. They saw us dive, and shout out our moves name. Futaba looked like she was in Heaven, i thought i saw a spark travel through Ryuji's eyes, and i saw the rest of the thieves take in the explosion that resulted from the impact. "THAT! WAS! AWESOME! CANWEWATCHITAGAINPLEASEPLEASEPLEASE!" My girls and i just laughed at Futaba's enthusiasm, and and i ruffled her hair. "You could keep the copy for later if you want. I could get another one later." Futaba looked like Christmas came early, and squeezed me into a hug. I looked at the others, and i saw Ann look moments away from jumping at me and joining her. The rest of the thieves took it in, and after 20 minutes, we were all done and headed to the beach.

Koneko was up on one of my shoulders, and Futaba was on the other. The rest of the girls were talking on one side and the boys were on the other, and we were all just happily talking about the beach. Boss told me to keep Futaba safe, and i assured him i'd break the bones of anyone that came too close to her. He blinked when i said that, and i heard him mutter 'i guess i'll take it.' Futaba was excited about finally seeing the beach. We all knew she was hiding some of her nervousness, but the rest of us would be there and i really meant the breaking bones comment i said to boss. We were all riding high after the Unison raid recording, and it looked like nothing would bring it down.

We got to the beach, then we split off to get changed. I went in and requipped into the swimsuit i picked for today, a red top and bottom set that i covered with a blue cloth tied to my waist. I looked myself over, and nodded. Swimsuits were hot, i was hot, it was a great combination. The rest of the girls were still changing, or helping Futaba change, and i stood outside. Just to be safe. The guys ended up joining me a minute later, and i saw they appreciated my beauty. Ryuji was a bit affected though, but far less then he would've been normally. Akira just took it in and nodded, while Yusuke just looked at me like an art piece in the making. Mona was the one who liked the sight the most, but he was busy avoiding Natsu to comment on it. "So, what're you guys going to do while we're here?"

"I shall be looking for new inspiration!" "Gonna spend time with Ann." "Take pictures for Sojiro and do whatever comes to me." I nodded at their answers. "What about the girls? I heard Ann mention a banana boat?" "Yup. Ann, Makoto and Futaba have one for themselves. Irina, Koneko and Kuroka have another. Rias is gonna be with me while we sunbathe." The boys didn't look that surprised, though Ryuji looked a little disappointed. Then he perked up, and i turned around. The girls had come out, and i thanked whatever gods were out there that Rias wasn't in a super risque outfit... Then i looked down the line and saw Kuroka... And i felt like i'd have a stroke. She was in a micro g-string that showed off her nipples... And no one, other then Rias, Futaba or Koneko seemed to mind.

"Kuroka...I KNOW that wasn't the one we packed... So where is it?" Kuroka looked at me, and i saw her put on a face of mock confusion. "Nya? What do you mean Haha? I'm clearly wearing the bikini you packed for me. Right girls?" Ann, Makoto and Irina just looked confused but nodded. I looked over to the boys, and they didn't seem to see it either... Then i realized. I turned back to her, and i knew she realized i got it. "You sneaky minx. You put an illusion on it didn't you." It wasn't a question, we both knew i was right. She smirked and started to cackle. The other girls that couldn't see it looked confused though. "What's she wearing then?" Rias decided to answer Ann. "Remember that REALLY nice one i sent to you yesterday? The one i said Tara-onee would dump me into the sea if i wore?" It took the girls a moment, and then they all widened their eyes and blushed like mad.

Futaba didn't really seem to mind, so she obviously saw through the illusion. Koneko was desensitized to nudity, and Rias was jealous. Then i heard the boys choke in surprise, and i saw they were all looking at Kuroka now. Even the girls turned back to see why. They were all looking at Kuroka, and i thought she must've dropped the illusion. She started to cackle even more, and i brought out my spell card again. "Koneko we need THE LOOK! NOW!" Kuroka paused in her cackling, and started running away. "Nyahaha! You'll have to catch me first!" "Kurokaaaa!" I ran after her, and that marked the start of our beach day and 2nd last day here. Kuroka was a great escapist, so she managed to weave around people like it was nothing, and she would laugh like crazy whenever i almost crashed into someone. We kept up our game of dragon and cat for a bit, but i eventually gave in.

"Fine! You can keep it on! Let's just go back to the other girls now please?" Kuroka stopped, and turned to me with a victorious smirk on her face. "Nyahaha, victory is mine Haha!" I sighed at that, and held my hand out for her to grab. She looked at it, and then i saw something gleam in her eyes. I raised a brow at that, and didn't move when she came closer. She came up to me, went behind me, and then jumped on my back. She held herself on my back for a bit, before deciding to move up to my shoulders. I held onto her legs, and she hummed contently. "I see why Shirone likes it up here. Looking down on people is always great! Nyahaha." I laughed at that, and got ready to meet back up with the others. "On-wards my mighty stead! We must look down on all those beneath us Nya!" I laughed again, and we were off.

We met up with the group, and i saw Rias with Mona and Natsu at our stuff. Rias had some shades she pulled out from... Somewhere, and was just relaxing. Kuroka was looking around for Koneko, and hopped off my shoulders when she spotted her. With a shout of 'Shirone!' she went off to the banana boats. Rias and Mona just looked at me when she did, and i shrugged. "Rias, did you bring us enough sunscreen?" She nodded and reached into her bag, and brought some out. "Tara-onee, can you put it on? I'll do yours after." "Sure. And no peeking cat!" Mona looked offended at that. "I'll have you know i'm a gentleman. I'd never fall so low to peek!" Rias and i looked at each other, and shrugged. Rias turned over, and undid the top as i put sunscreen on my hands. I started rubbing the sunscreen on her, and talked.

"So dear, how'd you like the vacation?" She hummed. "It was amazing. I don't remember the last time i went somewhere without my peerage. I got to be me, the otaku, the sister, and the friend. I didn't need to think of the territory, of what some stray or Fallen might do, and i got to relax. I didn't even focus on the youth Devil's gathering." That reminded me of it. "Isn't that in a week or something? I didn't really pay attention when Sona brought it up." She nodded her head. "Yeah. They decided to keep it going and agreed to broadcast it to the other races as a show of good faith. Which is ironic since we're Devils." "What's this gathering about anyway?" "High-class Devils of a generation all gather their peerages, we declare what our goal is as a Devil, and we compete with each other. It's basically our tournament arc."

I snorted at that. Rias liked to use anime analogies in her life now since she wouldn't be wrong. "Cool. Still going with the same goal?" "Of course! I'll make sure house Gremory rises higher and becomes more then 'the house of Lucifer' when i'm done with it!" I smiled at that. Rias had confidence in spades, she even had the power to back it up. I knew this was something she could do, and i supported her from the moment she first told me. I supported her just as much as Martha supported Sona's dream. We believed in our sister's dreams, and looked forward to seeing the day they came true. I finished Rias' legs, and she put her top back on as i laid down on the recliner and took mine off. "Nee Tara-onee, what about yours?" I hummed as i thought about it. I knew what i wanted from this life, i always did. "I want to be there for my family. To protect them. To watch them grow. I want to be there in their happiest moments, their worst, i want to be there for it all. I'll be there and make sure they live their lives to the fullest. If anyone gets in the way of that, i'll blow em straight to hell."

I always knew that was what i wanted. Ever since i died, and saw Maria live her life, the desire to be there for it only grew. When we were reborn and lived with mom, got to know her and our grandparents, it kept growing. Then Rias, Koneko and the rest of the peerages came into my life, and that desire never stopped growing. I was protective of them all. Being part of my hoard and family made my dragon instincts resonate with my desire, and i grew protective of them. When we were attacked, my body and mind knew what i wanted and needed to do before i could put my thoughts together. After Futaba and Kuroka became my daughters, even if Futaba might not see me that way, my desires just kept growing. I would be there for them all, and nothing would get in my way.

I felt Rias rub the sunscreen on me gentler then before, and i heard her hum happily. Mona just listened in, and Natsu kept playing in the sand. Rias finished, and she laid on the recliner next to mine. We laid there, just taking in the sun and watching the girls on their boats. After they were done, i tracked where Futaba and Koneko went, and watched Kuroka follow after them. Ann went to meet up with Ryuji, and Irina followed Makoto as they met up with Akira and Yusuke... Who was holding lobsters? When the fuck? "Rias... Am i high or something?" She turned to me, confused about why i said that. And i saw her and Mona turn to where i was looking. There were too many people in Mona's way, but Rias saw it. She blinked, furrowed her brows, and wiped her eyes. When she opened them back up, and saw the same thing, she just stared.

"What? What is it? Someone tell me!" I looked at Mona, and back at Yusuke. "Ummm... Yusuke is holding lobsters... One in each hand... And Makoto looks like she's going to have a stroke. Akira's just watching the situation... He's totally missing out on a video moment right there but he's too far for me to point that out... Oh wait, Irina's got it covered." Mona just looked at me like i was crazy, but then someone in-front of him moved, and he saw it. He looked so confused, and he joined him. Natsu just buried himself further into the sand, not caring about our confusion at all. I decided to look at something else, and watched my daughters. Kuroka was teasing a group of some guys, and i saw some guys from another group start to walk over to Futaba and Koneko. I narrowed my eyes, and turned into a bolt of lightning as i appeared behind them. I was pretty sure i was in the clear to do so, but Rias was there just in case.

The lead guy was about to say something, but i put a hand on his shoulder, and i applied a tiny amount of pressure. That made him and the other 2 guys with him to turn. When they saw me, at the very least half a foot taller then the tallest of their group, clearly built and a step away from glaring, they froze. "My daughters are a little young for you boys, wouldn't you agree?" One of em looked like he was going to say something, but i just looked at him, and he backed off. The group scattered, and i scoffed at them as i walked up to Futaba and Koneko. "Man, when can i learn that? Who needs social anxiety if you can scare someone by looking at them." I laughed at that, and Koneko chuckled. "Too small to be scary. Okaasan is scary without it." "Oh yeah? I don't see you scaring people away kitty!" "I can do it." "Prove it!" And then Koneko tried just that.

She walked over to the group Kuroka was teasing, and tried to scare them away. She failed. It didn't even matter that Kuroka stuffed her in-between her bust, the group wasn't scared at all. Futaba burst out laughing, and Koneko just deflated. Kuroka just rubbed Koneko's head to help her feel better, and i just watched it all happen. This was nice. Kuroka dragged Koneko back over to me and Futaba, and we talked as we walked down the beach. "Hey Tara... Did you mean to call me your daughter?" "Hm? Of course i did honey. Was it too much?" Futaba just seemed to think about it as we walked, and she talked about a minute later. "I don't know. I'm comfortable around you. Like REALLY comfortable. It's easy to feel safe when you've got a dragon that looks and sounds like Erza Scarlet by your side. But i can tell you care. Sojiro cares, i know that. He's done everything for me, and i love him back as much as he does me. But it's weird... I've known you for like... A month. And i can tell you really really care... And it's weird because i can tell i care too.

You came into my life and then BOOM, i have someone like mom again. You talk like really talk to me and buy me stuff i want, you hold me when i need it, and your hugs make it feel like mom's holding me again. I feel warm and happy when you're there, and i don't get worried about talking to people. Even when those guys came up earlier, i didn't feel nervous because suddenly you show up and i'm safe before i know it. You helped me remember what my mom was really like, and you helped me tell her i loved her. I know i owe it to the rest of the team, and i'll work on making it up to them, but i have to make it up to you too. And mom even asked you to take care of me... I don't even think she'd mind if i called you mom either... But i need to build up to that. I know it's something i could do, but maybe after some more time. Though i could always call you mama or something... That sounds nice. Mama Tara. My own dragon mama. Hmm..." The sisters and i listened in as Futaba spoke, and i saw Koneko nodding.

"Okaasan does that. Suddenly comes in and makes us feel safe. We know Okaasan loves us. That there's nothing that'd keep her from protecting us. It's dangerous for anyone that hurts us. She might go blow them up if they did." "That was one time sweetie!" "Still did it. Proves my point." I huffed at that, and it surprised Futaba. "What? What happened?" Koneko and Kuroka both looked at me, and wouldn't explain, so i had too. "The church fucked with one of our friends... And i blew up one of their archives with a roar." Futaba just blinked at that. I saw her think for a bit, then she clapped her hands together. "I read about that! It was so weird at the time. 'An explosion of unknown origins, suspected terrorist group strikes at the church!' It just screamed cover up, but i didn't really feel like digging into the church. Mystery solved now." I just nodded my head at that. Then i had a thought. I looked at Kuroka, and then at Futaba.

"You know... out of the four of us, three of us are technically terrorists." Kuroka and Futaba took that in, and Kuroka laughed. "Nyahaha! Haha's right!" Futaba just looked at Kuroka, wonder, for some reason, in her eyes. "What'd you do?!" Kuroka talked with her, and Koneko and i just watched from the sidelines. "Why do i feel like i did something wrong?" Koneko just looked at me, and climbed onto my shoulder. "Okaasan is fine. You're not crazy." But... "I never said was crazy though?" "Oh... Okaasan is still not crazy." "Thanks..?" "YOU HAVE A SUPER LOLI?!" Ah, they got to Ophis and how she lives with us now. I sighed, and Koneko snickered at my suffering. "I'll show you a picture of her later honey." "Yes! And i want to see the trap too!" "Yes honey... I'll be sure to send you pictures of Gasper later too." Futaba just ran up to me and hugged me. Kuroka laughed at the whole thing, and we kept walking. Kuroka and Futaba eventually did a rock-paper-scissors match to get my other shoulder, and Futaba won. After praising her 'luck stats' she was on my other shoulder while Kuroka sadly walked next to me.

We met up with the rest of the thieves, and we all spent time together as a massive group. Futaba spoke with them, and she ended up with her name of Oracle. We spent some more time at the beach, and i made an announcement. "Since we'll be leaving tomorrow, i decided on a surprise for all of you. So be sure you wake up early! Like, before the sun is up early! Meet us at the park, and you guy's will get your surprise." The thieves were surprised, but they all agreed. We all broke off, but my girls and i had gotten ready to do what Rias and i wanted to do earlier. We took Futaba with us when we broke off, and planned a trip to Akihabara. I requipped into my 'Flame Empress Armor' and waited for the girls. While i did, i thought about this set and my 'Black Wing Armor.' I already had wings, and i didn't really need the armors with them on them. But when i was playing with them in the metaverse, i found i could use both my wings and the armors to fly.

It was a weird experience. I was used to flying with only a single pair of wings, but i instinctively knew how to use the others. Flying with all 4 of them was a weird but pleasant sensation. I got used to it during the time Futaba was still asleep, and i could fly just as smoothly with just them or with both pairs. I zoned back into my thoughts when the rest of the girls came out. Futaba was dressed as an inkling, gun and everything. Kuroka was the cat-girl from the Monogatari series, Rias was Mio from Testament New Sister Devil, Irina was dressed as a genderbent Shirou from Fate, and Koneko was dressed as Jack the ripper, also from Fate. I looked at them, and went over to Kuroka to whisper in her ear. "Is it ok to give her hope like that?" Kuroka snorted and broke out laughing. I saw Koneko blink, then narrow her eyes at us. "What did you say Okaasan?" "Nothing sweetie. Nothing at all." She still looked suspicious, but Rias and Futaba looked like they got it. Irina didn't but that was fine.

We walked to Akihabara, and talked as we did. Futaba tried to guess what i had planned for them, but no one told her, and i smiled as she kept trying to guess. We made it to Akihabara, and Futaba gushed like a kid in an all you could eat candy shop. She and Rias went crazy looking at merch and going into conversation about the best kind of merch to get or their favorites. Irina wandered off somewhere when we passed the movie section, probably looking for the One Piece movie we didn't have and that she'd been looking for, and i walked with Koneko and Kuroka. They loved looking at other types of cat-girls, and Kuroka especially loved Blake from RWBY. Which shouldn't have been a surprise. Blake was pretty much Kuroka with a smaller bust, and kept her sexual side confined to smutty books. A promise to buy her a Blake cosplay, buying Koneko a figure of another one of those Volge-something mechs and asking Martha if she could make a copy off Blake's weapons later, we all walked out of the store.

Irina had gotten the movie, Futaba and Rias both had a bag of merch, and my cat-girl daughters were appeased. We walked around some more, and eventually went to the convention center. Futaba loved the place, and we went from there. Rias grabbed Futaba again, and Irina went with Kuroka to explore. Koneko and i walked around, and saw the Fairy Tail crew again. They had a Wendy this time, and we all walked together. The Erza fan was wearing 'armor' that looked like it was from after the Second Origin event, and the rest of them looked the same. The Wendy cosplayer hit it off with Koneko, and it was adorable. I even brought out Natsu, and had the group take pictures with us. We walked around some more, and eventually broke off. Koneko kept the Wendy girls number, and i kept the Erza fans number. A while later, we met back up, and i found out Rias got Futaba a tattoo. Futaba got the Fairy Tail emblem just below her collarbone in orange, and i thought Boss might kill me.

I decided it'd be a future me problem, and focused on having fun with my girls. We went to a booth about an anime with this cool looking gangster that had a stand but not a stand, something called an 'Astral Double.' I decided to look for the guys series and read it later. We had fun, and Futaba ended up with a bunch of new stuff, which i carried for her, and we started making our way back. We changed back in our suite, and walked Futaba back home. I made sure Boss didn't see me, and booked back to the suite after i gave Futaba a hug. When we were back, the girls and i took a group bath, and made our way to bed. The day was great, and we all ended up going to sleep easily.

I woke up early, and accepted this would be the last day with the thieves. I put aside the thought that i'd surprise them by dropping in once a week, and just got up to get ready. The girls were still a little tired, but they ended up waking up fine. We all got dressed, and we made our way to the park. When we got there, we saw the Thieves in our usual training spot, and i greeted them. "Yo! Fancy seeing you guys here." My girls just scoffed, and the thieves just deadpanned at me. Still clearly tired. "Tara-chan, you told us to be here!" I smiled at Ann. "Yes i did. Now then, you guys ready for your surprise?" A chorus of 'yeahs' later, and i smiled. I stepped back into a clearing, and took out my harness. I threw it up into the air, and i saw the thieves eyes widen. I transformed, and let my harness attach to me. When it was done, i spread my wings, and lowered myself to the ground.

"All aboard Tara Sakura airlines! We will be taking off in moments." The thieves were stunned, but Futaba squealed and ran up to me. She climbed the steps of my harness, and my girls joined her. "We seem to be 7 passengers short. Last call, Tara Sakura airlines will be departing in minutes, all aboard!" That snapped them out of it, and they ran over to climb on. After they were on, i made sure the seats and seat-belts my harness made for them was secure, then i flapped my wings. "We will be taking off in moments, be sure to have your phones and other belongings secure during the flight. Tara Sakura airlines takes no responsibility to broken or lost belongings." I heard Rias laugh when she noticed what i was doing, and i smiled. "However, you're all free to record this if you want." And with that said, i started to fly. I went slowly, since they may have ridden on my back before, but that was in the metaverse, i had to be extra careful with all of the thieves.

I flew up higher and higher, and i could hear them all express their surprise and excitement as i did. Then we flew above the clouds, and i heard the gasps of astonishment. I'd never gotten the chance to do this for Rias, Koneko or Kuroka, so they were just as stunned at the sight. I knew Ann had taken her phone out to record a bit after i started to fly, and Rias was doing the same, so i could just ask either of them for their videos later. For now, i just let them all take it in. I'd REALLY need to thank Asia for this idea later. We watched the sun rise, and i could tell all the thieves loved it. After a few more minutes, it was time to come back down. "Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. Your flight will be landing soon." Collective groans, and whines were my answer, but i just laughed as i started to fly down.

I landed back at the clearing, and they disembarked. With them all off, i turned back and put my harness away. As soon as i did that, i was hugged by Ann, Rias, Makoto, Futaba, Koneko, Kuroka and Irina. It was sudden, but i soaked in the group hug, which the boys joined in, and let it happen. After we broke out of that, and all went to get a big breakfast at the Wilton. It was our last day here, so of course i would treat them all. After that was done, we broke off, and the girls and i went to pack our things. We didn't need long, but we spent some of that time just talking about the vacation, the reveal, which Kuroka was told about since no one brought it up while we were here, and went from there. When we were done with all of that, Rias thought it'd be funny if she made everything look like a mountain of suitcases, her wardrobe, and boxes of our merch. Said it was 'the Erza experience' and i rolled my eyes at her. I still dragged it behind me though. For today, we settled on teleporting to Boss' place, and i left my mini mountain of stuff outside.

I walked up to the door, and opened it. "The Queen and her envoys will be returning home this day, but we've decided to grace you with our presence nonetheless!" Boss just looked at me and smiled. "So today's the day huh. I'm gonna miss having you around kid. You've been good for business." I laughed at that, and joined him and Akira at the counter. My girls went to a booth, and we talked. "Just business? For shame Bossman, am i just a fat stack of cash to you?" I put on the best mock hurt face i could, and put a hand to my heart for added affect. He laughed at that and shook his head. "No, we all know you're not. You've been a great customer and friend to Futaba and the kid. Hell, i might end up calling you friend sometime. Though i will need to talk with you about letting Futaba get a tattoo." I coughed into my hand, and turned to Rias.

"Yeah Rias. Do you have anything to say to the good Bossman?" She just started whistling and refused to meet my gaze. The rest of the girls and Akira laughed at that, and Boss chuckled. "Eh, she's happy so i'll let it slide. Anyway, let me start your orders. They'll be on the house today." The girls and i all cheered in joy, and our morning went from there. We talked, Futaba came in later and gave me a hug before she sat next to me, and we just enjoyed our morning. The rest of the thieves came in later, and we all ended up going for another session of training. I had our luggage behind me as we made our way back to the park, and helped them train. When the training session was over, we all grouped up again, and knew it was time to say goodbye. The girls of the thieves hugged me and said their goodbye's, did the same for the rest of my girls, and the guys shook my hand.

When it was all done, i gave Futaba a big hug, and let her go as i looked at Akira. "She'll be in your care Akira. I expect her to stay in one piece." He smiled and nodded at me. "We'll keep her safe for you, i'll make sure of it." I smiled at him. "Good." I held my hand out for him again, and he took it. "The time we spent was great. I'll be looking forward to what else you guys do, you better stay safe and show me how much you've improved the next time i see you Akira." I didn't tell him i'd be dropping in weekly, seeing his surprised face would be great. He smirked at me though, and it was a very Joker like smile. "I'll make sure to surprise you the next time we meet. This really has been an amazing month. Now if only you don't make us question everything we knew next time we met." I laughed at that, and he joined me. And it was while we laughed that i felt and heard it.

We kept laughing, and i decided i'd ask him about the gains later. We finished laughing, and broke off. My girls and i faced the thieves, and i looked at them all. "If any of you need me, i'll come flying. Don't be afraid to point me at something you need blown to hell. Other then that, you know how to reach us." They all smiled, and made promises to do so. I smiled, threw my harness up into the air, and transformed. When my girls were ready, i smiled and made sure it was safe to do so, finding Tae to be in the area and just looking on from out of the thieves sight, and i smirked. I flared my wings out, raised my head to the sky, and roared. The thieves took it in, and i flapped my wings as i took to the sky. Leaving Tae to Akira and the rest of them was amusing to me. The rest of my girls saw Tae when i got high enough, and we all laughed at the coming confrontation. But other then that, we were excited to go home.

{Akira's POV}

Akira started his day way earlier then usual, which Morgana didn't object too for once. He knew it'd be the day Tara and her family left, and was interested in what her surprise would be. But out of anything he could've guessed, being given front row seats to the rising sum on the back of a dragon was not one of them. But he and his thieves took in that sight, and he etched it into his memory. [Not even the most brilliant of jewels could compare to this. Mademoiselle Tara truly is a woman of fine taste.] Akira couldn't help but agree. Ann had started recording the whole thing a while ago, and he knew he'd have to ask for a copy. He wouldn't be surprised if they all did. This may have become a memory they'd never forget. Him and his team were disappointed when she ended the flight, but they were all in love with what they saw. Yusuke had even proclaimed he'd work his hardest to create something he hoped would come close to what they'd just seen.

They broke off after that, and they started their days from there... Except Futaba. She went to sleep. Ann and Ryuji went on a date, Makoto decided to go to the cafe they studied at on occasion, Yusuke was off to paint, and Akira took Morgana with him to Shibuya. After a while, and they all gathered back in Leblanc before they would see Tara off. Akira thought of everything Tara had done for them while she was here, and knew Tara had made their lives all the better. After their daily training session, it was time. They all said the goodbye's, and Tara brought her hand out for him again. He shook it, and they had a good laugh. And after hearing the final rank of Tara's confidant come up, Akira just laughed all the happier.

Seeing Tara transform again and hearing her roar would always fill him with happiness solely due to Tara being a cool ass dragon. As they flew off, he looked at her final abilities and the persona that came with it, and he smiled.

Akira didn't know why 'King' was in quotes, but he'd find out later. The thieves watched as Tara flew away, and the talked. "This was the best month of my life." The other thieves agreed with Futaba. They spoke and were about to split up, but then Akira heard something that sent a chill down his spine. "Well well well, looks like you've got some explaining to do Guinea pig." The thieves all turned around, and saw Tae standing there looking at him. Akira looked to Ryuji, and saw his best-friend run. He turned to Ann and saw she split with Ryuji. He turned to Yusuke and saw him walking away without a care in the world. Makoto actually gave him a glance, and ran as well. Akira finally looked down to Morgana, and the cat looked at him, and ran back to Leblanc with Futaba in tow. "Traitors! All of you!" Tae watched it all happen, and Akira heard her chuckle. He looked up, and saw the grin on her face. "We are going to have a nice and LONG talk about this." Akira gulped, and knew he was in for it now. If only a small part of him wasn't excited about the way she said it and the look in her eye.
