"Is it that important?" asked Sam in an amazed voice when she nodded her head with all seriousness.

"Of course! Have you heard that in our empire women did not have equal rights?" she asked when Sam nodded and so as Freya.

She knew it best, she should have her own home and her own money but thanks to the rules of their system, she could not even have a house in her name.

She needed a husband for that! 

"The properties are only owned by men. If the woman wanted to live alone, she would not be able to survive since the property of her father was only given to his son or her husband." she said in a bitter tone when Ren nodded her head.

"Yes, but women did not feel that they were treated badly. They only think that it was a way to protect them. They did not do business because they thought that they could not do it." she scoffed as if it was a joke.
