Titan Junior

Titan laid on his bed with his eyes closed. His fever was gone but he still had his eyes shut. King George was seated beside his bed while Queen Mica sat on his bed with his head on her thigh; both looking lethargic.

"His fever is completely gone so why is he still laying lifeless on the bed? It has been three days now; I honestly think its time we call the imperial doctor. We can't just watch our baby remain like this." Queen Mica was getting restless with every passing minute.

The king remained silent for a while. He knew that his wife was right; even he was scared, He had never seen anyone sleeping for three whole days. This was truly abnormal. Finally, he spoke.

"Mmmm you're right. You go to your chambers and freshen up while I send for the imperial doctor." he placed his hand on her cheek and worriedly spoke, "You look exhausted. You should get some sleep; I'll notify you once the doctor arrives and as for Titan, I'll have Maria come look after him for a while."

The queen was about to retort but he placed his index finger on her lips and declared, "Don't argue with me. Its enough that I'm already sending the imperial doctor here. I wouldn't want him to have to treat you too."

Queen Mica who was caught off guard at first could not help but smile. She felt like teasing him a little bit but now wasn't the time. She nodded and stood up to take her leave.

"Good girl." King George smiled. The queen squinted her eyes and retored "Who's the good girl? Quit making such comments especially in front of our little Titan. I'm not a girl. I'm a full grown woman with a child that's eight years old. If I'm a girl, then you're an infant. Humm!" With that she left leaving the king speechless.

He turned to look at Titan and pouted "Titan is not even awake. Why's she behaving as if she's in that time of the month?" He immediately slapped himself. "Don't have such consequential thoughts." He leaned closer and perked Titan before leaving the room.

Few moments after he left, Titan furrowed his brow. He was hearing noises in his head, it sounded distant but in a few minutes, the voice began to draw nearer. He opened his eyes but he was not awake. As though being controlled by a force, he began to walk out of his room. Thankfully it was lunch time and all the guards were gathered in the guard hall.

He continued walking for twenty minutes; his legs looked like they were hurting but he couldn't feel it as he was still unconscious. With every step, the voice became even more audible. Apparently the voice was calling his name. "TITAN...TITAN..."

When he got to an abandoned store room in the palace, the door was open. He walked in and headed straight in a specific direction. He reached out and grabbed a tiny box which was locked. Still in a daze, he heard the voice again. "AMULET." Titan subconsciously removed the amulet from his neck and placed it on the box. Immediately the amulet touched the box, a bright light emanated from it; a light so bright that could blind any living being.

When the light came to his sight he didn't flinch instead of closing his eyes, he widened it. After a while, the light deemed and the content of the box was a strange looking ore that looked worthless. He stretched his hand out to touch but was dragged back to reality from an excruciating pain.

Now he was back to his senses, but the pain from his finger tip and the bottom of his feet still lingered so he took a look only to discover that there was a drop of blood on his finger looking like a needle had pierced it and he wondered how such a little wound could cause such pain. He looked around after he felt a bit better and wondered what he was doing here. As he continued looking, his eyes fell on the box in front of him with a worthless ore in it. he looked at it with intense inquiring gaze wondered what it was and why he was holding it. He stretched his hands and touched it but immediately his hand came in contact with the ore, it transformed into a string then rolled up his upper arm, coiled into an astonishing bracelet and stocked itself in place. It happened so quick that he could not react at all. He was so frightened and wanted to scream but he could utter a word; not even a whisper.

##Twenty five minutes ago.

When Maria got to Titan's room, he was no where to be found. She searched his bathroom and his dressing room but still couldn't get a glimpse of him. Panicking, she ran to the Queen's chambers. The guards initially stopped her because the queen was taking a nap but when she explained the reason for her visit, even the guards panicked.

One of the guards let her through while the other sought the king. If only the prince was awake this wouldn't be too much of an issue but this..., this could be a serious issue. If the prince of the Lynx clan had disappeared in his subconscious state, then this could be the plot of an enemy clan.

The king who was in his study was informed about the princes' disappearance and soon, everyone was out looking for prince Titan.

##In the storage room Titan tried to get the bracelet off his arm but it remained glued to his arm as though it had become a part of his body. Suddenly voices from outside the storage room was heard. "Titan where are you?" It was the voice of the queen. He immediately drew his sleeves down, picked up his amulet and placed it over his neck then walked out of the storage room and headed towards his mother's direction. Seeing her little baby in front of her looking full of life, she crouched to his level and hugged him in a tight embrace. "you had me worried... I thought we were going to loose you."

"..."

Titan looked up at her and blinked twice. 'Lose me? How?' He wondered then placed his tiny hands on her face and cleaned her tears that were about to fall. Queen Mica chuckled seeing this sweet gesture of his. She immediately sobered up and stood straight. "Let's go back now before anyone sees you like this. Your father is about to bring the entire kingdom down in search of you." She sarcastically spoke which caused Titan to smile.

Did she see wrong? Did he just smile? Crouching to his level again, she smiled her widest smile. You should smile more often you look cuter that way.

"..."

'Am I not cute anyway?' He wondered but then nodded. They went back into the palace and informed the king to alleviate his worries. The king who had a cold expression and looked like he had put on a mask of horror stiffened when he saw his Titan approaching with his tiny hands locked in his mother's. His cold expression softened as he held Titan in his arms. He began to ask multiple questions not giving room for Titan to answer even one. "Where did you go? Are you hurt? Father was scared you know? How are you feeling now? Did...."

"Cough.. Cough.. Ummm... He only got here and you're already feeding him with a thousand questions." the queen retorted sarcastically cutting him short.

The king smiled awkwardly 'this was Titan they were talking about'. You could mess with him but not his baby.

"Alright then, we should get you to your room. You must be famished, let's get you something to eat. I also have a good news to share with you and your father. Titan looked up at his mother and signed "I know" to her." you do? What do you know sweetheart she asked lovingly and Titan gentle reached out his hand and touch her tommy. The queen and king were flabbergasted as the king inquired in anxiety "is it true?" The Queen who remained in awe of how her Titan knew, nodded her head in acknowledgment to the king. The joy in the kings heart was beyond comprehension as they made their way through the hall and slowly disappeared from sight.

## Fourty five minutes ago at the hidden Shaolin temple, Zagan was in his room meditating with master Shi De when his amulet brought forth an eye blinding light.
