As both of them began to turn towards the fiend that gazed at them with its crimson eye, they could both see that the fiend stood still.

The fog began to dissipate and their surroundings became clearer.

What they saw was nothing sort of a horrific sight. 

Their camp was littered with the dead bodies of their fellow members, blood and flash everywhere.

It was just the two of them left as no one was alive from the once biggest gang in Dein that was no longer.

The invisible threads were visible to both of them quite clearly as it was stained to a crimson color by the blood of their fellows. 

As the fiend gazed at them in silence, that silence was prominent across the whole of the camp, not even a single sound could be heard except the light dripping of the blood from the strings.
