153. Revenge of the dead.
Jake Frank watched in the news as a skeleton rampaged through the United States, trying to reach somebody. Jake remembered yesterday. He went through hell after he kissed that girl. Most of it was a blur, except for some things. The dead homeless man rising from the dead, the entity he met within his mind, and the blood ritual that the entity had taught him were the only things he could remember from that day.
Only now did he realize that it had really happened. The undead creature he had conjured was running around the United States of America and collecting its debts. Jake Frank had just killed a man in a roundabout manner.
He searched his heart for any guilt or sympathy. He could find none. The homeless undead creature was clearing up its grudges. If it hadn't been wronged, it wouldn't have attacked. Those monsters over at the Pardue pharmacy had killed themselves in a roundabout way.
