Disappearing

When I saw him staring at me with his puppy eyes filled with hope I didn't know what to do so I started walking to the other direction, I didn't look back, I keep on walking I can hear him yelling my name.As I have my coffee on one hand and other shopping bags on other I couldn't run..... otherwise I would have reached home by the time...

I am not facing him because he did something terrible or I'm afraid of him. Its because I dont know what will he say about it and its already weird enough.

" Eveline Stop..!! " James said by panting in front of me."

I didn't reply anything, Its not fair it would be rude So I said " Ohk"

" Are you kidding me? I was fucking worried about you Eve "

" I overslept and also my phone was on silent "

" Fine, did you not at all saw my missed call?? "

" Now say " why are you avoiding me ? "

" I m not avoiding you, I was just busy " I said but in my mind Im definitely avoiding you.

" Ohk, busy buying coffee and going shopping ??"

" No James, I am not busy and Iam avoiding you because I have no idea what to tell you or what to talk its so weird and after what happened yesterday it was so hard to process it "

" What happened yesterday " James asked confused raising one of him eyebrows.
