Ethan

Demyan had been asleep for the entire day. Everyone had gone out to grab a quick bite to eat but I ended up quickly going to the nearest hotel to take a shower, change into fresh clothes and even though my body hated me for it, I grabbed quick fast food and ate in the car.

I had no energy to go with Uncle Ed and the rest of the family. I did not feel like talking to anyone nor did I want to pretend like everything would be okay when I knew it would not be. Demyan waking up would not solve all of our problems. We had too much going on and no amount of 'I love you's would fix it.

Pa had called me to ask me if he should drive over but I asked him not too. I knew if both parents were here, our relationship would be discussed and that would either end in an argument or feeling some sort of rejection.
