This Complicated

Demyan

I was grateful I had taken my toiletries and a change of clothes with me last night so that when I woke up all I had to do was go straight to the guest bathroom, shower, brush my teeth and I was good to go.

In normal circumstances, Ethan and I would have made breakfast together all loved up and shit, but not today. Today I was my own man and I was not going to bow down to him anymore. He would have to put in more effort to keep me around and currently I had bigger things on my mind like figuring out how and when I was going to tell Malia the truth.

When I left the bedroom I heard some clunking from the kitchen. I had to take a deep breath to prepare myself before I continued to walk. Ethan was at the island dressed in a white button up shirt, beige trousers with a black belt and formal shoes. It seemed like he would be going into the office today as I saw his black blazer hanging off the back of an island chair.
