Oh I'm Sorry

Demyan

I squatted down as I tried to reach for the wooden spoon that had fallen. It felt like I was about to pop my spine out as I huffed imagining that my fingers would suddenly become longer to reach for it. I knew I could do it, I knew this used to be easier five months ago but now it felt equivalent to climbing Mount Everest.

"And what in the world do you think you are doing?" Malia came running to me, helped me up then quickly grabbed the spoon. "If you need help you should call one of us Demy, you look like you're about to explode."

I gave her a mini glare before I waddled my way to the kitchen nook. I tried to slip onto the bench but the space between the table and bench were so small that my stomach could not even bridge through. My chuckle started out as just that but before I knew I was into full sobs.

"What's wrong?" Grandpa Cam came into the kitchen and smiled when he saw me, "What a miserable image."
