Bjorn's time on this earth was coming to an end. He could feel it in his bones, in the weariness that seemed to seep into every fiber of his being.
As he sat by the river, watching the sun set behind the trees, Bjorn felt a sense of peace wash over him. He had lived a full life, a life filled with purpose and meaning.
He thought back on all he had accomplished, on all the lives he had touched and the battles he had fought. And he knew that he had made a difference.
Ava came to sit beside him, her eyes shining with tears. "I'll miss you, Bjorn," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Bjorn smiled, his eyes filled with warmth. "I'll always be with you, Ava," he said. "In here." He pointed to her heart.
Ava nodded, understanding. She knew that Bjorn's legacy would live on through her, that she would continue his work and keep the power of the Heart safe from those who would misuse it.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, Bjorn closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He felt the power of the Heart surging through him one last time, and then it was gone.
Ava wept, holding Bjorn's hand in hers. But as she looked at his peaceful face, she knew that he was finally at rest.
The legacy of the Ancients was in good hands, and Bjorn's spirit would live on forever.
