"You seem to be living quite nicely," remarked Mrs Harlow while looking around the apartment.
She walked inside with her arms crossed in front as she flicked one long finger and skimmed it over the oak cabinet, and her eyes flashed.
Ari did not reply, instead, she walked to the living room and took off her jacket and turned to look at Mrs Harlow.
She questioned, "Are you here to apologize?"
"Apologize?" Mrs Harlow's voice raised a notch as she turned her head and looked at Ari. With a mocking sneer, she asked, "Why will I apologize?"
"I don't know. Maybe about dumping your debts on my head? That will be a good start," Ari shot back, stripping Mrs Harlow's ability to speak.
The woman stared at her daughter, who was speaking to her as if she had eaten explosives with wide eyes.
