Chapter 15 The Big Day

Well as you know now I have gave my life to the man up stairs. Now things don't bother me as much as it would have long time ago. The day has come for my best friend to get married. But before I go there I'm going to tell you'll about the events that went down before she walk to say I do in front of her family.

Erica what's your plan for today ask Karen. Oh nothing just left church heading home. Oh ok well we need to meet up so you can get fitted for your tuxedo. OK I'll get my bruh to drop me off to you. OK Erica I'll be out there waiting on you to get here.

I walk to Karen car I get a phone call from lyrical aka Lil Fred. What's up little sis? Nothing chilling about to get fitted for my tuxedo. Oh for real we on our way so we can get fitted. I get a call I'm outside sis from Lil Fred. We head outside to meet up with them to get them fitted for their tuxedo and dress. They getting fitted for their things for the wedding I step outside to answer a call I received. Hey bae how are you doing? I took the phone down in look to see who it was in it didn't have a name. I go back in we finish up all the fittings. We apart separate ways to head to our houses. Soon as I got home I was relaxing in chilling, until I got a call from my bruh Lil Fred.

The day after all that went down I went in found out he was messing with little kids when he was younger. I was mad surprised but I know the two that told me about it wasn't lying. They raised him after they took him from his nasty ass mama. I never thought Lil Fred was like that until they told me. I get a phone call from my doctor saying I needed to come in. I go in to find out I had to go get a procedure done. I call up Karen in told her what was up. Karen take Lil Fred and Jamie out your wedding. Why should I? Erica, because he don't need to be in your wedding or round kids. Speak to me Erica what's going on? I said what I said so it's other me or them in your wedding. OK they out I would never choose them over you says Karen even doe I know it was a lie. So as the day's get closer we excited we ready to be in the wedding. So something in my spirit saying something not right.

I call Karen up. Hey Karen I have a question. Yeah what is it Erica. Is they still in the wedding? Yeah they are because I couldn't find nobody to replace them. I didn't say that I'm just not going to be in your wedding. I hung up the phone in never spoke to Karen after that argument. Her big day came in we saw her pictures an stuff from the wedding. I told big red look I thank God for him waking me up from being blind sided by people that wasn't real with me. Erica you know that was a sign from the Lord upstairs. Yeah I know big red. I sat in thought to myself, big red is right the Lord stop me from doing something stupid that could of cost me my freedom.

As the day ended I was thinking to myself was it worth it? How did I let the devil come in mess up my joy? In as I lay I was like wow everybody not your friends or your bruh or sis people play fake all year round. But how could I let this hinder me. I would never know but he really showed me who my real friends are in my ride through this storm that's coming.
