EPOS: from rags to godhood

Hi. The author here. This is a based of a world I have been creating for a long time. Gonna publish at least 3000-4000 words a week so be expecting 2-3 updates a week at first at least. I know my writing is the weakest part of my novel, but I am extremely happy to get criticism since I want to improve on the parts I am lacking so if you find a grammar mistake can you tell me what mistake and where? It might be a one I didn't just spot or is just a mistake I have been repeating a lot. Thank you all

The background of the story is pretty interesting, I didn't expect that. It change from the usual novel with basic background so it's quite refreshing to say the least. The writing is pretty good and easy to understand. The grammar is probably the sole problem but it's something that you improve overtime so that's okay. Anyway good job author :).

The story progression builds on classic 'Divine powers' system. And the setting of the main character is done pretty soon into the chapters. There are a few grammatical errors which break immersion of reading a bit, but other than that it is a promising story.

In my opinion, the cover and the title are a little bit plain and the prologue is too short and didn't hook me quite much. I saw similar things like this before, about the adventure from the weak being to the god-like being or stuff. I read five chapters, I could say the writing style is quite nice, the character Rufus is really great. The plot and the setting of the world are quite decent. Keep up writing, author. You did great so far.

A story of someone rising from nothing to the top. It's been done before, but this is a unique take on it. A world full of gods and people able to manipulate reality itself is a daunting one, yet the protagonist is still intent on using what little he has to rise in it. This is not a light story, it is definitely on the darker side; you'll learn that quickly when reading. This world is unforgiving for the protagonist, and we ge tto witness him overcome these obstacles in order to do what the title proclaims: rise from rags to godhood. Check this one out if you like progression fantasy, magical systems, stories with a divinity, and even darkness.

Simple and straight to the point. Characters and their personalities are shown well via interactions, and the overall direction is clear. Some grammar could be checked again, like maybe the tense, or certain things can be just said as it is and not stretched out too far. Pacing for the story starts off well but there are moments were it's too fast, and may need build up for key moments like events and character development. Recommended for readers who enjoy an action packed adventure with an MC who clearly wants to rise in strength.

We've got here a story that involves our MC going from weak to strong. Like the author had said and is acknowledging in his comment, the grammar part is still a bit off, but it's nothing really noticeable. As on WN you need to update constantly, it's common for us, authors, to make a few mistakes, here and there. The premise of the story sounds interesting, and I do love that the author uses the prologue to present to us exactly what kind of world is the MC going to be into. Great job!

I usually don't really like character like Rufus, but the author does describe this one really well and I find this great. The other characters are well written too, and they are really likeable. The writing quality is not great but pretty good. the story is really interresting and with a good updating stability, I will follow this one ! Keep up the good work !

A fascinating, well written novel. Very engaging with just enough of everything from violence to emotional growth to keep the readers invested. An inspirational action packed novel very much worth reading. From review swap.

I like the setting of this world. I've always liked grim, insecure settings with gangs, violence, and crime, and this novel delivers all of them. The characters are likable and their personalities and relationships with one another feel organic and natural, which is very good. Recommended! I'll be eager to see more chapters.

An interesting read, not gonna lie I quite enjoyed it. While there are some mistakes in your spelling and grammar here and there, the overall story is still very much enjoyable. A few tips so you can grow. :) The synopsis is one of the most important element of your novel. It is imperative that it is perfect, without any spelling mistakes. :)
