INQUISITIVE

Basking in my thought of self-assumptions made me realize that Zina and her brother recognizes my powers and are afraid of them, they feel my family is strong than theirs, hence they want to equip me in their park, my thought exactly might be wrong or right, but still, there is always one way to find out.

After the class that day I decided to inform Derrick and Richard of my travel to my brother's school to get more information, it was the least I could do.

"You can ask Zina if she has any idea about the glowing orb" Richard was more inquisitive to find out about the glowing orb.

Am sure he feels am a wolf but don't want to believe that.

"I will think"-

"Hey Zina, please hold on" Richard shouted from afar not letting him think about it before descending the question on Zina. She was shocked to see what I was holding, then she rushed closer and pushed it back into my bag, smuggling me into the Janitor's closet.

"Why did you bring it here" she yelled out

"I just saw it in my closet last night"

She looked confused when I said that

"What? That's not possible"

"Possible," I asked with a smirk on my face, I wasn't surprised at her answer but was worried

"You need to take this to a seer"

"seer? Why?"

"she only can tell you the answer to it"

It was quite natural for me to believe everything she is saying but the fact that I might be dining with a villain got me worried. My insight into horror movies made me start reasoning such, as the attitude of her brother and the freezing moment they both had for a second, all these can insight villains.

"Okay, let me reason it too" I sighed deeply, but Zina was still pushing further to ensure that I yield to her bidding.

"do you have any clue about it?" I asked her.

"This orb is only owned by the moon goddess and it comes out only when a Luna has been identified"

Zina sniffed for a second, then she gazed inside the bag where the orb was,

"You need to take this to an alchemy", I have one" she stuttered, fidgeting up and down the lobby.

My mind wasn't believing anything she was vomiting out, and we were both locked in a closet full of harmful chemicals and sharp objects by the Janitor.

I sighed for a moment while Zina kept on staring at me for my response.

"Okay, I will go see this Alchemy you are talking about but first, I need to see my brother"

"What!?" she yelled out in shock, I was too afraid of waiting for her reply, I rushed out of the closet and stumbled on Richard who was eavesdropping on our conversation.

"Hmm, are you guys done" He looked all guilty when he said that, I was too frightened at what Zina said,

"Let's go" walked out as fast as I could, Derrick was just laughing at Richard while he rushed after us

"wait!! guys, why the rush" Derrick shouted while trying to catch his breath, I never wanted Zina to come closer to me, although I was happy we spoke at close range but not in a comfortable manner.

"What's going on?" Richard grabbed my shirt almost tear

" Talk to us mehn" he shuddered, I try to catch my breath, I was too furious about everything

"Guys, please am tired, let's rest for a bit" Derrick was acting nonchalant about everything.

"What did Zina tell you inside the closet, are you a wolf or something" Richard was being all inquisitive about everything

"I have no clue what she was talking about, I need answers" I was confused myself.

"I told you I know someone who can tell you all what you are looking for" Richard was keen at his words, he wanted me to agree to his decision.

At that point it was like a beast enter me, my action became all energetic, I felt all dried up and needed fluid as quickly as possible, the school tap was close by for me, rushing to grab a volume of water to quench the hard taste I was feeling.

"Zucha, you are scaring every one of us here, what's going on" Derrick became calmer than usual.

"Richard, you said you know someone, take us there then" At that point, I could feel the footsteps of Richard shaking and Derrick looking all confused.

I knew they were not safe with me but I also am scared and confused.

I have no idea what I was about to look for, hence not for Zina I wouldn't have been more inquisitive about it, and it became glaring to me when my parents never said anything.

This must be one of the stupidest things have done in a while, consoling myself as I walked down the aisle with Derrick and Richard.

"We are here," he said, looking at the old duplex building, covered with creeping leaves and cobwebs, all looking tattered, old and wetting leaves on the lawn, the balcony was filled with brown leaves, all flying around the house like a whirlwind.

"Are you sure this is the house?" Derrick was frightened to his borne marrows.

"don't look at the outer appearance of this house, is just a disguise" Richard walked forward as he clears the blocked tiles creating a pathway to the front yard of the building, he beckoned on us to follow him in.

I wasn't scared but was curious to know what this seer or person will say when he sees me, it was some sort of visionary.

The windows were covered with dust, and hand write-ups of warning signs and languages, we walked slowly to the front yard, Richard pressed on the doorbell, and the sound made Derrick run back to the gate.

"come back!" Richard shouted, "Is it just the doorbell" Derrick still wasn't satisfied, he decided to be a watchdog outside while we both go inside.

"Richard, why isn't the door opening" I was becoming frustrated over everything

"Derrick, I think you need to come inside with us" It seams as though Derrick was stopping the door from opening.
