Olivia's POV

“Marry me “. I stared at him and saw no indication of joke on his face.

I quickly removed my hands from his and moved away from him.

“You are not serious, are you “. I asked while staring at him, 

“I'm fucking serious oli, please marry me “.he moved closer to me but I moved away.

“I can't let you destroy your life Jude, you deserve better “.the world hasn't finish coming out from my mouth when he cut me off 

“I know what is best for me Olivia, and you are the one”.he moved closer but this time I did not move away from him.

I took in a deep breath and calm myself,

“I'm pregnant, Jude “. I said those words, hoping he would realize what he was getting himself into.

He did not say a word, rather he moved closer to me and held me.

“I'm aware of that “.he said those words while staring directly into my eyes. I stared back at him and realized he wasn't joking about this.

“What about the baby”. I asked

“It's up to you Oli, but if you would allow me, I will take him or her as mine “.he spoke in a serious tune “.

“You are going crazy Jude”

“He chuckled softly and tighten his grip on me,

“Yes, I'm going crazy for you “.

“You think this is a joke, huh”. I asked, pretending to be angry.

“You are never a joke to me”.he kissed my forehead and hugged me again.

I melt in his hug and for the first time in a long time I smiled.

“Does that mean yes” he asked. while we were still hugging each other.

I don't know if I'm taking the right step, but for some strange reason my heart asked me to go for it.

“Yes”. I whispered.

“I can't hear you “.he teased. I knew he heard me loud and clear,

“Yes “. I spoke out, 

I felt his grip on me tighten, and he released a breath he was holding.

We were in each other embrace when I felt a soft whimper coming from Jude.

I quickly broke the hug and stared at him. Jude was in tears .he quickly wiped the tears away, but I held his hands.

“Are you okay “. I asked, sounding worried.

He smiled at me and kissed my forehead,

“Of course I'm more than okay “.he chuckled softly and held me to him.

“The why were you crying”. I asked, 

“Let's say those were tears of joy “.he chuckled softly and led me to the bed.

“Sit”.he spoke softly with so much care.

“Have you eaten “.he bends down and stared at me, 

“No”. I murmured

He ran a finger on his hair before speaking

“You are pregnant oli, you should also think of the baby inside you “.when I heard those words from him, I couldn't stop the tears from coming.

“Hey, what's wrong “.he took hold of my cheek and caress it.

"I wipe away the tears from my eyes and smiled at him, 

“I have never received such care from Someone like this “. I spoke up, 

“Really”. I looked around and saw Chris standing by the door. I rolled my eyes at him and looked away.

“So you are saying I don't care for you “.he moved closer and stood in front of me with his hands folded.

Jude chuckled at his behavior before he sat beside me.

“You Know I don't mean it that way “. I stood up and hugged Chris.

“Whatever”.he rolled his eyes before sitting on the bed 

“Food is ready “.he spoke up 

“Really, thanks baby “. I replied to him with a smile, 

“Yet someone says I don't care about her “.he looked at me while saying those words.

Jude and I chuckled softly before going to the kitchen.

We sat in the dinning table while Chris serves the food to us.

“Thank you”. I smiled at Chris, but he returned it with a frown.

I chuckled softly and started eating.my stomach was empty, and I was starving. I eat all the food .the moment I finished eating, Jude passed his plate of food to me, 

“Eat, you need it “. I wanted to protest,, but he quickly put the spoon in my hand and gave me that don't you dare object look.

“I'm jealous”. Chris murmured,

I chuckled before eating.

After I finished eating, Chris took the plate from me and asked me to go in and rest.

“You are the best in the world”. I kissed him and went to my room.

When I got to my room, I lay on my bed while Jude just stood there staring at me. I caught his gaze and sat on the bed.

“What “. I asked, 

He moved to the bed and sat on it 

“I'm scared “.he whispered

“Scared about what “. I asked confused,

He stared at me but did not say a word.

“I should start going”.he stood up, but I quickly stood up from the bed and held him,

“What are you scared of “. I asked 

“Loosing you “.he murmured

“But you already have me “. I replied.

He shakes his head before speaking,

“I'm no match for Tony when it's comes to you, you loved him and will always do “.

I stared at him and saw the sadness in his eyes .even when I have agreed to marry him, he is still having doubts in his heart.

“Hey listen “. I took hold chin and made him look directly at me, 

“Yes I love Tony, but what makes you think a person can't fall in love the second time “.

Before I knew what was happening, I felt Jude lips on mine.

I was shocked by his action, but I wasted no time in returning the kiss.

I felt my body shiver when he tightens his grip on me.

The kiss was gentle and pure .we ended the kiss, and he kissed my cheek before releasing his grip on me, 

“I'm sorry if I took you unaware”.he apologized.

“You don't have to “. I replied with a smile.

He smiled at me before kissing me again on the cheek.

“I will leave now, call me if you need anything”.he kissed my lips softly before leaving the room.

The moment he left the room, I felt a strange feeling in my stomach.
