FROM BEYOND

Shun was awake all night in case Ocean said anything else but after what happened he remained silent and slept. The sniper looked for books and information to delve deeper into the case until the blackboard was full of letters.

"The white beast created four main elements: water, fire, earth and air, which are part of our planet, however, there are four people who can control them at will, they are the living embodiment of them."

He looked at the blackboard and erased some things so he could rewrite what he had but keeping it in order.

Ocean = fire

Ayden = water

Evander = ?

Unknown = ?

"That boy Evander must control the land or the air and yet I am missing one, the traveler cannot do it, so my theory that Evander and Zev are the same is ruled out, it is impossible."

Shun remembered Ocean's words inside the capsule so he corrected the board again.

Ocean = fire

Ayden = water

Evander = air

Unknown = land

"Evander can control the air, I deduced it since she mentioned the name as soon as her fire joined the air in the capsule, the air can spread the fire."

He frowned as he thought and imagined a lot of scenarios regarding Evander, now it caught his attention a lot since for him, air was the most important element.

"So your little boyfriend is the strongest of the four," he said, approaching the security camera monitor as he watched her sleep. "For nothing in the world will I let him come save you."

He made himself a strong coffee and drank many cups in order to stay awake, although his eyes would stick together, he forced himself to hold his eyelids, he would not rest until he put all the information together.

The more he learned, the more his ideas took shape. He concluded that those famous loops served as portals. His men were inside the fire loop. However, he did not know how they worked, but he was sure that more than one loop was active, starting with the one in Ayden.

"I would like the white beast to contact me," he pressed his fist against the table, "maybe soon it will be time to protect the most beautiful woman."

The sun rose, the pronounced dark circles on Shun's face denoted that the boy had not slept a wink all night, yet he remained convinced that he would obtain more information that day. He went straight to the air pod and Ocean looked better, even more confident.

"You're not going to let me go that easily, are you?" She broke the chains that tied her.

Her fire diminished as soon as he deprived her of oxygen, which weakened her even more.

"Is he your boyfriend?" He showed her a photograph of Zev.

"Eww no," she made a face of displeasure.

Shun wondered what kind of guy could attract someone as demanding as the girl in front of him, she didn't find him attractive even though he was brown, so using his strange questions he managed to get information.

"Maybe if Zev was dark or black you would like him more, right?"

"I have nothing against people of color but they are not my type."

"Oh I understand," he put the photograph away and turned his back to write something in his notebook, "I'll let you rest."

He left there and wrote down the new information he had obtained on his blackboard.

"She likes blondes," he bumped his fist against the palm of his hand.

He went in search of his other men, who were monitoring Ocean O'Neill's deep sleep, asked them to wake her up and put her under hypnosis.

"It's ready, young Shun."

"Okay," he looked down at her as she sat on a wooden chair with her wrists and ankles tied, "Ocean, give me a description of your boyfriend."

That Ocean said that she didn't have a partner at the time, that she only remembered her ex who coincided with Zev's photograph.

"Your double's boyfriend, have you seen him?"

"No, but she described it to me," she said with a hypnotized look.

"Tell me what he is like."

Shun got ready, set up the easel and with his paint-stained fingertips began to make a spoken portrait.

"Attractive, manly, blonde hair, dark eyes, tall and defined."

"Of course, a woman like her could only notice someone like that," Shun thought as he drew Evander's facial features.

"She also mentioned that he has scars on his arms from burns, she accidentally burned him."

Shun kindly thanked her for her forced cooperation and was once again induced into deep sleep. He took his portrait and headed back to the other Ocean. He stood in front of the glass of the capsule and reloaded the painting for her to see. Ocean reacted immediately, causing Shun to hit the target.

"And he? Is he your boyfriend?"

"Where do you know him from? Where have you seen it?" She stuck to the glass and licked the lips of the portrait from inside.

Shun stepped back when he saw her reaction, he didn't expect her to act that way, her cheeks even reddened more and her look changed from annoyed to lascivious, she bit her lip with desire until the boy removed the portrait from the glass.

"¡No! "My man, give it back to me!" She complained.

Shun zoomed in again and Ocean pressed his slippery, sweat-wet body against the glass.

"What the hell is happening to this girl?" He thought, "is she?" He swallowed, "excited?"

Ocean kissed the glass imagining her lips meeting Evander's, her body was reacting in a disturbing way for Shun, however, he did not stop looking at her.

"Damn Shun, you're a pervert," he said to himself in his head.

He ordered the oxygen to be reduced to put out Ocean's fire and said and done, she began to calm down.

"Sedative in a higher dose, Now!"

Ocean fell asleep while Shun went to the office and stuck the portrait next to the board. He locked the door and leaned against the wall, he kept reliving in his mind that confusing scene of Ocean acting primitively, the sweat on her skin wetting her clothes and the accelerated way in which she kissed the drawing, it seemed that she had not seen him for years, without being face to face with him.

A bulge began to grow between his pants, blushing and cracking his lips he decided to contain himself, he wanted to take down his clothes and do his thing but he knew it was wrong. He looked at the drawing, cursing for not being able to be him.

"The son of a bitch is good looking, he must be very lucky to be loved by someone as horny as her, Damn!"

He took a sleeping dart and stuck it over his knee to avoid doing something crazy. He slowly fell to the ground falling asleep. Within his heavy sleep he saw a silhouette that told him to come closer, he walked towards it and heard a voice.

"Hurry up Shun, have you seen Ocean?" He described her.

He nodded.

"Are you the first traveler?" Shun asked.

"You have to do something quickly, we can't let them win, remember what mother ether says, divide and conquer."

The silhouette was moving away because it didn't have time to stay any longer.

"Where is the beast?"

"In a place that is not a place, in a time that is not a time, here and there."

The silhouette faded as did his words but Shun, inside his dream, knew what to do and had the perfect plan.
