chapter four : the examination

The term was coming to an end and exams were fast approaching students studied hard for their upcoming exams.

Sophia and Serena Made sure that they Studied for a Minimum of Five hours Per day and they also paid Extra Attention to their Teachers during Lecture.

They were studying during break Period one day when one of their class mates Suzie Approached them.

" Hello Sophia and Serena " Suzie Greeted.

" Hi " Sophia and Serena answered.

" Aren't you girls going for Break? " She asked.

" Yes we are but for now we are still studying so we'll go later " Sophia answered Simply.

" Oh! well I wonder why you girls are studying so hard it's an internal exam after all " the girl said

" We are aware, it's also none of your business whether we Study hard or not " Serena Snapped.

Seeing that Serena and Sophia Weren't interested in listening to her Suzie walked away Quietly.

Realising that Suzie had left The duo continued With Their Revisions.

Later the duo went out to the school Cafe where they bought Their Snacks.

The Examination Week soon Arrived Sophia and Serena who were fully Prepared for it Wrote it Confidently and when the results were out they had distinction in all subjects.

The holidays were fast approaching Sophia as got a call from her parents informing her that they will be traveling and that she should spend the holiday in the boarding house.

Sophia told Serena about this and Serena informed her parents that she would not be coming home for the holidays they agreed and told her to take good care of herself and Serena.

Friday morning which marked the last day of school in for first term soon Came.

The Principal Miss Bright advised the students to make use of this holiday period to Revise their books and stay within their parents reach.

she then told the students who will be staying in the boarding house to not go out of the premises and there should be no roaming about.

After the speech Fifteen Minutes long speech the students went back to their Respective class rooms and awaited the school closing bell.

Some were discussing to pass time.

" I am going to spend This short holiday with my Aunt who Stays Abroad " Jennifer Announced.

" Wow, that's great "

" You are so lucky "

" What about you Serena, Where will you Spend your Holiday? " Sylvia asked Curious as Always.

" Well I'll spend my holiday Revising and Studying my books at the school's Hostel " Serena replied.

" The boarding house? where your movement will be restricted " Another girl Named Celine Mocked.

" That's none of your business Celine as it's her choice and not yours Alright? " Sophia answered in an Angry Tone.

The closing bell rang Hours later at 1pm on dot as it was a Friday.

After the Students were dismissed Parents who were available came to pick up their wards while those who weren't sent their Assistant to pick them up.

Meanwhile students whose Parents were busy with work went home themselves by Taking Cabs While some Ordered Rides online.

Sophia and Serena on the other hand took the school bus and went back to their boarding house.

When they got to their room they met Angel their new room mate eating biscuits.

She was Quite surprised when she saw them she greeted them. " Hi, Sophia , Serena are you girls not going home for the holidays? " she asked

" No we are not what about you? " Sophia asked

" oh! well am not going home either " Angel answered

" hmmmmn... interesting so we are going to be together through out this holiday it will be fun " Serena Exclaimed.
