chapter fifteen : Reunion

Sophia was in her office one day when she heard a knock on the door she opened the door and was shocked to find a familiar face.

she then tried to recollect and realized it was Serena her high school bestie Even though she had changed a lot she still had the same face

" hello are you Doctor Sophia, Dr Felix student? " Serena asked

" Yes I am and you are? " Sophia asked

" I am doctor Serena from Royal love hospital " Serena answered

" I came here to see Mr Felix but they told me he was not available at the moment they then told me to come meet you " Serena answered

" Okay how can I be of help to you? " Sophia asked Politely.

" I want to book an appointment with the gynecologist for an Examination " she said.

" Alright i will book you for next week Monday " Sophia answered

" Okay thanks l will take my leave now " Serena said while walking up to the door

" Wait can I ask you a question? " Sophia asked.

" Sure "

" Well, are you from this Country? " Sophia asked Carefully.

" No, I am not I came here about seven years ago " she answered

" Oh! Alright "

" By the way Why are you asking do you know me? " she asked Curiously.

" Well I think so your face looks familiar and also your name did you attend brilliant grammar high School in Country M? " she asked

" Yeah I did wait ---- am I speaking to Bright Sophia? " she asked

" Yes, you are I was wondering if you had forgotten Me " Sophia said

" Wow! I almost didn't recognize you, you've changed a lot Since I last saw you " Serena Exclaimed.

" Of course, I can't remain a teenager forever you've also changed " Sophia said.

" True, I guess I have Putted on more Weight, how come you are here in London Sophia? " she asked

" Well, I got a scholarship for my trainee term here in London " Sophia replied

" Oh! "

" By the way why do you want to book an appointment for an examination? " Sophia asked

" Well that'st's because I am getting married soon and as you know we ladies have to undergo an examination before getting pregnant " Serena explained.

" okay, but getting married when , how and to whom? " Sophia asked curiously

" Well that's actually a long story we will talk about it some other time " Serena answered.

" Where are we to meet? " Sophia asked

" At my Parents home " Serena answered as she gave Sophia her card.

" Bye see you " Serena said as she embraced Sophia.

" Okay bye "

Later that week Sophia went to visit Serena at her house, it was a magnificent building with a large garden and pool.

" Good afternoon Miss " the house keeper greeted.

" Good morning ma "

" Whom do you seek? " she asked

" I seek miss Serena is she home? " Sophia asked

" Yes she is you can come in " the house keeper Said.

she led Sophia to the living room where Serena was sitting on the couch reading some medical reports

" Welcome to My home Sophia " Serena who noticed their presence greeted

" Hello Serena how are you doing? "

" Well I am fine " she answered

" You can go leave now Miss " Serena told the house keeper.

Serena And Sophia embraced each other as they sat down on the couch.

" I hope the journey was not stressful? " Serena asked.

" No, it was just fine " Sophia said

" Well, that's good to hear will you like any thing to eat or drink? " Serena asked

" Water will be Fine " Sophia answered

" Okay " Serena said as she signalled one of the maids to get them a glass of water.

After which they started their discussion.

" Back to our previous discussion I am getting married to Roberto George who is a neurosurgeon, we met when I was in my second year in the university then he was in his final year he is about six years older than me and then we started dating and now we've decided to get married " Serena said

" In how many months time is the wedding? " Sophia asked

" You are talking about months when we are getting married in just three weeks time I am glad I met you earlier will you be my best lady? " she asked

" Of course I'll, I don't see your parents around " Sophia asked looking Around.

" Yes they are not around as they both went for a walk to the nearby City Mall " Serena answered.

" Oh! " Sophia answered

" What about your parents and any news about Angel? " Serena asked

" My parents are fine, Angel on the other hand I have not come across her since we parted " Sophia said

" Why didn't you contact her? " Serena asked

" Well I did once but we lost contacts years ago " Sophia answered

" Okay, Well What about you have you found the right person yet? " Serena asked

" No, I haven't as I am still single and searching " Sophia said as they both laughed.

" Well, I really hope you find the right person soon " Serena said

" I really hope so too " Sophia replied.

The wedding day soon came Serena was dressed in a white ball gown she had a little make over on she also wore silver heels she had a diamond chain on her neck she was stunningly beautiful

Sophia on the other hand was wearing a simple white dress , glass heels and a little make over.

The bride groom was wearing a white suit and white Italian shoe he was an handsome guy in his early thirties.

The bishop who was to join the couples together soon arrived and they started the wedding ceremony after the praise and worship session the couples we're joined together after which the wedding cake was cuted after which Serena threw her flower bouquet and Sophia caught it.

Every one present applauded her and congratulated her as the bride to be.

After entertaining the guests the ceremony ended and everyone went back to their various homes.

Sophia went back to her apartment while Serena and her husband went home she was welcomed with open arms by her in-laws she was happy to have such would in-laws.

Sophia continued her trainee term in the teaching hospital it was during this time she met this handsome young guy named Charles.

And as time goes on they started dating the guy was also training to become a surgeon they then decided to get married after they finished their trainee term.

Sophia invited her parents and sister for her wedding by then her sister was already a grown up girl in her final year in the university as she was studying law

Sophia also invited Serena who by then had already given birth to a baby girl whom she named Flora.

The wedding took place in oneof the Halls of popular hotel in London.

It was beautifully decorated by experts Sophia was wearing a off shoulder white ball gown while the bride groom was wearing a black Italian suit he looked stunning in the suit.

During the ceremony Sophia talked about her and Serena's friendship how they met, their background, how they were separated and brought back together by fate.

She Also tagged Serena as the best friend in the world after which she and Serena embraced one another as they promised to always be there for one another no matter what.

A year later Sophia gave birth to a bouncing baby boy whom she named Luke

By then Sophia and Charles already had their own personal hospital and as Sophia was a very good gynecologist she was called all over the country whenever there was an emergency.

Serena on the other hand had her own hospital whom she named S & S meaning Sophia and Serena

The two friends Lived their Dreams and Were also Happy, They were always by one another's Side Though they had their own families.
