Encounter: The Rising of Luna

Eratonium, the most precious and powerful stone of the whole realm finally chooses its owner, a young eighteen-year-old werewolf girl who doesn't know anything about it and the evil world revolving around her. She has to find her rightful mate on her own and crack the mystery of her pack's destruction and her parent's disappearance. This is the story of her journey from being the weakest to the strongest Luna, her journey of falling, betrayals finding her rightful mate, and being able to protect the werewolf world. Disclaimer: This is a werewolf story but also has a lot of magic involved in it. As this is fantasy story, I would request readers not to search for facts. It's solely the imagination of my mind. Please don't forget to vote with your power stones cause it's an Eratonium for me and comment on the story. That's a motivation. Have a nice reading. Thank you!!!

Was it all because of him?

Chapter 15

Kimberly's POV:

His dark and arrogant demeanor walks towards me with his heartless attitude. I am not scared of him, that fact would be nothing but only a lie. I keep on sitting down on that floor until he comes and reaches me.

I don't look at his eyes, not at all on his face. I don't dare to look at his face. He must be infuriated to the extent of killing me right at this moment. In a few minutes, I notice that he is kneeling right in front of me. My heart races as I sense that he is so much close to me. My eyes keep on looking at that white tiled floor with his daunting appearance.

I am not sure if he is going to keep me alive or not. But I have faith in myself and everything that is going around that I am not yet to die. My story doesn't end here. It will not.

Suddenly, I see blood dripping down my forehead. He was the one who threw those keys to me. But the dripped blood doesn't get to touch the ground. He…holds the blood-drop in the mid-air.

My eyes run through his fist holding my blood. That's ridiculous. What the hell is he doing by holding my blood? I raise my head to gaze at him, and that is when the second drop of blood drips down but he holds it swiftly with another hand and makes a fist. I flinch in fear and astonishment when his hand moves towards me.

I quickly palm my face with my hands when I see his hand coming to me. Those hands weren't there to hit me or scare me but to hold my blood. I free my hands from my face slowly only to see that his eyes are fixated on me.

I thought I could not look at him but his eyes have changed now. He seems to calm down a little. Why? Isn't he supposed to get much angrier than before after seeing me, after being so close to the person whom he calls a traitor? His actions don't match with his words. What's wrong with him?

He frees his hands from the fist. The blood he was holding turns into a red glimmer and floats away in the air.

What the hell is that? I was never informed that werewolves could do something like this. I have never seen this in my whole life. Was I just mistaken a few moments ago? This is insane for god's sake.

"How…how did you…" I cannot complete my sentence. Before I can say anything to him, his hand comes and rests on my forehead like he is measuring my temperature for me.

My eye enlarges as his cold hand rests on my forehead. Can anyone tell me anything about this? This man is seriously behaving like a psycho? Is he some kind of womanizer? What does he want from me?

I lift my eyes and fix my eyes on his face. His eyes are staring at my forehead while his hand is still pressing my forehead. I doubt if he is going to press my throat the next.

I swallow the saliva on my throat as I gaze on his blue eyes. I have never had this chance but Alpha Asher has such a great facial demeanor. I can see how beautiful his eyes are with those long black lashes. The lens of his eyes are special. He has perfectly bent brows while a bunch of front hair covers his tanned forehead. His jaws are perfect and his lips are to die for.

"So, you have shifted?" His bold voice cuts me in my visual action. He isn't speaking to me in the same rude and cruel voice. I wonder why is he being like that.

"Y-Yes," I answer in short. I have to be careful with my words and think before saying something to him. In a few minutes, he leaves his hand from my forehead pulls himself away from me, and stands up.

"Why did you run away?" His question leaves me awed for a while. My jaw drops as no words enunciate from my mouth. I am getting to know that this guy also knows how to speak gently.

But isn't the answer to the question obvious? Does he expect me to stay in this place after threatening me that he would kill me? I think he knows the answer better than anyone else.

"I-I …" My lips are stuck one more time. I don't know why my wolf stays quiet and silent when I need her the most.

"I ASKED YOU WHY DID YOU RUN AWAY?" He shouts with the loudest ever voice that shakes me all through my body.

What is wrong with him now? He was okay a few moments ago, then why? Why is he like this back again?

I know that this is his true self and I am not much amazed seeing his true form again. What scared me the most was the form he showed me a few moments ago. It was more than just confusing.

"I … I had to," I shout in the same pitch of voice as he was shouting as before. My voice could never compete with his high frequency but I somehow managed to break the silence. I am amazed to see that confidence in me but that confidence has repercussions to suffer.

He strides swiftly to my side and without even a delay of seconds, his hands are pressed on my neck. Is this something like deja vu? This was what I had thought a few moments ago when his hand was on my forehead and now, this is happening for real.

"Do you expect me to stay over here like a dead person when you have threatened me to take my life? I have told you numerous times that I don't have any ulterior motive for your pack. To be truthful, I don't have any such motives for any pack. I am lost here like a sheep searching for my destination. Do you believe that I, a wolf who hadn't even shifted would do something to you and your pack? Aren't you underestimating your pack for doubting me as a traitor who would harm your pack?" My eyes are teary when I say that. His eyes dilute. I know he fucking doesn't have any soft corners for me but I have said what I need to say. No more words and no less words.

He is a fool, if he doesn't understand any of this. I avoid his face to face mine and turn my head with much more anger. I know I am in his place but that doesn't mean he has to treat me worse than any animal.

After suffocating me to breathe, he leaves my neck. I grab my neck in extreme pain. I don't understand what's the stone inside me doing. Watching me go through all of this?

I cough and panic helplessly on the ground when he abruptly comes to me and picks me up from the ground like I am some stuff.

"What the hell are you doing?" I shout at him. I am unaware of where this wholesome courage is coming in my body but I keep on shouting at him time and again.

He doesn't answer me, instead opens the door and throws me in the bed.

"Stay here for another five days and then it will be decided what should I do with you." He says and locks the door from outside.

In anxiety, I try to walk to the door, and to my amazement, the pain in my body isn't there… one more time.

I run towards the mirror…There isn't a single spot of blood on my forehead. It's healed and there are no pains in my body.

I remember I had pains before Alpha touched me. Had this all happened all because of him?
