He took the ring from the box again and grabbed onto her hand, putting the ring back onto her finger as he looked into her eyes, telling her, "This ring is for you."

Not only was Daphne surprised, but the manager's mouth also fell open as he stared at the devil in shock. What?! What did he just hear?! This ring. . . The most precious ring in their entire shop. . . He was going to give it to that little servant?! 

The manager could not believe his ears as at once, he felt stuffy in his chest, not pleased with the thought of the precious ring being worn on the finger of a slave girl! If it were for a devil's wife, of course that would be fit, for her. . .

The manager did not want to question the young master, but he could not suppress his disapproval as he asked, "Master Black. . . the ring is for. . . for her?" He asked, unable to hide the shock and distaste in his tone.
