Chapter 131
After the speeches, the graduates were called up one by one to receive their diplomas. When I heard my name being called I walked up to the stage, even though I have not yet gotten over Justin's betrayal, I still forced myself to wear a facade and appear happy for my family and friends.
Standing on the stage I collected my diploma with a smile stuck on my face. I watched as the entire audience cheered on with a round of applause.
The ceremony ended with all the graduates throwing their caps in the air in celebration.
It's a moment I'll never forget because for just that one moment. A tear drop left my eyes not because of my anger towards Justin, but because of how sad I felt to think that after graduation, me and my friends might end up going our separate ways.
Maya would head back to Florida, both Rika & Lucy would go back to New York. I would be the only one left in Richmond.
