"He seems to be doing fine," Laura said after checking Raven's pulse and removing her stethoscope. She then moved to Raven's arm, rolled up his uniform sleeve, and wrapped it with a blood pressure cuff. "It looks like you've been taking good care of Raven, Alaric."
Laura arrived shortly after Marcella had informed her. It turned out she was the family doctor Marcella had appointed. The beautiful woman entered the room and immediately began examining Raven. She paused for a moment, surprised by Alaric's room, glanced at him briefly, and then smiled.
"What's wrong?" Alaric asked, curious.
"I was just thinking that this room is perfect for someone with severe depression like Raven. No windows, no mirrors, no sharp or dangerous objects. Nothing hazardous that could be used for a suicide attempt," she explained.
