Narrator pov

The next day, the first warning bell rang, Elora was heading to class with her books when suddenly two students from behind holding a bowl of flour, rushed to her and poured it all over her body, and ran away, she stood in shock as the whole students started laughing and making jest of her, she was bitter and she ran off to the restroom and stare angrily at herself in the mirror, the students in the restroom laughed at her and making a mockery of her before leaving. suddenly a note was thrown to her from the window, she picked it up and read it out to herself.

"This is another of my treat to you, so, watch your back".she squeeze the note angrily and threw it off."I will make you pay, whosoever that is doing this". she said angrily and started to wash her face and her body.

Elora pov

An hour later, the class teacher was taking us an English subject when suddenly an angry bird walked in with his ear pond on his neck, the whole class, as usual, became rowdy with screaming, I suddenly began to memorize if he was the one doing those awful kinds of stuff to me. I suddenly remember his threat to me some days ago when I bumped into him, my instincts suddenly tells me he was the one, I frowned and stood up boldly in Infront of him blocking his path, everyone in class turned in our direction and I could notice the surprised look on their faces.

"what's she doing?" one of the students asked.

"you! You are the one making those treat on me, huh? I know you are the one".I said angrily at him as he raise his face to me, I could see the anger and hatred in his eyes as he fixed it on me, I don't let it scare me as I stood my ground returning the gaze.

"if you don't move your pathetic body out of my way, you will be sorry".he muttered in threat, I tried to retaliate when I got interrupted by the teacher.

"Will you two take a seat, before I order you out?".she said sounding serious. we stare hard at each other for a while before I pave way for him as he moves to his seat, I let out a sigh and move to sit, then there was a loud thud as I hit my butts on the floor instead of sitting on my chair, then it occurred to me that someone shifts my chair from its position making me land on my butts. the whole class was filled with laughter as the teacher yelled at all of them to keep quiet, I groan in pain and manage to stand up and started rubbing my butts "Who did that to her?!" she voice out angrily, staring at the whole class who became dumb and quiet, then she sighs and turn her gaze back to me." are you okay miss Dickson?" she asked warmly and I nodded my head as I shift my chair back to its position and sat still feeling the pain.

later at home, I lay on my bed as Mrs. Alice place an ice pack on my butt

"does it still hurt?" she asked

"a little".I replied.

"Who could have done this?do you know who did it?" she asked I roll my head and she sighed."we should report this to the authority of the school, this is an act of wickedness, what if it was more than this,".she said and I could sense the worry on her voice.

"We don't have to aunt, it's fine"

"Are you sure?" she asked and I nod my head."okay if you wish, let me see what's on the gas, I will be back ". she stood up and left to the kitchen leaving the ice pack on my butts.

TWO days later, the first warning bell rang, I walked into the school corridor heading to my locker.

"How are your butts holding on?".a familiar voice said from behind in mockery as the three of them walk away laughing.

"do you need a massage in there, I could be of help". another male student said and they laughed, I got irritated by it and frowned at him before moving to my locker, then suddenly I got sight of two unfamiliar students with their bags hanging on the back and I suddenly recollect that they were the ones that poured flour on me and the bags on their backs reminded me of them.

"hey! You two!".I yelled out to them and they turn to me quickly, before I could approach them, they ran off."those two idiots, I knew they were the ones".I close my locker and ran after them yelling out to them to stop" Stop right there!".I yelled, continuing to run after them, they climbed step to step, and I was getting a little exhausted as I bumped into someone hitting my face on his chest." ouch!"

"don't you watch where you are going?" he said coldly and I suddenly recognize his voice, I raise my face to him.

"out of my way, I am not in the mood to chat with you".I said unfriendly trying to move, but he blocked my path.

"oh really? why are you chasing those two innocent students around, does this place looks like a playhouse?" he said and I scoffs.

"that's none of your damn business.. why do I have this feeling that you are the one that sent those two idiots to humiliate me in Infront of everyone".

"Maybe I did, maybe I didn't..well your instinct didn't lie" he smirked and I frowned at him.

"y-you animal! How dare you ".I yelled angrily at him as I raise my hand to slap him but he held it quickly and I struggle to release my hand from his.

"how dare you try to raise your filthy hands on me, what right do you have!?" he yelled.

"I am not afraid of you, you sent those two boys to humiliate me and even made me hit my butts so hard on the floor". I retort back at him and he scoffs and he turns and walks away, I became angrier and I picked up my shoe and threw it at him and it hit the back of his head." serve you right". I said boldly and he quickly turns to me with anger and I couldn't care less, not quite long all the students gathered around to watch, he walk up to me and I folded my hands across my chest waiting for his worst.

"How dare you! do you know who you are dealing with?."

"Like I care". I said nonchalantly and he quickly grabs my wrist tightly, I groan in pain and struggle with him, the whole students were staring at us surprisingly.

"let go of me!".

"I will crush this hand you use in throwing stuff at me,".he said furiously and I was struggling with him in pain. suddenly he let go of my hand, and due to the force I fell off hitting my butt on the floor and all the students laugh. "that's where you belong".he turn his back and walk away, I stare hard at him and stood up, I ran to him and gave him hard kick on his back, he groaned in pain and fell on the floor, all the students gasped in shock. I made another move and sat on his back pulling his hair hard, he groans trying to free my hands from his hair, and then he managed to push me off and hold on to my hair, we were holding on to each other hair still struggling, just then a voice interrupted us from behind.

"Miss Dickson and Mr. Derick, in my office now!" that was the voice of the principal, we let go of each other hair still staring hard at each other breathing heavily." I said now!" he said walking away and we followed him behind to his office. he sat down facing us with his frowned face and we stood ignoring each other."do you two care to tell me the nonsense you were pulling out there?' he asked calmly but anger could notice in his voice, he waited for a second before he spoke"miss Dickson, you are barely a week in this school and you are already causing a nuisance".he yelled.

"of course not sir, he started it, it was his fault".I said trying to defend myself and he then try to talk back when a call came through his cellphone and he picked it up without looking at the caller as his gaze was still on us.

"Hello?" he said angrily and suddenly his anger became calm and he brighten up his face quickly with a wide smile "Oh am sorry sir, I didn't know it was you, sorry about my respond.......okay sir, no problem, thank you sir".he hung up smiling and then seize his smile as he turns his gaze back to us ." now you two, if this nonsense happened again, I will- he got interrupted as angry bird walked out of him before he could complete his statement.

"What an arrogant bastard".I said to myself and turn to the principal who signal me to go." thank you sir", I said and walk away, I came over to the school garden and let out a deep sigh then I noticed someone behind me, I turn back quickly to see a huge man on a black suit and black shaded glass, he was so tall with muscle that I have to swallow my spit three times at his sight.

"come with me, ".he said with command and his voice was very deep and scary. I stood still in fear and was not thinking of going with him, many negative thoughts were going through my head as I stare around and notice no students or teachers were seen around, everywhere was quiet as graveyards and I wonder what brought me out here in the first place, I should be in class receiving lecture, but why am I here. "don't be scared, am not here to hurt you or kidnapped you, I know what you are thinking, but someone wants to talk to you, he is outside the gate waiting and he hates it when someone keeps him waiting". he said and I let out a sigh of relief.

"but why should I trust you".

"you don't have to, if you love your life, you will follow me,".he said and walk away, I have no option but to follow him behind. we finally arrived outside the gate and I saw a black TINTED ROLLS-ROYCE ROYCE car with two other amazing cars that I don't know their names, I gasped in amazement as the door of the Rolls-Royce was opened for me to get in by the man, I hesitate for a while before I let out a deep breath and enter, the door was closed, I was amazed by the inside and the air freshener that fill my nostrils, I close my eyes to enjoy the cool air conditioner and the soft music coming from the car.

"wow, it took you so long to get here, and now you are enjoying every bit of my car,".an unfamiliar voice said beside me and which made me come back to my senses, I turn quickly in his direction to see a man of late sixty with a fine face and his hair were all white and beautiful along with his deep blue eyes, his face was a little familiar with that of angry bird and he was smiling faintly at me. he suddenly notice the tension I was then he spoke."don't be scared, I don't bite, so relax your mind".

"um, am sorry, I didn't know you were here".I sputtered

"of course, maybe that's because you were lost,".he said and giggle.

"am sorry".

"Don't be, I sent for you".

"Who are you and what do you want from me?"I asked a little bit scared and he laughed as if what I said sounded funny

"Well, my names are Eric Monk," he said as he introduced himself and his name was still unfamiliar to me.

"Okay, so, why did you bring me here?".

"Okay, let me go straight to the point, I know you don't know me well that much, but I have a job for you, Elora Dickson". he said and I was surprised at how he knows my name.

"you know me? How come you know my name? I haven't told you yet".I asked surprisingly.

"of course, I know your name dear child and you have no idea of whom you are seating with and talking to".

"am I in trouble or something?".

"no, you are not in trouble".

"then how do you know my name and everything about me and why are you offering me a job, because I haven't told anyone that I am looking for a job, wait, are you a ghost?".I asked and he laughed again.

"you are so funny and I like you already, well, let me not confuse your mind, I have seen the way you have been treating my grandson, and I kinda like that".

"your grandson? Who?".I asked more confused. he smile and took out a tab from his seat and play a video of me and the angry bird at the airport the other video was the one that just happen earlier between us.

"now you know who I am talking about,".he said and place the tab back in his seat.

"he's your grandson? Look, is sorry I did that to him, I needed to teach him a lesson for being arrogant and stupid, please don't hurt me, I promise to stay far away from him".I said sincerely knowing fully well that I am in deep trouble, now I realized what Sonia have been telling me, why did I get involved in that stupid boy's way.

"stop being silly," he said jolting me out of my negative thought."I am not going to hurt you or something, I am happy with what you did to him, Marvin is my favorite grandson and the heir to my empire".

"so, you are not angry -

"no, I am not,".he said cutting me short and I let out a sigh of relief." you are the only girl I have seen treating my grandson this way, he is feared by many, but you are different, you always put him in his place. one thing about my grandson is that he hates been bullied at and competitor, so, I have a job for you and I know you can do it".

"what job?".

" I will give you five million us dollars if you can make my grandson humble and kind to people, that's your job". he said and I Widemouth in surprise to hear that huge amount of money. I was heading back to class still memorizing about the offer and the job, that money can change my family's lives, and my mom can expand her business with it. the money was tempting but the condition was way too big to handle. I had a flashback of when he was offering me the job.

"Why do you want me to do that and why offering me that huge amount of money?" I asked surprisingly.

"Because I know you are the only one that can do it, I made my grandson look like this, but I want him to be better and normal, that's why I choose you,".he said and I sigh". will you do it?". he asked and I hesitate for a while before answering.

"yes I will, I will do it, is it not to make your grandson humble and respectful, that is too small for me to handle, you can trust me on that, so, when should I start".I asked and he smile.

"I like your spirit, you can start at any time, but on one condition".

"condition? What condition?".

"you will be staying with my grandson ".

"What? Stay with him?".

"yes".

"I can't do that, we can't stand each other, not to the point of staying under the same roof, we might just kill each other ".

"That's what I want,".he said and I let out a gasp." am just joking ".he laugh and I sigh "You won't kill each other, that is the only way to get him, so will you do it?".I sigh thinking of what to do or say.

"Can I think about it?".

"yeah sure, when you are ready, you can give me a call".he hands me his card. suddenly I was brought back to my present as the teacher call out my name.

"Finally, you are here, what took you so long?" she asked calmly and I notice I have stepped into the class and all eyes were on me.

"um-

"wait, hold on, did you pause your teaching because of her, ".one of the three girls asked coldly towards the teacher and gave me a disgusting look, I was surprised by what she said, did the teacher pause her lesson because of me?

"Elora, go take a seat,".she said ignoring her questions I nod my head as I move back to my seat and I could see the dead gaze she and her friends were giving me.
