It's my blood. It won't betray me.

Professor Thomas and Aria began to attack each other again.

From the little gap that sometimes opened up, Aria saw that the professor was smiling. It was not his usual kind and elderly smile, but a smile of pure instinct, one that came from the heart when you were highly enjoying yourself.

Aria's lips stretched into a smile to as her instincts started to take over.

After an intense battle for ten minutes, during which Aria received many new cuts and two punches, and managed to land a few hits on Professor Thomas, Aria gave herself to instinct.

She closed her eyes and could feel each and every drop of water around them. Suddenly, she felt a sharp, small knife of water coming towards her. Most of her water was focused on attacking, and there was not enough time to dodge or bring any more water from anywhere.

Aria, purely out of instinct, almost bend earth to conjure a shield. Her eyes suddenly flew open and she looked at the earth at her feet, it's shape had been changed a little. Aria cleared her mind to stop herself from losing her rationality. She was sure that she would win if she let her instincts take over, but then there was no telling what else would happen.

But Aria had forgotten something very important among this.

A wet knife suddenly came and pierced her right shoulder.

Aria gave out a yelp as tears began to fill her eyes. She moved her fingers and the knife came out of her shoulder, now red. Blood dripped out of her wound and onto her white shirt.

Professor Thomas walked upto Aria and stopped five feets from her. He said, "That's enough. Give up now."

Aria smiled as she blinked back her tears, "You all are raising warriors here right? What kind of a warrior will give up when they can still fight."

As she said this, Aria felt a punch of water to her face. She lost her balance a little as the corner of her lips began to bleed.

Aria was still smiling as she twirled her fingers, Professor Thomas got ready for an attack, but was shocked to see Aria bending her blood that had dripped out to form weapons.

Aria took a few deep breaths and and the fight began again. Aria was still taking a lot of attacks, but she was inflicting more than before thanks to the blades made up of her blood.

Finally, after what seemed like a long time, they both abruptly stopped. The students were surprised upon seeing this but the next moment they saw why. There was a red blade made of blood resting on Professor Thomas's shoulder, just an inch from his neck.

Aria smiled, "Did you know it's easier to control your blood? Far easier than bending water from any other source."

Professor Thomas apparently tried to do something, because Aria spoke again, "It won't work. It's my blood. It will not betray me."

Whatever happened next happened in a split second, Aria barely saw professor crouching down suddenly, out of the range of the knife. He then closed the distance between them in the blink of an eyes ans Aria barely had time to move a little to dodge before the professor's fist, which was aimed at her chest, hit her shoulder.
