I am not being scolded?

"A feat that possibly no one in the kingdom could have accomplished." Professor Thomas said, and Aria's mouth fell open.

What the actual hell!?!?!?! Professor Thomas chuckled upon seeing her expression. "I know I'm not supposed to say this, but I can't resist. I must tell you, Miss Aria. I am impressed."

Aria's eyes almost fell out of her sockets upon hearing this. She would have jumped up and ran the length of the whole ward right now out of ecstasy, if she wasn't sure that she would die if she tried to get up now. "Does that mean I am not going to get scolded anymore?" she asked, giving the best puppy eyes there was to Professor Thomas.

Professor Thomas sighed and shook his head with a smile. He leaned in to whisper in her ear after taking a quick look at Miss Anhao and making sure she was far away. "Let's just tell Professor Iris that I scolded you for half an hour and you promised to never ever do anything reckless ever again." he said, looking very much like a child who was up eating candy when he was supposed to be asleep.

Aria chuckled and her eyes glistened with mischief. "Unless it concerns the life of anyone I care about." she said, her face turning serious as she completed her sentence. Professor Thomas shook his head with a sigh, "Good enough." he mumbled before straightening up.

"Now, down to the most important thing." he began, "Tell me each and every thing that happened in that hide-out."

Aria sighed as she prepared herself. She had spent a lot of time yesterday remembering all the events of that night, so that she wouldn't miss out on anything Professor Thomas might find useful.

She began, and stopped as she reached the point where she was overtaken by rage. Aria remembered everything while she was not in control perfectly, but wasn't sure if she was supposed to. She remembered how Helen had forgotten what she did while she was overtaken by rage, and that had been very mild, she hadn't really hurt anyone. While Aria had been, well, Aria.

Professor Thomas sighed as Aria finished. "That must have been rough." was his only observation before he turned silent.

Aria knew the expression on his face all too well as she stared at his deep blue eyes. He was deep in thought, trying to put together what she had told him to whatever he already knew.

By the time he looked up, Aria had already traced each and every feature on his face and was staring at the ceiling, completely bored.

"I don't suppose you could tell me anything about the fight that happened after?" he asked, "Not for anything serious, just the curious bendor inside me." he added, seeing Aria hesitate.

Aria chewed on her lip as she wondered what to do. She couldn't tell him about the fight without saying she had lost control. The night warriors had been too powerful for her to fight in her conscious state, even Professor Thomas knew that.

So Aria went with the safest option and said, "I-I . . . . I was overtaken by rage." she mumbled, avoiding meeting his eyes.

"Oh. . . . " was Professor's only reply as his face fell. "So are you one of those who don't remember anything?" he asked.
