Vasili and I had probably just stood there kissing for ten minutes straight. Constantly we would whisper to each other how much we loved and missed one another. It felt like we were too afraid to let each other go, as if as soon as we did we would wake up from this dream. The sun had long set and it was only till a cold wind startled us did we notice.

I took his bags and led him into the cottage. His eyes immediately lit up as he took it in.

"I love this," he smiled brightly as I led him into the bedroom.

"Would you like me to make you some dinner first?" I was unpacking his bags as he took off his clothes and threw them into the hamper.

"No. I ate some cinnamon rolls before I came here so I'm not that hungry yet," he smiled sweetly as I wrapped my arms around his waist. He was only dressed in his underwear and I had missed the sight of his skin so much that I found it hard to keep my hands to myself.
