He follows her outside, "Alice…I am much too exhausted to go further." Alex explains feeling delirium set in.
"A little more love…" Alice asks clapping her hands together smiling, "Were being called Darling!"
"Darling?" Alex answers confused, his face flushed hearing her sweet voice, "Let me guess…"
Into the distance, he views the forest open, "As soon I turned knew my place here." Alice states.
"Know your place? Alice doesn't be brainwashed by this nonsense." Alex contends observing a rather skinny woman coming from the forest, dressed in all black, her black hair feathered out with a gold piece connecting to the back of the hairpiece.
"Master Elijah requests your presence, please don't let him wait."
"This is Elijah's sword; she is lovely I assure you! Come, love!" Alice shouts eagerly at Alex who only gives them a deathly stare trailing them gradually.
Alex labors to breathe inch by inch in the long tunnel where an elongated table stands not too far inside, he examines and analyzes for any traps lying around before sitting.
"Master Alex, Elijah will be here shortly please be patient."
"What is your name?"
"Trinity, you just weren't ready to meet me till now."
"Tea parties are so fun don't you think?" Alice comments pouring herself a cup of tea, Trinity decides to sip her tea with a grin watching the two talk to each other.
"Sorry to keep you all waiting, I was making last-end meetings," Elijah announces, everything becomes silent Alex jumps up in disbelief seeing with his own two eyes the clan leader.
Elijah walks over to his seat placing his hand on his head, "Master Elijah!" Alex shouts stunned in his presence, Alice and Trinity snicker from the sidelines making Alex nervous.
"This will be most likely be one of our last meetings, but you must awaken Christian."
"Awaken Christian? He is literally fucked up because of Dominique!"
Elijah scrolls through his book, licking his fingers before proceeding to the next page bringing out a small bottle from nowhere between pages handing it to Alex.
"Give this to him Alex; protect him with your life."
"I don't plan to lose him, we have gotten really close since he came…" Alex admits shyly looking at the shine of pink liquid in the bottle putting it away in his pocket.
"You will get two gifts before we depart in the future."
"Two gifts Master Elijah?"
"One will be my book; the other when the light of the full moon hits you will be able to give the gift of eternal life…" He says shifting the book to his hands, Alex starts to lose focus, his eyes blur out, and sharp pain in the left side of his head makes him drop it to the ground, the sleeping demon residing in the book starts to take advantage of Alex's lessening energy.
Alice gets up from the seat worriedly, "Alex?" Alice yells watching him collapse to the floor.
"Master Elijah, what do we do?" Trinity asks humbly.
"I already knew he was sick before he came here, Dominique tried to split Alice."
"Should he not be punished for his misdeeds, Master Elijah?" Trinity demands to know.
"For now I will do nothing, but he is certainly due for his," Elijah responds irritated gently picking Alex up from the soft plush grass.
"Master Elijah, I have just been released from that horrid room as a vampire so I can no longer give him my blood…"
"Alice you are only doing well, please do not worry," Elijah replies swiftly canceling the illusion around them walking back to the house, they all stroll to the compound together.
Alice firmly holds the book given to Alex in her hand with a stern look on her face knocking on the door Collins answers looking star-struck at Elijah, "Master?"
"Please take him to Chara at once; she will know what to do. I am busy, but thank you."
"Yes Master Elijah, thank you," Collins replies in a sing-song voice high in anxious tones that are robotic afterwards moving back inside, Alice wave's goodbye before following behind him.
Chara comes out of Christian's room startled, "Sir Collins, please lay him down at once. I need to start the kettle!"
She says dashing off into the kitchen; Alice scrutinizes how he is placed showing him out after tucking him in seeing his book down on the nightstand to the side of the bed.
"I had so many dreams of our togetherness…will you love me again?" She asks verge of tears. Chara sprints in towels and a thermometer.
"I am so mad at Master Dominique, not you dearie." Chara howls in disgust.
"Christian's condition is my fault…"
"It is Master Dominique's, the cocky asshole," Chara argues arranging the table, Alice notes the tint in one of her eyes slightly glowing, she was tempted to look but refrained herself.
"You are only half-vampire aren't you? What is your other half?"
"My mother was an archmage…"
"Mages really exist?"
