Chapter 7

This is set straight after.

Echo's POV

"hey Scott, Derek and I need to get home see you there" He nodded and Derek pulled me closer to his side. "Bye" He nodded and we went back to his car.

Liam's POV

After Derek and Echo left I turned to Scott. "Do you think they've been acting a bit weird lately?" He pondered don what I'd just said and nodded. "A bit, I mean they have been going home really early and that extremely weird conversation before the battle." Stiles pointed out, we all agreed. "Just leave them alone"

Malia said, we all looked at her in surprise.

"They're hiding something, and I'm going to find out what" Malia shook her head. "No, you're not. You are going to leave them alone" Scott and I put our hands up in surrender. "So, who is the one who can do really cool things?" Alec said, we all scoffed and raised our hands, Scott pointed to Lydia, "She is something called a banshee. She predicts death" He did a double take. "So if someone here was about to die, she'd know?" Scott nodded. "Anyway, I've got to get home, gotta study." He nodded and I left.

I'm not really going home to study, I hate studying! I'm going to see Hayden, she said that she should be home but if she isnt she said that I would wait for her.

3 hours later

Okay, I'm bored, I'm going to find her and if I find her with another man I'm going to bloody kill him. I grabbed one of her tops and inhaled her scent, strawberry and vanilla. I tracked it to Derek's loft, what? What if Derek is- NO! If he is then Echo will be broken. But if feel like he'd be loyal to his mate.

I knocked on the door and listened for any sound from inside, it was pretty quiet, Hayden and Echo's voice echoed throughout the loft. "Girls?" I called through the door. The door was unlocked to reveal a guilty looking Hayden and a smiling Echo. "Hey Liam, I assume you're here to steal Hayden?" I nodded and Hayden grabbe sher coat. "Let's go, I'll explain on the way back" I kissed her cheek and was about to close the door when I heard Peter come down the stairs.

"Will that kid ever-" He immediately stopped talking when he saw me, "uhh nothing" He tried to walk into the kitchen but was stopped by Echo who gave him a massive death glare that could scare anyone to the bone. "Anyway, bye Lia-" Echo stopped mid sentence when a loud crying ran through the loft, I covered my ears. "What the hell was that?!" Echo sighed and went upstairs.

"Where's Derek?" I asked, Hayden pointed upstairs. "Probably passed out, he didn't sleep well last night from what I've heard." I nodded but the crying started again, "Okay,that's it, I'm going upstairs to see what the hell that was" Hayden grabbed my arm but a shrugged it off and ran upstairs.

Echo's POV

Will this kid ever stop crying?! "Hey, shh" As soon as I thought she'd stopped crying, she let out a loud horrible, noise. I sighed and Derek held out his hands to take her, I immediately gave her to him. As soon as Derek held her she fell asleep and Derek passed out on the chair with a smile still on his face.

I sat on the chair next to Derek and leant my head on his shoulder while falling into a deep sleep.

Liam's POV

I got upstairs and it was silent.

.weird.

I started walking when my hearing focused on three heartbeats. Wait 3? Peter was downstairs and it's only Derek and Echo up here, unless Cora's here, yeah that makes sense. "Derek?" I called, silence. I tried again but the small happened. "Okay, I'm coming in" I went inside the room where the heartbeats were coming from and I was shocked. It was a nursery, why have they got a nursery. "Why do you think Liam?" I swear Hayden can read my thoughts like a book sometimes.

My eyes widened. "I'M GOING TO RIP DEREK'S THROAT OUT. WITH MY TEETH" (sorry for taking your line buddy ;)

I strode angrily over to Derek, "You got my one of my closest friends PREGNANT?!" He immediately woke up and looked at me in annoyance."what?" He obviously didn't feel like answering any questions right now. "Liam, can we talk later, I kinda have school." I scoffed and blocked her way out.

Echo's POV

I pushed past Liam and went to get dressed in my bedroom. "Just- can we talk later Liam, I'm really not in the mood." Once I was dressed and had breakfast I was about to leave when I remembered Derek. "Oh and Liam, LEAVE DEREL ALONE, AT LEAST UNTIL I COME HOME!" I yelled up the stairs.

I ran to school and met up with Allison. "How the hell did you get here that fast??" I gave her the 'seriously?!' Look. She playfully rolled her eyes "well?" I glared at her, "we are in a public place where there is more than five werewolves with extremely good hearing and could hear us" She nodded and pulled me into the girls changing room while turning on all the showers and sinks. "Okay they can't hear us, spill" I laughed and agreed.
