Chapter 15

Trudy's POV

I was staring at the fight the was happening between Mummy, Erica, the man and Boyd. The man could fight better than any of us and Daddy was gaping at him. Not because he could fight better though. Erica and Boyd were eventually beaten and they ran into the forest. I don't think they'll be coming back any time soon.

"Deaucalion?!" Daddy yelled, the man turned around. "Yes?" His voice was one that could be menacing or at times, very soft. "I have quite a few questions, but here, I'll stick to two," The man-Deaucalion, nodded his head in a way to say 'continue'. "My first question is, How are you alive? Second, GRANDDAUGHTER?!!" Daddy yelled the last part before Mummy ran up to him and they hugged tightly.

Derek's POV

Echo ran and hugged me. "I've missed you so much" She started crying into my shoulder, "It was hell being away from you for so long, I just couldn't wake up, the poison was getting weaker, and I was getting stronger. It didn't look like it but its true" I kissed her to stop her talking, she kissed back until I pulled away. "Deaucalion saved me, he found an antidote to the poison, a moonlight berry. They are quite rare but he managed to get ne one before the poison took me" I cupped her face in my hands and kissed her forehead.

"And I'm so glad he did" I felt a tug and the bottom of my trousers and I looked down. Trudy. She smiled back up at me and I lifted her into my arms. Her smile grew wider as Echo took Trudy from me. "I missed you so much" Echo wrapped her arms tightly around Trudy. "I'm so sorry I wamst there for you" Trudy wiped a stray tear that had fallen from her eye. "No it's fine, it's not your fault. Erica poisoned you and that's not your fault"

I turned back to Deaucalion. "Care to explain?" He sighed. "Well, I was in town and I heard about what happened to Echo. You know, we alphas have to stick together. There arent any Lunas in California currently, so I had to do something. And i never died, I healed just in time to get back to my full strength. I went to see Echo in the hospital, I realised what the poison was and the antidote. I cured her and realised something. I had lost my daughter, years ago. She went missing the day after she was born. Echo has the same birthday as my daughter, and she's mated to an Alpha. Echo is my daughter" I was shocked.

"So your saying that you're my mate's father, and my daughters grandfather?!" He nodded. "We have a spare room and the pack house if you want to stay?" Echo asked, he seemed to think about it for a moment before answering. "Okay, just make sure Peter behaves" I chuckled. "Of course, but I'm not sure if Peter would keep his word". I lifted Trudy back into my arms and we went back to the pack house. "Erica and Boyd won't be coming back any time soon. The rest of you can go into the guest rooms for the night. I'll call you when dinners ready".

We all got back to the pack house and I went upstairs with Echo and we spent times with eachother, being away from your mate for so long is physically draining.

Trudy's POV

I was sitting in the living room with... Deaucalion. I still haven't decided what to call him yet. I neve met Daddy's parents and I thought that Mummy's parents were Melissa and Chris. Mummy's actual Dad doesn't live around here, so Chris is more like a grandpa to me. "So....your Mummy's Dad?" He nodded. "Well, only her biological father, not the man she grew up with." I nodded, "what's it like having an Alpha and Luna as parents". I smiled. "Amazing, well Mummy was in hospital on my first day of school but she is amazing!!" He smiled.

"That's good then" Scott entered the room and made himself look taller. "Time for training, everybody outside in two minutes!" I walked outside with Deaucalion and sat down on the grass. "Partner up, fairly and work on tour fighting skills. Are there any questions?" I raised my hand. "Yes Trudy?"."Well I was just wondering, who I go with, me being tiny and all" He thought and then pointed to Isaac. "Isaac's been injured for a while so I think you can take him" I nodded and got on a mat with Isaac.

Scott yelled for us to start and Isaac ran at me. I jumped onto his back and began kicking and clawing at him. He growled and flipped me so I'm on the floor, on my back. He bent down to help me up, but I kicked him in the face with both feet, breaking his noise. "Screw you Trudy!" He said, while clutching his nose. I giggled and ran over to him, "sorry Isaac!!" He playfully rolled his eyes but put me on his back unexpectedly. He ran around the mat with both his arms out, like a bird. "This is so fun!!" I squealed, Isaac laughed and put me down, so I could watch Daddy's training.

Daddy was training with Mummy, they were only play fighting, because they wouldn't hurt eachother on purpose. Mummy was smiling, and Daddy had her slung over his shoulder. He put her back on the ground and she got back up, and tried to hit Daddy. He dodged it and flashed his eyes at Mummy, both their eyes flashed red and they pounced on eachother. Daddy had Mummy pinned to the floor in seconds. "That's not fair! You're not aloud to read my mind and predict my moves!" Mummy said.

I jumped up and ran onto Daddy's back. "Hey Kiddo," He looked back at me and then back at Mummy. Once everyone was finished with training we went inside and had dinner. Mad eby Kira and Malia, with input from Hayden. I went into my bedroom with Mummy and she tucked me in. We said goodnight and she left. I rolled to the other side of my duvet, I closed my eyes and opened them. I can't sleep!! I turned again and there was a woman with claws and fangs. She smirked at me and dragged me out of bed and onto the floor, with her claws dug into my back. She barred her canines at me and growled.

"Well hello Trudy"

It's been days since I first wrote this chapter, I kept getting writers block at random stages. I decided to add a villian to this book. Enjoy! ♡
