Connect With Humans

Edgar strolled while keeping an eye on Elsi; I'm not sure what stopped him from becoming more enthusiastic—he even continued looking at her face.

Elsi responded, feeling as though she had been heard the entire time, "If you have something to say, just say it."

"No, I just feel strange."

"You are an odd person," Elsi remarked.

"It's not like that; I mean, I nearly hurt myself, but someone saved me; it was like a dream."

"So, try not to sleep too much."

Elsi continued on her way without turning around since she was tired and even more eager to get home. Elsi often felt sleepy in the late afternoon or early evening, which is why she had so much energy at night. But sadly Elsi must learn to adapt to human activities, which were significantly different from those in her prior life.

Elsi was given an embrace by Edgar, as was customary. Elsi's arm was then touched by Edgar.

"Your arms are very tense like you used to work out."

"Do you? Weak," Elsi smiled and giggled.

"If you're going to be with me, don't act like that. You'll drop," Elsi merely chuckled at what he stated incoherently.

Elsi is aware that human always exalts what she deems proper, despite it not always being the case. Elsi wanted to return home right away to eat some meat because her stomach was growling.

Even though Elsi loved grilled meat like everyone else, Edgar was aware that it was her favorite cuisine. Elsi required raw meat similar to when she used to live in the forest. However, Dicky forbade it, always asserting that they were just like other people. Elsi, however, always follows Dicky's instructions.

"Can I have a game at your home? Can I? "Edgar, who was curious about Elsi's home, said.

Edgar and Elsi never knew the location of Elsi's home even though they were living close by and became separated at a crossroads. Elsi carried on without listening to what Edgar said.

"Can you?" Edgar said.

"Only you, don't tell anyone else."

Edgar only raised an eyebrow, but they had already gotten up and boarded the bus to Elsi's residence. Being around Elsi seemed to have made Edgar quite happy.

Dicky answered the door after Elsi knocked and grinned at her. Dicky glanced at Edgar because he was aware that his nephew was holding a person. Even from a distance, one can still clearly smell the distinct human odor.

Dicky questioned, "Elsi's friend?"

"Yes."

Dicky promptly extended his hand in greeting as Edgar extended his. Edgar saw that the hand of a tall, attractive person was warm. Edgar didn't mind that it was warm, almost like someone had a fever, just like Elsi's hand.

Dicky invited everyone inside.

Identify yourself. Dicky turned his head in Edgar's direction after hearing Edgar whisper.

"I didn't say anything about myself, did I? I'm Elsi's older brother, Dicky."

Edgar stared in shock because he had no idea Elsi had a sibling. Edgar gave him a gentle smile, causing Edgar to reciprocate. Edgar had the impression that he spoke to Elsi inaudibly, but loud enough for Dicky to hear.

Who knows where abilities come from till Elsi's family appears to be so experienced in cooking, so Dicky cooks for Edgar and Elsi as well. Edgar is shocked to see how Dicky looks good at cooking.

He inquired, "Brother chef, huh?"

"You could say that," Dicky murmured.

Elsi merely pursed her lips in the meanwhile.

When Dicky handed Edgar the completely cooked steak and said, "Come on, please have a taste," Edgar squealed with delight since the dish was so good. Elsi was still looking away when Dicky glanced at her.

After that, Dicky will question Elsi in-depth; while being accustomed to living with humans, Dicky dislikes having them play in his home. He was too annoyed by the human odor that permeated the space to maintain composure. Sometimes a few days after he entered the room, the smell of human beings will go away.

Edgar was still eating his meal when Elsi prepared to enter the kitchen with Dicky following close behind.

"You weren't discovered, were you? Your companion may be more sensitive than you realize."

"Don't worry," Elsie reassured.

Dicky vehemently opposes whether they are in love and already thinks Edgar makes his nephew feel strange.

"We may live alongside others, but I sincerely hope you won't develop feelings for him. One of our ancestors must be our spouse."

Elsi recognized Dicky's worry since her mother had expressed it to her earlier. was betrayed by humans when they began to approach them, and even the humans killed the wolves out of a desire to make her their queen.

Elsi remembered Dicky "Is there still a chance I'll see my mother? Strange thoughts of my deceased father always come to mind."

Dicky said, "Go to your friend, don't make him wait too long," because he was perplexed.

Dicky went right away to ask someone else instead of Elsi. Dicky always conceals secrets, which annoys Elsi, but Elsi is unable to stop him. Elsi understood that Dicky was attempting to avoid hurting her. Edgar had finished eating when Elsi turned to face him. Elsi caught Edgar's smile.

Dicky added nonchalantly, "I'll take you home too next time."

Edgar re-asked the girl standing next to him when Elsi failed to nod at all.

"Would you be willing to visit my home?"

"Yes."

Dicky grinned before telling him about his neighbor's house, which frequently appeared dark while having residents. Elsi was unconcerned and didn't say anything.

Asked if he was a neighbor, Edgar Satai replied, "I don't know whether I'm the neighbor and I've never come out to view it, but it appears quite closed. He stated that someone was being cared for in the house."

Elsi chewed the dish she didn't think was very appetizing and said, "You don't meddle in people's business too much."

The conversation about his neighbors continued while Edgar whispered, "No, I'm just curious—I never go outside and never say hello." Elsi didn't care, though, and simply motioned for Edgar to stop mentioning his neighbor.

"I initially thought he was ancient and had a white face, but he was rather gorgeous. He seems to be so young," Edgar tacked on.

Elsi gasped at the final phrase Edgar spoke.
