"What did you forget, Ddraig? It seemed important from your tone," Jon asked with a frown, now in his apartment. Being in the Gremory mansion, as well as visiting the massive Phenex castle, were fun and interesting things, but there was nothing like one's own home. He didn't have to worry about labels or minding his ways. In his private place, if he wanted to, he could throw his shoes away and throw himself haphazardly onto the couch while listening to Ddraig.
"You always searched for information about some way to travel through space. Well, actually, it was information about outer space in general. But, before, it completely passed me by. It was when robots and ships were mentioned that I was able to remember: in the past, when the gods walked the Earth alongside humans, they had a large number of artifacts."
"You say that in the past there was a spaceship?!" Jon asked in shock. "But, the technology at that time… Ah! Is it magic?"
"Something like that," Ddraig muttered. "And actually, it's not like there was only one of those things. I'm sure going and asking the Gods for it is a futile attempt. But, I remember one that shouldn't be in their hands. It might not work, it's probably scrap. Still, something might come out of it, right?"
"Tell me!" Jon asked immediately. Even though going back might be a futile matter, he still wanted to try. He wouldn't do it if he would lose the acquaintances he made in his time on Earth, but if he missed a lot of time between trips, then he would definitely do it! It's true that he's already gotten used to life on Earth, an extremely comfortable and exciting life, but, still, he needed to see what happened in Westeros. Did everyone die already? Did it just take a little time? Did his brothers and sisters form their families? He wanted to see it, he needed to do it to keep his mind at ease.
But, above all, he missed one person: Arya Stark, his beloved younger sister. The person who always ran after him with an excited smile. The one who pouted when she was told she couldn't train because she was a woman or the one who unleashed a huge rage when she fought with her older sister Sansa and her mother, Catelyn Stark.
Jon really missed her.
"Then we need to take a trip to the East. Honestly, I don't remember the exact place, but it should be beyond the Red Sea."
"That... doesn't help much. What exactly are we looking for?"
"The ancient city of Uruk. It should be all ruins and archaeological find stuff, but I refuse to believe that Gilgamesh left everything for the humans of the future to pick up. I hope there's some secret room! And if not, then the Gods took it all out. Although, I doubt it. The Gods of Mesopotamia are already extinct."
Jon was confused. He recognized the Greco-Roman Gods, also the Celtic and Indian ones. He even knew of the Gods of Japan and China. He had a very vague idea of the Gods of Korea, but among the latter countries, several deities could be one and the same. However, he had not read about the Mesopotamian Gods.
"Should I ask Sirzechs to help me?"
"You could. He'll know a lot more about the current situation of the world related to the Gods."
"Haaa~", Jon sighed a little heavily. "Fine. Let's do it." A magic circle appeared on the ground in front of him, causing Sirzechs' figure to suddenly appear. It wasn't a summoning, but a magic for communication. Sirzechs was smaller and his figure was a little transparent.
"Jon... Do you miss me already? I didn't think you'd call so soon."
"Who's missing you? You better go to your wife...", Jon rolled his eyes at his friend's jokes. "I was actually calling you to get information. Do you know if there's anything left of the ancient city of Uruk?"
"Uruk?", Sirzechs looked at Jon with some confusion. "Why do you want to go? It should be pieces of rocks and dust accumulated over the ages."
Jon fell silent, wondering if it was a good idea to tell him the truth about his identity. Honestly, they might not even believe him. But... "Are you alone right now?"
"No. Grayfia is by my side. But don't mind, she's the person I can trust the most."
"Humph," Jon raised his nose slightly. "I thought I was the one she trusted the most. You told me that several times! Oh, how treacherous of you."
"Ahhahaha! You really learned how to joke, Jon!"
"Anyway..." Jon frowned slightly. "Truth be told, I'm an alien."
".... Huh?" Sirzechs stared with a flat expression. He definitely didn't expect that.
"Hey! You should be more surprised! I'm someone from another world, you know?! A person who appeared on planet Earth out of nowhere! I'm kind of worn out here, you know? And Ddraig thought there might be a way to do interstellar travel."
"No, wait... Wait a minute!" Sirzechs raised his hands with wide eyes. "You... are you really serious? Aren't you crazy? Maybe you drank something bad?"
"I'm serious, Sirzechs. I remember perfectly that my planet is called Planetos. And yes, it's not the best name. But it's not like you can complain about the name of this planet. There were three continents discovered: Westeros, Essos and Sothoryos... I think. There could be more, but I didn't pay full attention to Maester Luwin's classes."
Sirzechs was silent for a long time. Then, he began to tremble a little, until he looked to the side and shouted: "Grayfia, look! I made friends with an alien!"
"Ugh... this guy," Jon covered his face with one hand while Ddraig laughed quietly.
The worst of all, were Grayfia's words. "Congratulations, Lord Sirzechs," she said, in her typical serious servant tone.
"So there's a spaceship, huh? I can see it coming from the Gods over there. The Hindu Gods are the most powerful in this Age!"
"What exactly is the object?"
"Ddraig?"
"If I recall correctly, it's called a Vimana. They were palace ships, but there were others that looked more like ships now."
"Oh..." Sirzechs muttered. "I remember one of those things. Surya, the Sun God, has one. It's huge and fast! In ancient times, the way it was shaped, it was a representation of the Sun for humans."
"To be honest, I don't think there's anything in the current territory that was Uruk. But, if you still want to go, I can find out the details."
Jon sighed and smiled. "Thank you."
"You're welcome. Anyway, if you find anything, you have to bring me stuff from another planet. Better if it's a grey octopus creature!"
"Idiot, we're humans on Planetos! I'm a damn human!"
"Ah..."
"Fuck! Why do you sound so disappointed?!" Jon stood up, completely exasperated by Sirzechs' reactions. It was as if the existence of other humans in the universe didn't even matter.
"I'll send you the information in a couple of hours," the Demon King said, completely ignoring Jon. "If there are any other interesting things, just tell me. I want to see it."
"Sure..." Jon replied before sitting back down.
. . . .
In a dark place filled with small and large screens that illuminated with a white and blue light, a man looked curiously at a received message that appeared on one of the screens. He quickly opened the message and smiled.
"Oh? Sirzechs.... But why do you need that kind of information?"
"Vimana, huh? Now I just want to know the reason why you want one," the man leaned back in his chair, thinking about what to do at that moment. A few minutes passed before he started typing on his keyboard.
"Anyway, it's interesting! Let's see what comes out of all this."
. . . .
"Are you completely sure he didn't go mad?" Grayfia asked with clear doubt.
"No. Jon isn't the type to make those kinds of lies. Besides, I looked into it, you know? Despite having IDs from years ago, I couldn't find much about his parents. Just their names and IDs. There were no jobs, studies, or even the rest of the family," Sirzechs sighed a little as he rubbed his closed eyelids.
"I don't know how he got here. It could be some God's game, but I doubt it. They wouldn't gain anything at all from this. Maybe he's a God from their world? In that case it would be more plausible. Still, it's not like it's bad to help him. Especially since he's a friend, right?"
"Well... Yes," Grayfia nodded, but then narrowed her eyes. "It's not because you want to go on a space trip, right?"
"Uh... No." Sirzechs stared at his wife for a long moment, until he felt a drop of sweat running down his back. "It's okay, yes. Wouldn't it be great to see another planet?"
Grayfia shook her head at her husband's nonsense. "You're incorrigible, dear."
