CHAPTER 15:UPROAR

UNDERWORLD POV

"Why the fuck it is so expensive right now?" One High Devil asks a clerk from a store that sells Phenex Tear.

"Well, it is due to this." The clerk then takes out a tablet and shows the high devil the reason for the increased price of Phenex Tears.

"What the fuck. It is due to that. Fuck! How the heck am I supposed to not have my peerage members get healed when they get injured?! Shit. If we lost any of our fingers that Phenex tear can be a blessing for us. Tch. Maybe it is due to Riser doing? Or not." The High Devil read further the reason and notice why the Phenex did that.

"Lucifer-sama offended them and that is the reason they increased the price. Oh, wait a minute. I see. They have Riser and that Gremory Heiress to be engaged until the Crimson Satan interferes with the plan of their supposed wedding."

"You know how does our Lucifer love his younger sister so much? I hear the Phenex almost gets destroyed by his action." The clerk said to the high devil who frowns in anger.

"Fuck. I did not believe the rumour of him being overly loving his younger sister too much and pampers her to the point threat of some devil that tries to court her but still does that toward the Noble House of Phenex, the one that is at the top spot of the economic of Underworld. Damn Siscon." The High Devil right now grit his teeth.

He and his peerage is seeking to outdo a quest that involves them in the human world.

And that mission also tells them that there are rogue exorcists that hold some devils hostage.

Rogue exorcists are human and while humans are without a doubt the weakest race on this planet, their weapons are deadly to any of their kind.

Light weapons range from their light sabre and guns that are holy that will inflict serious injury to them.

Healing magic can just usher away the feeling of the pain being hit by the holy attribute but it will take a long time to do that unless they have a member who is so good at healing magic or a Healing Type Sacred Gear.

Runo Bunne, is an Extinct Families. Their numbers are not that many with one of his cousins already joining a peerage of Sairaorg Bael.

He meanwhile decides to have his peerage with him only 2 Bishop with one is very good at Wind Magic and the other one is Lightning Magic. Both of them also learn other magic that protects, supports and heals their peers but their proficiency is not that great and slower which will disturb their fight tempo.

And his rook is a Minotaur that loves to use magic that buffs up his strength.

His Knight meanwhile is a former exorcist that socialises on creating mana blades, with only 2 in each of his hands with him able to coat anything with his mana with fire magic to increase the damage he delivers.

He has a pawn that is worth 2 pieces with his Sacred Gear is Stun Chain. As the name goes black chain will pop out from his hand or sometimes his back that will envelop the enemy which will be stun. He once endured it and had to use half of his portion to free himself.

And his pawn fainted since it uses all his stamina to bind a High-Class Devil like him.

He knows, that not everyone knows precious and useful Phenex Tear is. Any injuries and body parts can be treated by that vial.

Heck, even other factions try to smuggle some of them into their factions for a high price.

So when he sees the price is being increased due to some stupid actions from One of the Yondai Maoi that step over the boundary of what he swore when he becomes a Lucifer.

He now feels angry. He tries hard to save his own money as much as he can since he wants to gain his own pocket money through his hand, sweat and blood.

Some may say it is a stupid action but that is his way of life.

"Runo-sama." His Bishop, Elek tugs his shirt as he sees other customers are queuing behind him.

He did not want to cause a ruckus. So he had to grit his teeth and just pull out his devil card to load for the Phenex Tear.

In his heart, he curses Lucifer for foolish actions for this to happen.

And sadly this event also happens to other devils. Some are enraged toward Riser but after they thoroughly read the reasons with some inside "sources" tell them why the price of Phenex Tear increased by 5 times, they just want to strangle the Siscon Lucifer's neck for his doing that led this to happen.

"Muahahahahaha. Yes. Be angry more you devil folks." Riser Phenex said as his head then got slapped by a hand of fire as his mother glares at him.

"Put that phone down right now Riser. Mind the table manner. If you want to laugh like an evil madman do it after we finish our lunch." His mother said with a tone that Riser gulped as he put away his phone with him and continue to eat his pasta.

Today the lunch only has Riser, Ravel and his mother. His older siblings are still doing quests that take time to complete with his father asleep on his bed.

Well, the reason he is like that is that he wants to ease his mind to face own the headache that he will need to face after doing that stunt.

Nah, he just wants to have around and sleep for a whole day after pulling up an all-nighter and completing any paperwork.

RISER POV

"Thank you for the lunch. That is delicious." I mutter as I wipe my mouth and start to sip the apple juice.

"Riser. I hope you are ready to face what is happening right now." My mother said.

"Hah. I am ready. Do not worry about it. " I replied.

"Sometimes I can not read you Onii-sama," Ravel commented as I just smirk with us then now sit in the living room as my mother just has that creepy smile on her face her keeps typing something very fast with Ravel just scrolling off the news of the sudden increasing price of Phenex Tears.

As for the great me, I just laugh and made so many laughing emojis with my taunt that many people dislike, like and curse which made me continue to send many middle finger emojis.

Yeah, I have the balls to do them.

"Well as much as I want to continue to taunt that Siscon and made more people hate him, I need to excuse myself to train this gracious body." I then walk away leaving my mother and little sister.

"Fufufufu.# SisconLucifer. Yes, that hashtag shall be the trending one for this entire month." Lady Phenex said as she let out an evil chuckle with Ravel impressed with her mother's typing speed that she was not able to follow.

"Mother. I also will excuse. I need to do some study." She said to her mother who jist nod her head and signal her to go ahead.

"Okay. You template system. Sorry I sleep yesterday and forgot to ask about you. So tell me about you and your function?" I ask my system that now rings in my head.

"Cool. That means I did not have to train that hard to make my template character percentage 100%. But still, from this memory, I can run a hundred miles per hour with ease. I mean it makes sense since some children have overpowered power like that Franklin Richard from Marvel. He can create a pocket with ease on his bed without any training. And he can fight Galactus alone. "

Taking a deep breath I ready myself to go for a run and both my leg feel like they just want to explode with my heart thumping very fast and loud.

*FWOOSHH* And my body move forward as my mouth kisses the wall of the training ground I see some debris enters my mouth as my entire face crash through the wall.

Fucking hell. That hurt and a little creepy seeing my face slowly being torn due to the sudden force of the previous stunt that made me to pull out my head from the wall.

"Fuck." I curse as I had to spit out some debris pieces from the inside of my mouth.

"Okay. Just gaining his memories does not make me become a true speedster. I embarrass myself back there." I mutter as I slap my cheeks to focus.

"Okay. Calm down your nerves and just run. Yeah, my definition of run needed to be corrected since I cannot adjust to my speed of running." My body blurred as this time I had to use both my arms to stop my face to be torn again.

But my arm as result gets bent as I slowly see how they get bent in a slow motion.

The pain made me curse loudly as I had to close my eyes enduring the pain.

Both my arm now is slowly being regenerated as I feel like the inside bones get poked out from inside of my arms.

Yeah, the price of me thinking this is going to be easy.

My arms get healed as I take a deep breath.

I close my eyes as I view the memory of the young Pietro Maximoff when he is running.

Yes, feel it. I slowly run as my body jerked fast forward which catches me off guard but this time I did not have my face stamped on the wall again as I turn to the left which damages my right shoulder as I drag run through it.

"Fuck. This is painful." My bone cracks damn it.

Okay, I get the gist of it. Now to get used to it. The memory muscles slowly kick in.

The reason I make mistakes is due to my eagerness and excitement that I did not able to contain in myself.

They clouded my focus, this is why I made these stupid mistakes.

I need to push aside the giddy side of my becoming the speedster that I always wanted to be and focus to run the circle in this training place.

"How is Onii-sama move that fast? " Ravel, who wants to go to the library to study some books decides to stop by to look at his older brother training at the training ground.

So imagine her surprise when she sees his older brother zoom forward and has his head buried in the wall.

She had to wipe her eyes seeing this as he never sees his older brother run or moves that fast.

And she knows no Phenex naturally moves that fast without the help of fire. She once sees his older brother the oldest one use that to increase his speed to defeat his opponent by blasting flame from both of his hands where he drops and kicks his opponent on the hand.

But when his brother Riser moves the second and third time she notices no fire in his movements.

"He is that fast?!" Ravel's mind thinks of that.

"No way." She muttered as she did not believe what she sees right now.
