Day 7 of the Games and the Shock?

"Sir, ard you ready for today? Its the last event and you have to meet the other faction leaders as well" Aureole informed me.

"I'm prepared. Have Yasaka be ready to accompany me."

I get up out of my seat in the office and straighten out my jacket. I dont know why but anytime im not wearing this black jacket i feel uncomfortable. I meet up with Yasaka in the hall wearing another exquisite dress.

"Beautiful as always Yasaka. Where are Shana and Kunuo?"

"Oh Delta is gettting them ready for the last day festivals. They wanted to make sure they visit every cart and stall" she replied with a smile.

Now we're headed to the meeting room where the heads of the other factions who attended are waiting with Yasaka at my side. Entering the room to find Serafall and Sirzechs both sitting there representing the devils, Azazel and Baraqiel stood for the Fallen, Odin and Frigga stood for Asgard, Michael and Gabriel stood for Heaven, and Dumbledore and Maxine were here on behalf of the ICW.

"I want to thank you all for coming on short notice. First and foremost i hope you all enjoyed your stay on the Phoenix Isles. After todays event there will be a fireworks ceremony and then we will be dissolving the time dilation. Now we're here because you all have questions you needed answered before we close the events?"

"Ah ill start" Dumbledore spoke up "I have my concerns about your school. Will it not take a lot of young talents from our own schools?"

"Rest assured, our magical academy only accepts students 16 and up. We're not here to teach from the basics. We teach more diverse subjects such as runic schemes, space magic, time theory, alchemy etc. Your schools should have minimum effects from our actions."

"What about the security measures for the more supernatural side?" Azazel

"Other than Merlin who's already probably the strongest witch on this planet along with the elite members of my Arcobaleno there should be no issues."

"I've heard your plan was to have a devil take over for Merlin in a few years though. May i ask why a devil specifically?" Michael questioned

"It's not because she's a devil. It's because she's Sona who just happens to be a devil. If she were and Angel or Yokai the position would be the same."

The members threw back a couple more questions which Yasaka and I took a bit of time to answer before proceeding out to our VIP box.

The last challenge was a Match. All teams have to be present. 1 team picks the right to challenge. They can challenge any member from any team. Whoever they challenge has the right to issue a handicap. For example Sairaorg can challenge Ashleen, who could then request the battle to be no physical contact. When a team has 3 losses they're out. For Vali its when he losses twice.

"DADDY!" a voice yelled bringing me out of my narration. I turn my head to catch the little red rocket flying at me.

"Ah Shana, what did i say about flying into people?"

"Hit em hard and make em cry!" she exclaimed with a biig smile making me proud.

"That's right, violence is always the answer swee~ ouchhhh that's my earrr. Gabrielll"

At that moment the announcer came up to hype up the crowd and to announce who's the first to challenge.

"AND OUR FIRST COMPETITOR IS.....MERLIN FROM TEAM PHOENIX!"

"Oh Daddy is sister Merlin super strong?" Shana asked.

"Oh course, Merlin is the strongest magician ever lived."

Dumbledore looked over and tried to flex with "Hoooh youth. Sure she's a great witch but she still has much to learn and experience."

I cant help myself from frowning at his words. Merlin is older than you old man. What kind of rubbish. I feel my body heat up and Yasaka just pats my hand bringing me back and calming me down.

"Thank you" i whisper "You're definitely the right choice to leave as queen in charge."

She smiles and we turn our heads to see Merlin get up on stage and slowly speak.

"My challenge right will be, all the other competitors."

.....

"WHAT?"

"CAN SHE DO THAT?"

"OYE LADY! YOURE NUTS!"

"DID YOU NOT SEE THAT ONE GUY SHAKE SPACE?"

"WOMEN! AM I RIGHT? Ouch! Why'd hit me dear?"

The whole audience was in uproar not to mention the other contestants who all felt like we were looking down on them.

I decided to step in with the words "I'LL ALLOW IT!"

Seeing that i dont care, Perona allowed them all to climb the stage against Merlin. The crowd all looked anxious, was this something a woman could do? Sure they've seen her do weird magic but 1 person against over 20 other mid-high class supernaturals won't be a simple fight.

Merlin walked forward and said with a domineering attitude. "Now hurry up, choose your restriction so i can get on with my day."

Watching the different groups discuss the fairness oc f the extra restriction Yasaka turned to me and asked "You said i can rely on her to be a backer against threats, but how strong could she really be?"

I just smile as Merlin took her place amongst her opponents. "We decided, your restriction is no spells. You have to fight magicless."

She looked at Perona who nodded in agreement as she began the match.

Merlin walked forward and said "Since im going to be a teacher let me explain something. " She created a giant mana ball and said "I dont need a spell to do magic. And i dont need magic to win."

She unleashed her pure magic power shaking the island with its sheer immense power and force. Every contestant in front of her dropped to the ground with the white of their eyes showing.

Merlin turned around much to the shock of the entire venue as Perona calls out the final announcement

"AND THE WINNER IS MERLIN. MAKING TEAM PHOENIX OUR WINNERS!"
