Chapter 24 Officially Meeting The Sitri Peerage!

After Tsubaki, Sona, and I cleaned everything up, and ate my welcoming cake, we left the school together to go to Sona's home to meet the peerage.

Sona is a very strict woman and even in her happy moments, she quizzes me on topics on the way to my second home.

"Motohama, what is the difference between Demonic-Power and Magic?"

"Demonic-power is something which you use to turn your imagination into actual form, and magic is something where you use equations to make supernatural phenomena occur. Demonic-Power requires the power to use imagination and the power to create, and it requires having good sense. Magic is just knowledge to control equations, and you need to use your head and need calculations, so they are different even though they may seem similar."

"Correct, that is almost right out of the book, good. and the final question before we go inside... What is the noble ranking of the Devils in the Underworld?"

"Devil-King, Great-King and Arch-Duke are extremely important… The high-class devils are Duke, Prince, Marquess, Count, Viscount and Baron. The middle-class devils Baronet and Knight. And the commoners are the low-class, like me."

Sona held my hand and said.

"You wont stay low-class for long, I promise."

I kiss the back of her hand and smile.

"Noble rank does not affect my pride as a Dragon, only the stigma of servant. Strength is everything in the Underworld, and that is something I will have a lot of soon. Trust me they will most likely make me high-class in 12-16 months, easy."

As we got to Sona's front-door, Tsubaki opened it for us and the three of us walked in.

I called home and the dojo to let them know I won't be home tonight, and Sona called all of the current peerage here for their meeting.

Sona does not have full control of the Student Council office yet till next school-year, so they do their Devil work from Sona's home.

Due to my Devil body still settling for the 24 hour period, I am stopping any-form of training for the weekend to let my senses catch up. Just like Issei in the anime, I have to get used to my supernatural hearing, smell, sight, touch, taste, and strength.

I can feel the night is strengthening me and making my mind feel calm. Just like when a human is in complete-darkness they feel nervous and ill at ease, but when they get light and can see, their body relaxes. This is the best description for how night feels for Devils.

The most notable feature of the Devil is the ability to see with no light at all. This is like having the lights on all the time, but I am sure the sun will be extra annoying till I light temper my body.

Sona brought me to the main couch in her living area for guests and the peerage. We sat and she is on my left shoulder to shoulder, but not hugging and cuddling. She is a very conservative woman, and wants to wait till the official wedding to be 'openly romantic'. I however fully expected this from her.

But she also is sitting like this to show her primary wife status and to tell others I am not a common servant. However the blush on her cheeks spoils her stoic look.

Tsubaki then asks me.

"Motohama, can I get you something to drink?"

"Ah? Well if you show me the kitchen I can just get it."

Tsubaki just smiles at my human thinking, and Sona corrects me.

"Dear, your status has changed, and Tsubaki is doing a Queen's duty. I know you like equality for those close to you, but now as a Devil of Sitri, we must show our stations. Tsubaki is in no way a slave in my heart, but to all outside observers she is."

Tsubaki bows her head to me slightly and confirms.

"Motohama, please be assured in your heart, me serving you like this makes me happy, so just let me know how I can help. As Sona's fiance, I will treat you with equal respect and attentiveness, because I want to."

Only my Earth side had the slightest issue, but me from Gaia, was an Elf King with thousands of servants, and I too did not look down on them. My servants in that life were also my lovers, and serving brought them joy, so....

"Then Tsubaki, I will rely on you from now on, but... Please ignore me if anything makes you feel uncomfortable, that is my only request. And do you have whisky?"

Tsubaki smiles and tells me.

"Yes we do, we had it for guests, and Sona a juice for you?"

"Yes, thank you Tsubaki."

As she left to get us our drinks, Sona leaned in and said.

"Thank you for understanding. Devil culture will feel normal after a few years at the most, but seeing you just now, I would say you will fit in faster."

I pat her hand and assure her.

"I know you're one of the better, more modern Devil Houses, and the reason I wanted to be with you. I did compliment Rias before for being good to her servants, but that does not mean you are not. You're just kind in a strict way. I will be the good cop and I will let you be the bad cop."

Sona looks at me over her glasses-frames like I am messing with her, well I am, but she then tells me with a smile.

"I will tell my parents tonight, then we will have to set a party to formally introduce you as my fiance, and then I want to marry after Christmas, is that alright with you?"

"Yeah, but I am afraid of only the Devil King Leviathan! Is she going to hurt me or kill me?"

Sona, seeing the actual fear in my face, is amused and teased me.

"Our Sitri domain has the best hospitals in all the Underworld or Earth, so I can patch you up, don't worry."

I don't catch the mischief in her eye's as I blurt.

"Can we just elope and not tell her?"

Sona smiles and pokes my forehead and assures me.

"I already thought of that and warned her about you already, and I said if so much as a hair of yours is hurt, she was not coming to the wedding. She will most definitely cry and embarrass us though, I can't do anything about that, sigh."

I pat my chest in pride and tell her.

"My skin is the thickest and most shameful, so she won't embarrass me at all." (A/N Remember this moment, cough.)

At this time Tsubaki came in with the drinks and placed them on the table in front of us, she too had a juice, then she sat next to Sona, but I caught her look to my right for a split second, due to my new Devil senses.

A few minutes later the front door opened and the rest of the peerage came in and when Momo saw me sitting on Sona's side she smiled a truly happy smile.

Yura in surprise pointed at me and asked.

"Ryu, did you actually?"

Momo sat on my right and held my arm, and then Sona said.

"All of you sit so I can announce a few things, good... First, Reya Kusaka, Yura Tsubasa, Momo Hanakai, Meguri Tomoe officially meet Motohama Ryu, our new Pawn and my soon to be husband and current Red Dragon Emperor. When we marry he will become Motohama Sitri. So I expect all of you to treat him with respect as my future husband understood?"

Momo asked.

"So? Moto finally won my King?"

Sona blushed a bit for such an obvious question, but Tsubaki betrayed her.

"Three times in a row and the last game was a one sided slaughter, fufu."

"Tsubaki!"

Sona in shame scolded her Queen, but Tsubaki closed her eyes and looked proper.

"Sorry my King, that was not proper, giggle."

Sona rolled her eyes at her Queen who seemed to be very happy tonight. She then said.

"I would like Motohama to learn about our contract work firsthand, so i will let him follow one of you around for a week to shadow, dear, is this fine with you? This way you can do your own work to raise your rank even just a bit?"

"Yeah, when I said I did not want the negative status, it did not mean I was going to sponge off my wife. I still need to have self respect as a Devil. I can't use all of Ddraig's accumulated fame as my only credibility. To hold my head up high, I have to work."

Momo said in excitement. If this story is on any-other site than Scribble Hub, then it was stolen without permission!

"Moto can shadow me Sona!"

"Denied! You wont get any-work done and just make-out, so I will have Motohama shadow Yura, if that's alright dear?"

"Perfect, we go to training together all the time so seeing us together won't seem out of place as well. We have known each-other for almost half a year now, so I agree."

"Leave it to me Sona, he and I get along well. Plus he took good care of my dad while we were gone, so I want to pay him back by teaching him something more than Karate."

"Then show him flyers tomorrow then contracts for the remaining 6 days. Also dear, in one week I will bring you to acquire a familiar to help you with your Devil work and to take your place in school when you are busy. I will help you choose a good one, okay?"

"Sounds good, but what about my magic practice?"

Tsubaki and Momo both said at the same time.

""I will do it!""

I had not noticed what the girls with Pink-Lines did, but the three girls, Sona, Tsubaki, and Momo felt a comfortable feeling for one another, more than the Evil Piece system ever gave them. So Momo and Tsubaki did not fight each other on who would teach me. Sona said.

"After contracts are done, we three will alternate different magic subjects. Momo you will teach about demonic-power management and recovery magic, Tsubaki you will teach general Devil Magic, and I will teach water and Ice, this way we won't overlap what we teach and he will have three diverse teachers."

"Thank you girls, all four of you will make my transition easy I am sure, so please take care of me."

So with whisky in hand and a room full of sexy Devils, we all got to know more about one another and our backgrounds. Sona allowed them to skip work today and they were all happy.

No, I have no interest in the other Bishop or the Knight, so even if they are friendly I don't try to get close.

I imagine them as just servants to keep me from being a lust-monster like my past selves.

Tsubaki is a woman I am confident I won't let escape my clutches, due to the fact she is cute, and I like her, and she seems to like me, I think.

Momo and Sona are as good as married, so I don't even think about it, but...

Yura, the daughter of my Teacher, gives me complicated feelings in my heart. So I wont put her in any box. I am fine just being friends, or more?

I will just follow whatever Yura wants and put no pressure on us.

If it's meant to be it will be, but I am alright as long as she is happy, yeah that's it, if she is happy!

And so ended my first day as a Devil!
