DxD: Mechanic's Scrapyard

A street rat with an uncanny affinity for machines reincarnates into a world he, now she, has no knowledge of. Being a child again in the wrong gender at that was a bit weird, but that was nothing compared to finding out what sort of beings she was now living amongst. She shrugged her shoulders "Well as long as they don't mess with my scrapyard." --- Author Note: Just a disclaimer for those who don't like OP MC's, she will be pretty OP and I don't really like situations where stories forces the MC to go against someone they literally have no chance of winning against. For those curious about Romance? I don't know, pretty much nothing is planned, however if I do decide to try, the love interest will also be female. The Cover picture is Jona from Alchemy Stars.

Chapter 11 - First Visitor

A few days later Okita was on the way back to the school. Rias in all her excitement to finally see a 'Japanese high-school' left without him, and with another Ultimate-class being presumably taking camp somewhere near the city, he didn't want her alone for too long. She had her peerage with her but none of them were even close to contending with someone that strong, even if they worked together.

Holding the pace of a quick walk down the hallway to the designated teleportation area, he found himself a bit curious if his little student in the sword had made any progress since their last spar. Lost in thought, it wasn't long before he arrived and quickly teleported.

Arriving at the school he looked around for a bit before heading in the direction he could sense Rias and her peerage. While walking through the school, he got the feeling that he got more looks than normal, even though he didn't really see the need for the illusion he had put on himself to hide his sword his king was somewhat insistent, so he was a bit confused. He didn't think any normal humans could see through it.

After discreetly looking around, he concluded that they hadn't seen through his disguise as he'd image there would be alot more panic upon seeing someone walking around with a sword attached to his hip. Discarding the thought he continued his walk, not hearing the whispers around him.

"Hey look, he's really handsome!"

"Yeah, I know right. What's that on his back though?"

"Maybe his little sister played a prank on him and he pretended to ignored it to make her happy?"

"How cute."

Eventually arriving at the room he could sense Rias and Sona in, he knocked on the door slightly before entering. Sliding the door open he glanced around the room and saw Rias, her peerage barring her bishop, Sona and her queen. Closing the door behind him, he spoke with an easy going smile on his face while walking towards the back of the room.

"Hello Rias, Sona."

Turning her head from the chessboard between her and Sona, Rias looked up to see her brother's knight as she spoke in slight surprise.

"Oh, Okita-san you're... here...?"

Hearing the slight hesitation at the end of her sentence, Okita assumed it was because of his presence. Mentally sighing, thinking that his king didn't tell her, he started explaining the reason he was here while walking around the room.

"Ah yeah... you see, there's been a bit of a situation. While I was here a few days ago to inspect the school, I met a human strong enough to fight against me, possibly even win. After I reported to your brother, he sent me here just in case anything were to happen-"

Slowly turning around after making a lap around the room, Okita saw everyone sort of staring at his back in confusion. The room descended into silence for a few moments before a hesitant voice spoke up.

"Um... Okita-sensei, what's that on your back?"

Hearing his student's question, he lifted an eyebrow before taking off his haori and turning it around to have a look.

"Is there something on my-"

Holding his haori in his hands, he stared blankly at the very pink name and the doodles around it. Thinking back to when he met the girl and her first 'attack', he went quiet for a bit. A few moments later he inhaled before heaving a massive sigh, giving off an aura of resignation as he put his haori back on again and started walking towards the door.

"I'm gonna go see if I can find anything around the city, don't go too far from the academy before I get back."

Okita rubbed his temples while ignoring everyone else's reactions.

---

Seeing her brother's knight leave through the door, Rias was still confused. Turning towards Kiba she asked.

"Do you know if Okita-san is close to anyone named Koko?"

Kiba looked even more confused than her as he answered hesitantly while scratching at his temple.

"Not that I... know of?"

---

Having looked through most of the city and not found anything, Okita went a lap around the city's perimeter and found another road leading to the city's junkyard. Sprinting down the path, he quickly saw a wall appearing through the gaps in the trees. Walking up to the gate, he looked up expecting to see 'Kuoh City Junkyard' or something similar when he did a double take.

Hung in front of the original sign was a slightly wonky metal plate which had 'Koko's Scrapyard - Go Away' carved into it. Staring blankly at the slightly tilted sign for a moment, he concluded that he'd found where the girl had set up her base.

Walking closer to the gate, he was suddenly assaulted by the feeling of the surroundings compressing as he was forced into a kneeling position while a few narrow barreled cannons appeared from the wall and a few of the scrap piles peeking over it, locking onto his person.

Quickly trying to stand up had no results so he couln't do much other than wait, luckily they receded a few seconds later as the pressure gradually disappeared and he could stand up again. Feeling the cold sweat running down his back he quickly re-evaluated the threat rating of the girl, if she could force an Ultimate-class being into a kneeling position and keep them there, she was extremely dangerous.

Not long after, he heard a series of bangs, like metal slamming against metal, in gradually increasing intensity before a side of one of the scrap piles slid open. Stepping out of it was none other than Koko who's tanned skin was slightly glistening in sweat, as if she had just finished a workout. She was also holding a rather large hammer in her gloved hand, and had a few spots of oil and ash on her clothes and body

Lifting the goggles she wore from her eyes, she looked towards the entrance of the scrapyard and saw the devil from a few days back. Putting down the hammer and leaning it against the scrap pile, she waved happily while waking towards the gate.

"Oi~, Century Geezer!"

On the other side, Okita could feel his eye twitch as the beginning of a monstrous headache appeared.
