Rating Game Waiting Room
Rias was sitting on the sofa in the waiting room, with Kiba and Koneko by her side. Akeno and Kaito were standing near the entrance. The atmosphere was heavy with tension and anticipation. The silence was broken only by the soft sound of each one's breathing as they awaited the start of the Rating Game.
"Is everyone ready?" Rias asked, looking at each of her companions.
"Yes, Rias," Kiba replied with a confident smile. "We're ready to do our best."
"Of course," Koneko said as she adjusted her gloves, her gaze determined.
"Let's show Riser what we're capable of," Akeno said while fixing her hair, her usual confident smile on her face.
Kaito was leaning against the wall, observing the team. "We have a good strategy. We just need to execute it perfectly," he said, his eyes shining with determination.
Rias stood up, walking to the center of the room where a table with the arena map was laid out. She looked at each of her companions, her face serious. "Let's review our strategy one more time."
She pointed to the map. "Usually, the King and Queen stay in the rear while the rest of the Peerage advances. Akeno and I will hold a defensive position, ready to support with magic when needed. Kaito, you'll lead the attack with Koneko and Kiba."
"Understood," Kaito said while studying the map. "Let's keep communication open and adjust the strategy as needed."
Rias nodded, satisfied with Kaito's confirmation. "Remember, our priority is victory, but we also need to take care of each other. Any sign of danger, retreat immediately."
Kaito looked at Rias and Akeno, a serious expression on his face. "Take care. We'll come back with the victory." He bid them farewell with a nod and then headed to the door with Kiba and Koneko.
Rias and Akeno watched as the three walked away, their expressions filled with expectation and hope. "Good luck," Rias murmured, more to herself than to the others.
"May luck be with them," Akeno said, smiling slightly.
Kaito, Kiba, and Koneko left the waiting room, ready to face the challenge ahead. Kaito turned to the two as they walked down the corridor.
"Kiba, Koneko, stay together and keep moving. I'll scout the battlefield and make sure there are no surprises," Kaito said firmly.
Kiba nodded, understanding the importance of the strategy. "Understood, Kaito. We'll cover as much ground as possible."
Koneko, always direct, just murmured a "Yes" before following Kiba.
Kaito moved away from the group, quickly moving through the corridors of the arena that mimicked the school. He knew every second counted and any advantage could be crucial.
School Gymnasium
Kaito reached the school gymnasium, a large open area that offered little cover. His senses were on high alert, looking for any sign of the enemy. He didn't have to wait long.
Suddenly, two figures appeared at the gym entrance. Ile and Nel, the twins from Riser's Peerage, entered with arrogant smiles on their faces. Right behind them, Ni and Li appeared, completing the pair of twins.
"You must be Kaito," said Ile with a disdainful smile. "Riser talked a lot about you."
"We're here to take you down," Nel added, a malicious gleam in her eyes.
Kaito observed the four twins, analyzing their stances and looking for weaknesses. 'Riser didn't choose his Peerage for strength, but for appearance,' he thought, noticing the lack of seriousness in the choice of his opponents.
Ile and Nel advanced together, while Ni and Li stayed back, ready to attack. Kaito knew he needed to be quick and precise. He took a deep breath, concentrating his energy and preparing for the battle that was about to begin.
School Gymnasium
Kaito kept his eyes fixed on the four twins, feeling the tension in the air increase. He knew he needed to be quick and precise, taking advantage of any opening that arose. Ile and Nel advanced first, their chainsaws emitting fiery sparks as they buzzed.
"You'll regret facing Riser's Peerage," said Ile as she approached quickly, the chainsaw buzzing menacingly.
"It seems you underestimate our strength," Nel said with a laugh, raising her chainsaw to attack.
Kaito remained calm, analyzing their movements. When Ile and Nel got close enough, he concentrated his energy, creating a powerful gust of wind that pushed them back, destabilizing their positions.
*WHOOSH!*
Ile and Nel staggered but quickly recovered, advancing again with the flaming chainsaws. Kaito, however, was ready. With an agile move, he dodged the attacks, moving like a shadow through the gym.
"You're fast, but you can't escape us forever," said Ile, frustrated as she tried to hit Kaito.
Nel laughed, though a bit irritated. "Let's finish this once and for all!"
As Ile and Nel continued to attack, Kaito remained calm, controlling the wind around him. With a swift move, he created a current of air that swirled around the twins, lifting them off the ground and spinning them in the air.
*WHIRL!*
Ni and Li, watching the scene, decided to join the fight, their cheerful expressions contrasting with the intensity of the battle. "Let's help our friends, Nya!" said Ni, running forward with a smile.
"Yes, let's finish him together, Nya!" said Li, her eyes gleaming with excitement.
Ni and Li advanced with powerful punches and kicks, but Kaito was prepared. He used the wind to increase his speed, easily dodging their attacks. With precise moves, he counterattacked, creating gusts of wind that pushed them away.
*BAM! BAM!*
"You're stronger than we expected," said Ni, getting up after being pushed back.
"But we won't give up so easily!" Li added, determined.
Kaito kept his serious expression, observing each of the twins' movements. "You underestimated my power," he said firmly. "And now, you'll pay for it."
With a decisive move, Kaito concentrated his energy, creating a tornado that enveloped the four twins. The wind swirled with incredible force, lifting them off the ground and spinning them in the air, unable to break free.
*WHOOSH!*
Ile and Nel tried to use their chainsaws to cut through the wind, but the tornado's force was overwhelming. Ni and Li, despite their physical strength, also couldn't resist the intensity of Kaito's magic.
With one final move, Kaito intensified the tornado, throwing the twins away, where they fell to the ground, defeated.
*THUD!*
Kaito took a deep breath, feeling the adrenaline of the battle begin to subside. He looked at the fallen twins, knowing that victory was just a step in the right direction.
Suddenly, a familiar voice echoed through the gym.
"The four pawns of Riser have been removed from the battle," Grayfia said as her holographic image floated in the air, her expression calm and imposing.
Kaito remained indifferent, observing the twins once more before turning and leaving the gym. He knew there were more battles ahead and he had no time to waste.
Rating Game Waiting Room
While Kaito advanced through the battlefield, Rias and Akeno were in the waiting room, monitoring the situation through a magical panel.
"He did a great job," Rias said, a satisfied smile on her face.
"Yes, Kaito is really impressive," Akeno said as she adjusted her hair, a proud gleam in her eyes.
They briefly celebrated, feeling hope rise. Kaito's victory against Riser's twins was a great boost to the group's morale.
Observation Area
In an observation area, Sirzechs and Azazel watched the battle through a magical screen. Azazel was intrigued by Kaito's performance.
"That boy is a fairy, isn't he?" Azazel asked, his gaze fixed on the screen.
"Yes," Sirzechs confirmed, his voice calm. "He is a fairy, but he also possesses demonic abilities."
Azazel was visibly pleased with the discovery, his eyes gleaming with enthusiasm. "I always believed fairies were extinct. Seeing one here, and fighting so well, is fascinating."
Sirzechs looked at Azazel with seriousness. "Don't try anything with him, Azazel. Kaito is valuable to us."
"I know, I know," Azazel said, raising his hands in a peaceful gesture. "I'm just surprised. He is truly special."
Sirzechs nodded, keeping his gaze firm. "Yes, he is. And that's why we need to ensure he's on our side."
Sirzechs had a clear plan in mind. He not only saw Kaito as a valuable ally but also as a key piece in his own revenge. 'Kaito's race was destroyed by the Greek gods. We have a common enemy,' Sirzechs thought, feeling the anger grow as he remembered the past.
Azazel, observing Sirzechs, noticed the intensity of his thoughts. 'Sirzechs wants to use the boy to get revenge,' Azazel reflected. 'Well, I can't blame him. Zeus was really reckless in making that offer for Grayfia's body and openly disrespecting Sirzechs. Although many beings desire Grayfia, even I do, no one exposes it openly. If this matter became public, it would be much worse.'
Azazel knew the situation was delicate. He also had his own motivations and interests but recognized the importance of maintaining the alliance with Sirzechs. 'Kaito is an important asset, and Sirzechs will use that to his advantage,' Azazel thought, understanding the depth of Sirzechs' plan.
