The Beginning

-Prefecture of Kyoto, Kyoto-

Kyoto is one of the most important cities in the whole country of Japan. It is not only one of the biggest cities, but also because of one particular race that is residing here– Youkais'. Just like humans, they are also under the protection of the Shinto Pantheon, though not directly.

Humans are mostly weak, and that is why Five Principal Clans, who are blessed by Shinto gods and goddesses, are protecting the humans that do not have any connections to Supernatural World. Youkai's are clearly stronger than humans, thus they are not blessed by Shinto Pantheon. They are mostly dealing with their own race, and they do not tend to interact with humans too much. But of course, if the whole of Japan is in danger, all three factions will unite as one alliance, and fight together.

Right now a male Youkai was running through the night streets of Kyoto. But those were not normal streets of Kyoto that humans have access to, it was a place called Urakyoto. It was located on the other side of Kyoto, being an alternate dimension. Most of Youkai's that are in Japan reside here. It is ruled by a Nine-Tailed Fox named Hayami, which comes from the Royal Bloodline of Kyubi.

The Youkai that was running had short white hair, golden-brown eyes, and a sharp facial structure. He wore white Miko kimono which had loose sleeves and a pair of wooden sandals without socks. It was hard to tell which kind of Youkai he was, as there was no distinctive feature. In his hand, a relatively small wooden box could be seen, with something written on it.

Behind him, a guy was running. He had dark-brown hair and blue eyes. He wore a simple outfit thanks to which he could move more freely. It was hard to tell if he was a Youkai or a human because Youkais could naturally hide their inhuman-like features. After running for pretty long, he yelled at the white-haired Youkai in front of him: "Give it back! You do not know how dangerous it can be!"

When the Youkai heard it, he did not turn around, but he still answered with a yell: "What do you know?! I know that this thing can make me stronger! I will finally be strong enough so that my family would acknowledge me!"

A guy that was chasing Youkai frowned and asked: "Who told you such bullsh*t?! This thing will just kill you! You do not even want to know what this item inside the box actually is!"

Youkai stopped. They already run out of the city's main streets and were now somewhere on the outskirts. "I do not care what you say! I met a woman yesterday. She was definitely beautiful, but I could not care less about it her beauty, but her strength was something else entirely. It was so overwhelming. She told me that if I found this and used it on myself," He showed a wooden box, "Then I can get the same strength! She just wanted me to do one matter later, and I accepted her deal, after which we made a quick pact. She showed me where to get it, and said that she will contact me later. And now, I can finally fulfill my cherished dream that I was running after for my whole life. Even if this thing is sealed, I can clearly sense the strength that is coming from it." He said with a smile on his lips.

When a guy in front of the Youkai heard his story, he said: "Don't! Isn't it weird? This whole story? And you will trust some stranger so easily?!" He yelled at him in frustration. He thought that he is dealing with some kind of child. "I can not really tell you about this object in your hands, but fine. It is a Cursed Object. Special Grade to be precise. It contains a strong Curse Spirit inside it, and who knows what may happen to you if you really use it on yourself." He stopped talking here. He narrowed his eyes at Youkai and made a really serious expression. "Give it back, this is the last warning. If not, I will not hesitate to kill you, so I can get it back to the safety."

"I rather trust her words than yours." He then opened the box and saw that the object was wrapped in strong talismans. He proceeded to unwrap it, but the man in front of him did not wait for any further and rushed towards him with intent to kill. Youkai stopped unwrapping the object and waved with his hand.

In front of him, six pure white foxes with red markings on their heads appeared. "Go! Distract him for some time! I need to unwrap it!" As he commanded, the foxes run forwards and attacked the guy that was running towards Youkai.

"Tsk." The man clicked his tongue in annoyance. 'This is really bad. If this would be a normal Special Grade Cursed Object, then all would not be that bad... but it is the Cursed Object of 'him'... I have to deal with those foxes before this crazy guy will consume the object.' He thought.

While he was killing the foxes one by one, the Youkai already unwrapped the object. What he saw was a creepy-looking finger. He then remembered the words that the woman said back then 'Eat it, and you will acquire the strength that you desire that much.'

He then looked towards the man and saw that he was already dealing with his last familiar. Even though he hesitated a bit, he still ate the finger.

Meanwhile, the guy finally killed the last fox. He then looked towards the Youkai. When he saw that he was about to eat the finger, he yelled with a shocked expression: "Do not eat it, idiot!" But... it was already too late.

Youkai ate the finger and frowned. 'Why does it taste like a soap?' He wondered inside his head. But a second later, his head hurt in pain. He has never felt such pain before and because of it, he lost his consciousness instantly.

The man looked at the Youkai with shock. He then saw that Youkai was transforming a bit, his hair was dyed pink, fingernails grew longer, and changed color from white to purple. Two extra eyes opened under his two previously normal eyes. The most distinguishable feature of all of them that appeared were black markings. They were located on his forehead, nose, and cheeks.

He then watched around with a large grin. "Ahh, I am finally back! What a wonderful night~! It is sad this is an area of Youkai's... Would kill all of them here otherwise. But it does not matter right now... I finally acquired a body~." He monologued in jovial tone. He then turned around and watched towards the man.

"Hoo~? A sorcerer? Seems like a few of you are still active despite what happened hundred years ago... But that should not matter, I am finally free once again..." He then watched towards the Sorcerer in front of him, which sent shivers down the spine of Sorcerer, and said: "So little time and so many things to do. I will start with you. I must test my new body after all. Though his voice still talks in my mind, how annoying. Should get rid of him as soon as possible..." As he mumbled last words, he disappeared from the spot and appeared in front of the Sorcerer.

The Sorcerer did not even have time to react as he was sent flying. He crashed 50 meters away face to the ground. He slowly stood up and looked at the monster who was walking towards him.

'Tsk. So unlucky. It was a finger of Sukuna. Damn Youkai. Even with one finger, he is already so powerful. And he has a body of Youkai... My odds are pretty low right now.'

"That body is definitely not bad. Though still pretty weak for my standards, but it should be enough to deal with you." Sukuna said with a nonchalant smile and rushed forward. He coated his fist in cursed energy and struck towards the Sorcerer.

The hit missed the Sorcerer, but the ground and trees near him were completely destroyed. 'Hah, this body feels different. And I can say that there is something more to it. But I should test my body limits later. For now, I should just kill this brat.' Sukuna thought to himself. He did not go much further and just slashed with his towards the Sorcerer. Sorcerers' body was immediately cut into pieces which fell onto the ground.

"How pathetically weak... Even with this low strength of mine at the moment, he did not even stand one attack... But whatever." He then looked in a certain direction "You can come out. There is no point in hiding." Few seconds passed, and a person from behind the woods came out. The person had a hood on top of herself. After looking at Sukuna for some time, the figure ran towards Sukuna.

Sukuna was about to attack this person but stopped immediately when the hood came down and showed the face of the person. The same person crushed on Sukuna at a high speed and immediately hugged him. Sukuna felt that his kimono is getting wetter from the tears that she cries.

He was about to say something but stopped that thought immediately. "You are finally back, Sukuna..." Tamamo said with a smile and eyes full of tears. Sukuna did not think that he will meet Tamamo so soon after his reincarnation.

"You sure like to cry a lot. Will our every meeting be like that from now on?" He remembered few moments. When he was a Cursed Object, he still could get at least some sense of the world from the outside. As Tamamo was keeping at least some of his body parts, he heard her crying pretty often.

When Tamamo heard Sukunas' words, she immediately blushed from embarrassment. " Mou~ Must you bully me like that?" She pouted cutely. "But can we be like this for a moment?..." She asked hesitantly. For her, Sukunas' body was so warm, and she also felt at ease hugging him.

Sukuna really wanted to dismiss her in annoyance, but then he remembered her cryings and how she was chatting with his cursed object for over a hundred years. He has also thought about Tamamo when he was inside of Innate Domain. And now seeing her state, her red eyes from crying, yet sweet smile, he thought that he can fulfill her little request. "Fine..." He finally answered.

When Tamamo heard the answer, she was surprised for a moment, but then her smile widened and she snuggled comfortably in his chest. Sukuna then slowly sat down and coiled his hands around Tamamo. They sat there for a few minutes in comfortable silence. Sukuna then spoke up: "Is the kingdom fine?"

"Umu... It grew quite a lot since you 'died'... All your body parts are also in the chamber. I gave only one of your fingers to the Youkai." She then lifted her head and looked directly into Sukunas' eyes. "Do you like your new body? I tried to find the best of the best." Her expression told Sukuna that she was asking for praise. 'How childish and innocent... And yet she can sometimes be ruthless and scary...' Sukuna thought to himself in wonder.

He then examined his body closer and gave his answer: "It is in pretty good shape. The physical powers of this body are between High and Ultimate-Class levels. Energy is like that of a new Ultimate-Class level being. All in all, it is pretty good. The most important is of course Senjutsu and Youjutsu. I should try to train it later with your help. Though I still wonder what kind of Youkai this body belonged to..."

"Fufufu." Tamamo giggled with a mischievous expression. "Try to feel your other body parts... It should be pretty natural for you, as you previously had four arms..." Sukuna closed his eyes for a moment and concentrated on his newly obtained body. He clearly felt that he had some body parts that were not showing themselves at the moment. As his extra body features were revealed, he looked at Tamamo with a strange expression.

"Where the fuck you found a disposable Nine-Tailed Fox for me?"
