Chapter 08

Issei was nervous.

He had died... He had been resurrected and discovered that he possessed a Sacred Gear, which was a kind of gift from God for Humans to survive among the supernatural.

He had been invited to join the Occult Research Club alongside his two biggest idols, Akeno-onee- sama and Rias-onee-sama.

This was supposed to be his happiest moment.

But it wasn't being... And it was the fault of that huge blond who was staring at him with an unfriendly face...

"Why do I feel like I'm going to die?" He cried in and out of his mind.

- They're all here, Rias-bichou. Akeno said with a smile, as she placed the tray full of sweets and drinks in front of the table.

Naruto looked at the snack but refused to take it, which earned a curious and mischievous look from Akeno.

Aren't you going to eat, Naruto-kun? She - asked with a curious look.

- And die from poisoning, no! He said, with a snort.

Akeno laughed.

- I wouldn't do that, Naruto-kun. She said. - I would never give poisoned food to my fellow Nobility. Here, let me put some in for you! - She said, separating some special ones for him.

Naruto glared at them.

They were so beautiful he could barely resist. He had heard rumors that Akeno was a great cook and just by the looks of the sweets he was sure it was true.

"Well, we're not going to live forever, are we?" - He thought, trying to console himself about his desire to eat it all.

But before he could take action, Rias clapped her hands together.

Okay, guys! Let the introductions of my two newest members begin! She said pointing at Issei.. Ise-kun, wouldn't you like to start?

The boy swallowed hard, looking around the room.

Ah... M-My name is Hyodou Issei, I-I'm a 2nd year and I was resurrected as a member of Rias Gremory-sama's Nobility! Please take good care of me! - He concluded by bowing his head.

Welcome, Issei-san, let's get along, okay? A boy with pale blond hair and a gentle, chivalrous attitude.

Welcome. - A girl with white hair and amber eyes, with a small body and a cold attitude said simply, while biting a cookie.

Welcome, Issei-kun! - Akeno in a happy attitude.

Rias clapped her hand again.

Okay, now you, Naruto-kun! - She said smiling, while watching Naruto settle down on the couch.

He was sitting right in front of Issei.

He opened his legs a little, rested one elbow on one knee and the other on the same, before resting his head in his hands, with his hair falling and covering some of his eyes.

A serious and lonely look crossed his face, as well as a gloomy attitude.

Everyone gasped softly at Naruto's change, and then he opened his mouth:

My name is Naruto Uzumaki. I hate a lot of things, and I don't particularly like anything. What I have is not a dream, because I will make it a reality. - He fixed his eyes on Issei, who froze and trembled. - I will restore my clan... And kill a certain someone.

Everyone in the room felt a chill run down their spines as they watched the way Naruto looked at Issei.

Akeno couldn't help but laugh.

- Ara ara... It looks like Issei-kun is going to die. - She said calmly.

Issei was already curled up on the couch.

"That's it... It's the end...! I'm dead! He's going to kill me!" - He said while crying internally.

This persisted for another 3-4 seconds, before Naruto burst out laughing. A real laugh to the point where he lost his breath, everyone couldn't avoid having huge drops in their heads.

Seriously, was my performance that good?! - He said laughing. You had to see their faces, it was - like: "Oh my god! Rias brought a psychopath into her Nobility!" He laughed a little more and wiped a tear from the corner of his eyes. - Relax, I'm just imitating what my friend said at the post-graduation presentation... I wanted to know if I would do better than him.

The drops in everyone's head grew, not even Rias could help but have that drop in her head.

Well, let me make my reintroduction: My name is Uzumaki Naruto. I like Ramen, sleeping and sports. My favorite colors are orange, yellow and red. I don't like studying and waking up early... Nor anyone who forces me to come to school. He gave Rias a sideways glance. At this point Issei was already sighing with relief, when Naruto added: We'll get along fine... Except you, Issei... You're still going to die!

Gah! Why?! I-I didn't do anything to you! - The boy screamed in terror.

Naruto blinked, while everyone looked at the events with curiosity, wanting to know what was going to happen and the blonde's motives.

- Of course he did! He said. Your damn girlfriend killed me in that square yesterday! - He complained. - If you hadn't tried to get a girlfriend I wouldn't have died!

-B-But you're alive! T-That's what matters! - He said in self-defense.

Naruto calmed down.

-But you're still going to die... - Then the blonde stood up, making Issei jump behind his own sofa in an attempt to stay away from the blonde.

That's when Rias stepped between the two, and held Naruto.
