DxD | Child of Ira

Reincarnation was a treasured dream for many people and I had been lucky enough to receive it. I was granted a wonderful family, plenty of wealth, and the blessing of magic but everything came at a cost. In this case, it was the intrinsic danger of the world where gods roamed freely and myth was merely a forgotten truth. I had been reborn in Highschool DxD. **** If you enjoy my work you can support me on patre*on.com/TrapOverlord for up to 12 chapters ahead.

Chapter 115

Standing across from the Lion King, Perses matched the powerful aura overflowing from his opponent with an explosion of divinity. His divinity was rough, untamed, and destructive much like the touki of the Lion King.

The two energies clashed mere moments before their owners did, the fists meeting endlessly over the span of only a few seconds. Unlike their first confrontation, neither side was pushed back nor damaged by the onslaught of blows.

An excited smile crossed the god's face as his body grew in size slightly, his muscles once more augmented and released. Unaffected by his opponent's growth Sairaorg continued to fight, his feet digging into the ground only slightly with each blow.

Pumping out just a bit more touki, Sairaorg mostly ignored his pawn's worries, his fist coating itself in a glowing golden aura before crashing into his opponent's fist. It was a punch like any other and yet it sent the deity flying back like a rocket.

The reason the Regulus Nemea was famed as the axe that could cut the world in two was because of this ability, the destructive power born from the power to control vibrations. By vibrating his fist incredibly quickly Sairaorg could increase his power dramatically.

"Looks like you can't handle that power either." Letting lose a crazed laugh Perses' couldn't help but grin wildly at the blood spurting out of the Lion King's hands even through his armor. He wasn't immune to his own power.

"Who knows?" Grinning playfully Sairaorg moved, his every move shaking the very foundation of the realm and shooting him forward. Charging forward with all the care of a raging bull, Perses met him in the middle, their fists crashing into each other's skulls.

Blow after blow rained onto their bodies as both forsake defense in favor of pumping out as much damage as possible. Each of their blows sent bones soaring through the air and contained enough force to shatter a dragon's scales effortlessly,

Blood leaked from the corner of Sairaorg's lips as his touki gradually grew a bit lighter in shade as his energy dwindled. His opponent was unhindered though. Without an injury let alone a drop of blood spilled Perses was perfectly fine.

Despite that, Sairaorg was the one grinning like a madman while Perses frowned deeply. It wasn't because the situation had suddenly been turned on its head but rather because the battle was flawed from the start.

The assumption that Sairaorg was alone was made logically, the lack of enemies made it easy to assume such a thing after all. However, that wasn't true. He could feel it, a powerful soul surrounding them and ruining their fun.

"Aika was it? Thanks for the assistance!"

Wiping away the blood on his lips Sairaorg grinned widely as he could feel himself separating from the normal flow of existence. He could innately tell what had been done to him, what kind of benefits that girl had given him.

Taking a single step was all it took for Sairaorg to be in front of his opponent, his fist crashing into the god's head before he could even move. Holding a hand up to his head Perses didn't know whether to be angry at the interruption or glad it made the fight more interesting.

"50% release." At that simple phrase, Perses' body expanded like a balloon, his body now nothing more than a monstrosity of muscle. Divinity flowed freely through him as he acclimated to his unreleased power.

But Sairaorg was not kind enough to give him that chance. With yet another almost instantaneous movement Sairaorg's fist crashed into God's body numerous times, his strength added to his momentum to create a fierce blow.

With each strike torrential winds would erupt from behind the god, a storm of wind lifting and shattering the bones around them with ease. If any low ranking supernatural being was present these winds would cut them up with ease.

Ignoring the blows crashing into his flesh as though they were nothing more than a nuisance Perses' hand blurred before Sairaorg was sent flying through the air with golden pieces of his armor falling apart around him.

Ignoring his wounds the Lion King took a single step, his large body instantly behind Perses as he gripped the god in a tight embrace. Vibrating immensely, Sairaorg felt his organs scream as Perses stood ramrod straight.

"Is that all? 75% relea—" Looking down at his opponent in disappointment Perses prepared to release even more power but he found his words caught in his throat. Not only that, he found a rock trapped in his throat.

It was a small pebble that fell like a meteor with an almost infinite amount of velocity, crashing into his skull and continuing downward. No blood nor brain matter exploded outward as it was instantly turned to ashes by the sheer heat of the pebble.

Stopping his vibrations Sairaorg stepped away, the giant corpse crashing into the ground. It was a bit of a fool's errand on his end but he was something akin to a placeholder until Aika could arrive. She was supposed to assist Hakuji and Lavinia for a while before heading over however it was certainly risky.

Many of his allies had received matchups purposefully placed in their favor in order to increase the likelihood of winning but he was in the opposite boat. He was here to stall and to take as much damage as possible.

"How much did you get?" Manifesting in front of Sairaorg was a cute yet seductive girl he had only seen once or twice before. She was part of Rias' peerage yet she was a new addition so he hadn't the opportunity to talk to her though that hardly mattered now.

"Enough to make Damian lift a finger." While that may sound unimpressive Sairaorg was quite proud of his accomplishment if the wide grin on his face was anything to go by. His sacred gear had two main powers, the ability to control vibrations and the ability to turn damage into power.

"Wow!" Clapping her hands in amazement, Aika Kiryuu clearly understood the importance of such a thing. Eagerly waving her hand she created a portal to the next battlefield, the final battlefield. After this was over, she could finally seduce Damian completely!
