Chapter 154 Enraged

The undeads have started to regain a bit of mobility, but the human cultivators were still able to easily finish them off. As the last undead died, everyone erupted in cheers at their victory, except for the three Angels who knew the fight wasn't over just yet.

"Everyone, head back to the mansion and rest." Synthia said and they didn't need to be asked twice as they headed back to the mansion. They have been fighting for an entire day and were more than just exhausted, but Synthia still had something else to do.

[Alice, where are you?] Synthia asked

[Hold on, I'll release my aura.] She said and Alice quickly deactivated her [Misting] skill, allowing Synthia to find her with her [Aura Vision]. She quickly flew towards arrived at Alice's location and happily embraced her friend.

"Alice, I'm glad to see that you're alright." Synthia said

"Me too, but if you wouldn't mind letting me go. I can't breathe." Alice said and Synthia slowly let her go. Synthia then went on to explain what has been happening since morning and Alice was impressed by the two Mature Angel's strength, but her expression turned grave when she realized that Master Foustus was still alive.

"Just how strong us that guy." Alice said with a frustrated look on her face

"Yeah I know how you feel, but we can't do anything about it for now. The only thing we can do is rest and prepare for his next attack." Synthia said and Alice nodded her head.

The sun rose above the horizon, welcoming a new day. In a completely destroyed section of the forest where ashes and the corpses of three demonic serpents lay, a tall demonic figure rose to his feet, his eyes burning red.

Colin stood up from the ground, fully healed as all the poison in his body was eliminated, even so he wasn't feeling well, far from it.

"I'm gonna kill that short bastard." He said with an enraged look on his face, so, after cutting off the enormous heads of the guardian serpents, he flew towards the city. He flew to the top of a building and waited for the object of his hatred to reveal himself, but he could sense two other persons flew towards him.

"Hey Colin what..." Sera started but stopped when she saw Colin's lack of clothes and the three enormous serpent heads, contrary to her, Lily looked Colin over and gave him a lustfilled smile, but then she suddenly stopped when she saw his tattoo.

"Nice tattoo, where did you get it?" She asked curiously as she got a strange feeling from it. To her, it looked like a strange rule with a creature sitting on it, and what made her curious was the fact that the tattoo was glowing an intense red, yet she couldn't see any visible effects.

"I got it during my previous evolution." Colin replied

"Huh." Lily replied while trying to examine the tattoo even more with Sera giving her a weird look.

"It seems you have completed your task." A voice came from behind him, and Colin quickly turned around to see a short man.

"You bastard, why didn't you tell me that there were three guardians guarding that cave?!" Colin asked angrily and the tattoo glowed even more causing Lily to narrow her eyes.

"My apologies for that, I didn't know there were three of them." The short man said but Colin could tell that he was lying and let out a low growl which caused the tattoo to glow even more.

"Look, to be honest with you, I didn't really care whether you lived or died, and I was hoping those snakes would kill you, but you are stronger than I thought. As an apology, why don't I give you four regalias and two storage rings for your efforts." He said

"Or better yet, why don't I just turn this entire city to ash?" Colin said and the air became hotter as embers of hellfire ignited in the air.

"You could, but what would that achieve, other than making you and your family an enemy of another family." The man said and Colin visibly calmed down as the embers disappeared.

"Fine, I'll take you up on your offer but if you do anything to my family, you can consider yourself dead." Colin said and the man nodded his head, and suddenly, six rings appeared in his hands and he handed them to Colin who quickly snatched them away.

"By the way, Ms. Lily told me that you're the one who created a new family and that you were born on Earth. I think I may be able to help." The man said and Colin threw a quick glare at Lily and she just shrugged her shoulder.

"And how can you help me?" Colin asked

"Information, resources, cursed items, we have it all. You weren't born in the underworld which means you don't know much about demons, Angels and everything in between, my guild can provide all of that.....for a price of course." The man said with a grin

"Uh huh, and how am I so sure that you won't just rip me off like you did earlier?" Colin said, he knew that the little Demon was right, he didn't know much and although he could ask Synthia, it's obvious to him that she won't tell him anything regarded as a secret by her race and her knowledge was limited. But a demon house could give him all sorts of information, granted they didn't screw him over.

"That's what this is for." The man said and touched Colin's hand, and before he could retaliate, a contract entered his field of vision.
