Usurper

Adams eye widen in shock.

Beyond the skills that he has obtained as the dungeon master, spatial manipulation and summon, he only had two other skill there, usurper and Void Slash.

'What in the word does usurper means? Since when did I learn Void Slash?' Adam thought to himself.

Just as he did, he heard X-32 voice in his head once more, "Usurper (level 1), skill unique for the herald of chaos. Enable user to learn and use skill from any class or beast as long as he see it once. Invalidates the ability to learn skills through normal means."

"What the... Invalidates the ability to learn skill through normal means? What does that mean?" Adam asked.

"Beep, that means that you cannot learn skill through reading books or training as normal warriors or mages would." X-32 replied.

"But in return... I get to learn them immediately after seeing it only once... Interesting... Wait... Does that mean..." Adam said to himself when he suddenly though about something. A grin flashed on his face.

Void slash was the skill that tokkie just used and just by seeing it earlier, said skill is now registered as his own. Both the initial downward strike and the follow up are both void slashes, just that in different direction.

Knowing this, Adam held fast the stick in his hand, striking the same pose that Tokkie was striking earlier... As if mirror imaging her previous self. A dark aura seeped out of him engulfing the surrounding.

Tokkie shuddered as she saw the sight infront of her. Void slash was merely an initiation skill to many of her more powerful sword arts but even that took her years of training. From sight it self she knew that what she saw was more than a mere imitation... It is as if he has learnt it and in the process... Understood the very essence of the technique thus improving it by many fold.

Fearsome...

"However that itself is not enough to scare me! Let's see what you've got!" Tokkie roared as she lunged infront.

This was however the moment Adam was awaiting, seeing that Tokkie has just lunged herself straight towards himself, he focused his strength into the sword and shouted out the name of the skill in his mind as his hands move automatically.

Swoosh!

The stick flew downwards at where Tokkies head would have been. As if taking a pointer out of Adams book, she dodges slightly to the left at the very last moment.

That however was enough. Unlike her own void slash, the vacuum created from the slash was so great that even she was pulled into it. Her slight dodge to the left was offset by the pull from said vacumn resulting in her tripping back towards the centre and now, as if taking a pointer out of Tokkies book earlier, Adam followed it up with a horizontal slash which hit squarely at her arms.

Pah!

Adams stick broke as it slammed into Tokkies arm mercilessly.

Adams lips curled into a smirked. His sudden won caught even him by suprise. Pride filled his heart and a sudden need to gloat enveloped him.

As he lifted his head up and prepared to mock the fallen Tokkie, what he saw made him shut up instead. Red glows sparkled from the midst of darkness at where tokkie should be, cold chills spread throughout the floor, as if an demon has finally awoken and it had found a worthy opponent.

"I'm sorry!!!!!" Adam on the spot knelt and begun begging for forgiveness.

"Tch, what are you even sorry for. You beat me fair and square. At least now I know I can trust you in a battle later on as we take on the goblins" Tokkie smiled akwardly.

"I though you weren't from here? Why do you know the initiation move for the 100 Steps of Void sword skill?" Tokkie asked as she remembered how she was beaten.

"I... I... I just copied you?" Adam said with absolute no confidence.

"You..." Tokkie face grew red.

'Yo bro! I get it! We all have secrets, if you don't want to tell me, you could have just said so. Do you have to insult me by saying a skill I took years to learn you did better by merely imitating me in mere seconds?'

Adam choose agaibts telling her about said skill as even thought she is a follower of the faith of chaos, said information would make anybody more guarded towards showing their own skill for him to see. After all, the only way for him to grow stronger for now is to gain as many skills as possible and that will be hard of people knew he could steal their skills by merely watching them. Plus, by what that have just happened, it would seem that he would execute it in a more better version... Something akin to the perfect copy skill of Ryota Kise from Kuroko No Basuke, only that this applies to all skills and not just basket ball.

"Alright, now that we are all ready, lets get back to planning. I doubt I have enough mana to cave in the entire space where the goblins are focused at, however, it should be possible for me to seal off all of the exits, forcing the goblins to rush towards us in a single column one after the other in said tunnel. Without the element of suprise, they would be easy peasy!" Adam said.

As mentioned previously, the goblins were located in level 5 of the dungeon currently. The room they have decided to camp in has 3 exist that leads to different place, normally, an assault from any one of said entrance will result in goblins running to any one of the 3 exist and then ambusing the assulters from the back.

Chaos

It was chaos in the goblin camp. Just a moment ago they were celebrating for successfully eliminating a whole party of humans and taking the female members hostage. Next thing they know, the goblins on guard as well as a captain was already killed. One apparently being crushed by a rock, another fallen into a ditch and the last slashed in half.

What in the world was going on.

"Hantar tiga lagi pergi menyiasat! Tunggu apa lagi?!" one of the goblin captains bellowed to his subordinates.

However, just as a few of those subordinates started scrambling around, there was a weird rumble in the earth.

"Apa kejadahan?!" The goblin captain said as he rushed out his tent.

"Jalan ditutup!!" various goblins nearing the three exits shouted indicating that the path they were guarding has suddenly sealed up leaving only one.

As it turned its head to see one and only path that wasn't blocked, a dark and malicious aura started seeping out from it.

"Apa i....tu...." the goblin took out his blade while signaling to the rest to be careful as they approach it. Clearly something dangerous was there and the tunnels closing was its doing.

Not wanting to take the chance as it has already learnt from reports earlier that there were goblins that were previously killed from being crushed by rock and seeing that the earth itself moved to seal the tunnels, it signalled to another to bring a something out.

The goblin beside it nod its head, went bsck into the tent and came up with a flask containing yellow liquid and showing it to the lead.

The lead signalled once again at said goblin for which it merely nodded its head and immediately threw the flask in the direction of that tunnel.

The flask was something the got from the party they murdered earlier. It was a flash containing concentrated essence of fire. In other words, it was a bomb.
