Chapter 38 - Leo's Determination

In Vestia, Leo's inn.

Leo woke up to a loud banging outside the inn. He trashed his bed, annoyed by the person responsible for making such a loud disturbance. When he couldn't take it anymore, he sat up, his black hair disheveled, naked, and his face frowning.

However, before he could move to check the reasoning behind such annoyance, it suddenly became quiet. Leo smiled in satisfaction and went back to his bed. But then, the voice of someone reverberated through the inn, scolding a pitiable person.

Leo wondered what the person did to deserve such harsh words. Then, Leo abruptly opened his eyes when he heard the man's voice once again.

"Hey, old hag! It's been months since your last payment, and our boss has already been impatient. If you can't pay 4 gold coins within this month, we will be forced to take this place from you!"

Leo sat up, put on some clothes, equipped his mace and shield, and walked out of his room with a furious face.
