Graystar Botan stood with her righteous metal bat at the ready, glancing down at Akaya as he clutched his throbbing head in agony. Her gaze shifted to his left arm, where a writhing tentacle extended, its slimy path leading to the hapless Nine-Tails Remi, who shivered on the ground, teary-eyed and mumbling incoherently.

"Hmm," Botan murmured, her expression calm but resolute.

She took a single step forward, her bat glinting in the light as she raised it once more and struck Akaya on the head without hesitation.

"Ouch! Twice? You hit me twice?!" Akaya howled, clutching his head. "Unfair!"

"Retract the lewd tentacle," she ordered with unnerving serenity.

"B-Botan-chan!" Remi's eyes lit up with a flicker of hope. "Are you... Are you going to save me?"
