145: The unknown sad story

"Lina-ah! Come down! I remember everything! I remember you! I-I-I... please come down! Don't do this! Please!" Dae Ju shouted. Min Jae was also running after him. Min Jae remembered about her. She came to him earlier but he couldn't recognize her back then. And her teary eyes were saying that his friend makes her life miserable. Her messing hair was like flying in the air. She looks at his friend who was screaming by her name. He was almost crying.

"Please don't do it! Please come down! For my sake!" Dae Ju shouted again. He ran closer to her. This time Lina opened her mouth,

"Who are you to stop me? What am I to you? Just leave me alone!" she started crying heavily.

"You...you are my...." saying this Dae Ju stopped.

"See? You can't answer this question. Go and live your own life happily. And leave me alone. It wasn't your fault, I know" said Lina.

"I can't leave you till the end. Because I love you! I love you!" Dae Ju cried out.

"Hmmh! How easy that word, isn't it?" chuckled she.

"Please forgive me! I swear I will protect you no matter how. Please just don't leave me like this. I beg you!" he shouted.

"How? There's no way! This is my destiny. I have to put my foot in hell. You are free just like I am going to be free." her voice was very calm, disappoint which was finding a path for peace. Dae Ju went to her and extended his hand towards her.

"Can you at least tell me what have you been when I wasn't there?" his eyes were questioning with tears.

"Try to hold my hand and come down," he begged. Min Jae stands beside him and wanted to help her.

"You will stay with me. I promise! I will do anything for you. I just need your hands. Listen to me! Grab my hand. Please! I love you. I mean it. Trust me." saying this he wanted to grab her.

"Hyung! Go close to her! She is going to fall!" Min Jae shouted and went closer to them. He was shocked but he couldn't understand what to do in this situation.

"How can you save me? How can you remove the mark which you applied on me? I can't hear that I can't bear those anymore! Please go away from here! I was fine! And I will be fine!" Lina said while crying.

"We will think about it later! Everything will be fine! You just have to come to me!" Dae Ju went more closer and nearly hold her legs.

"Hyung!" Suddenly Min Jae screamed.

"What?" Dae Ju looked at him. He pointed at her face. Her face was becoming pale suddenly. She was closing her eyes slowly. Seems like she will be unconscious in a minute. She was gonna fall. But Dae Ju holds her dress and pulled her to him. So she falls on him but she wasn't in her sense.

"Lina-ah! Hey! Hey! Lina! No! No! It can't be! Please open your eyes! What should I do? Hey!" Dae Ju kept pat on her face slowly. He was sitting on the ground and she was lying on his lap. Min Jae went far from them.

"Hey! How can you leave us like this! Cone back I said!" Dae Ju shouted. He was afraid, scared because of her. She can't leave him like this! She has to come to him! Just like he came back to her!

Min Jae came with their car and told him to get in.

"Ah! I thought you left us!" Dae Ju felt relieved. He checked if she was breathing or not and noticing her breathing, he felt relieved. He went inside the car with her unconscious body.

"Aish! I am not that heartless!" Min Jae replied and start the car.

They came to the hospital and Dae Ju was quickly getting out of the car.

"Hyung!" Min Jae shouted.

"What?" Dae Ju looked back.

"Wear this. Nobody should recognize you." Min Jae threw a big mask and Dae Ju caught it.

"Ah! You are so amazing! Thank you!" he put on the mask and took out Lina's body.

After some time, the doctor came outside and stood in front of them.

"Who is her husband?" she asked.

"Ah! It's me. Why?" Dae Ju went in front and asked. Min Jae got a huge shock by hearing it but he didn't say anything to him. He kept looking at him silently.

"Do you know since when she started bleeding?" She asked.

"W-w-what? W-w-what d-did you say?" Dae Ju couldn't get it.

"She was pregnant, right?" she asked.

"Yes, you are right!" Dae Ju answered curiously.

"Do you know in this time girls don't get their period," she asked as if it was a very normal conversation but Dae Ju got red out of embarrassment and he couldn't reply anything.

"A-a-ah! I don't know anything about it." Dae Ju replied hesitatingly.

"Oh! She lost too much blood do she became very weak. And I am sorry to inform you that...." The doctor took a long breath.

"What?" Dae Ju became afraid and asked.

"That.....(sighing), it's a miscarriage." Saying this she took another long breath. Dae Ju felt like the sky has fallen on his head.

"What?" he suddenly sat down on the floor.

"She is fine! You can meet her. She is sleeping now. We gave her some pills to reduce the bleeding but it will continue for more than regular. So take a good care of her." saying this she left from there. Min Jae was standing far and hearing everything he couldn't process his mind.

"Was that y-you-u?" he asked by faltering. In reply, Dae Ju nodded his head as he got the question. Hearing his answer he sighed and came to him. He makes Dae Ju stood up.

"You should go and look at her," he said.

"I have to make a phone call. Wait here." Dae Ju said and went far. After some time he came back and went inside. Min Jae also followed them. Suddenly Min Jae's phone starts ringing. He took the call as their manager called him.

"Where are you?" he asked.

"We are...at a karaoke." Min Jae answered and looked at Dae Ju. Dae Ju got afraid as he assumed who it was.

"We should go! They know about us! He told us to go to the dorm right now." Min Jae says after hung up the call. But seems like Dae Ju has no interest in his words at all. He put off the mask and sat beside her and hold her hand. He kissed her hand and touch her forehead slowly. She was sleeping peacefully as if she couldn't sleep for a month. He kept looking at her. Her face, lips everything became pale. There were dark circles around her eyes. The cut marks on her cheeks were still there. That time someone came inside the room in a rush.

"Ah! Dae Ju-ah! I never hope that I can meet you again!" Jheong Woo came inside. Dae Ju actually called him as he remembered his number and told him to come here. Dae Ju stood up and all of sudden, he ran to him and hugged him tightly.

"Hey! you will hurt him!" Min Jae was coming to them but Dae Ju gestured him with his hand to stop and let him do what he wants.

"I really forgot you. But I just remembered because of this." he chuckled and showed the necklace.

"Ah! This!" saying this he turned around and noticed Min Jae.

"Oh! Sir! I am honored that I finally meet you! Can I take a selfie with you? Or your autograph will be okay!" He bowed to Min Jae and said.

"Hey! You just called me Dae Ju-ah! And you are calling him sir! Ah! How unfair it is!" He said in his style. Min Jae smiled and get ready to give a pose for a photo.

"But you can't share it anywhere. Keep it secret," he said and captured some photos.

"I will not! It's too precious for me!" Jheong Woo because very happy and excited and said.

"Jheong Woo-ah! Can you tell me what happened to her? She kept saying that she can't bear it anymore. What did she talking about?" Dae Ju asked by looking at her. Hearing the question, Jheong Woo sighed.

"I don't know much but when I came back I directly went to your house to check if you were there or not. But what I see was dangerous." saying this he lost in somewhere.

"What did you see?" Dae Ju asked making a curious but scared face.

"I saw the landlady was dragging her out from the house. I went to stop her but she told me she told you almost a month ago to leave the house. But after you have gone, I mean, died, a rumor has been spread that she killed you because she was cheating on you and she became pregnant with her boyfriend and you caught her. That's why she killed you. She didn't come out of the house for the last two weeks. When the landlady went to meet her, she didn't open the door either. That morning the police came to her for collecting some information but the people around there thought they came to arrest her. They all were shouting to give her a death sentence but the police left from there after trying to talk with her some times.

I know how painful it would be for her. How everyone would glare at her with their hateful eyes. How she had to listen to their bad-mouthing. How she locked her up in a room so that she didn't have to listen to them....." his eyes were getting full of tears. But when he looked at Dae Ju, he noticed that his white face had gone red as he was dropping tears.

"Because of it, I didn't want to leave. I wanted to stay beside her but I couldn't give her that happiness which she wanted." Dae Ju said.

"I told her about you. About your note. About the diary. She didn't believe me at first. She kept reading your notes again and again. She matched your handwriting with Rumi's but found no match. Still, she didn't believe it. I took her to the genie guy. He explained her everything and then she believed it. But we didn't hope that you will remember everything. But destiny supports you finally. I am glad that you remember everything." Jheong Woo sighed but smiled.

"I am glad too but the Ajusshi kept telling me that I can't remember anything, but how's that possible? Was it because I have been killed?" Dae Ju was thinking.

"Maybe! Then, who killed you?" Jheong Woo was curious. They didn't notice that Min Jae went outside a while ago so he can't hear anything from him. But he returned inside to take Dae Ju at home. But suddenly he heard something more unexpected.

"Baek Kyung." Dae Ju sighed.

"Baek Kyung? You found him?" Jheong Woo was surprised.

"No, he found me." Dae Ju replied.

"Baek Kyung? Our Baek Kyung?" Min Jae asked curiously from behind.

"Yes, Do you know where he is now?" Dae Ju asked.

"I heard Mr. Park arrested all of them because they have been warned a while ago. The guy who called the police surrender to them." Jheong Woo replied.

"Ah! I have to meet him." Dae Ju said.

"No! How can it happen? How he became a criminal?" Min Jae still couldn't get that.

"It was shocking for me too but I admit that it was my fault." Dae Ju sighed.

"What?" Jheong Woo and Min Jae were surprised.

"I will tell you later. I have to meet him first." Dae Ju wanted to go but Min Jae stopped him.

"No, hyung! If the manager knows that we didn't go to our dorm yet, we will be in trouble. We should go as soon as possible." Min Jae said because he got another call.

"Let me talk to her first. I want to apologize to her." he looked at her and said.
