As the scythe spun through the air, its curved blade gleamed under the dim light, heading straight for Seung. He moved fluidly, dodging the weapon with a swift sidestep, watching it pass between him and Jaemin. The scythe, like a boomerang, curved back toward the woman who controlled it. The tension in the air thickened as Jaemin prepared his next move.
"Stay out of this, Seung," Sunny warned, his voice firm. "I've got it."
Seung gave a brief nod, stepping back as Sunny sprinted towards the woman. The demoness, seeing the incoming threat, shifted into a defensive stance. Her eyes darted between Sunny and the scythe returning to her hand. She knew the odds were stacked against her, but she wasn't about to give up. There was still something left to fight for, something to live for, and she clung to that spark of hope with all her might.
