After saying his mind, Seung disconnected the call with a firm press of the button, his jaw tightening. He moved toward the table where everyone was seated, the muffled hum of the cafeteria accentuating the silence. Now, it appeared that Kim Eunji had foreshadowed his future the last time they met. She had clearly stated that he might end up not giving up on being a Hunter.
Reaching the table, he sat beside Jinhu and Jaemin, while the Song family was seated opposite with Mr. Choi. The cafeteria was eerily quiet, with only the distant clatter of dishes as the last attendees of the memorial service left.
Mr. Song glanced at him and said, "Seung, I'm sorry for what happened. I…"
